Winston: ...

Then Kailan came over as well:

"Aiden, if you're having trouble sleeping, go and take care of your work. I can help you put the cub to sleep; just leave the baby in my room..."

Richard facepalms: Enough, Kaylan, you're too blunt! Can't you see Winston's angry?!

As expected, Winston's face finally darkened under Kaylan's provocation:

"Who's saying I'm in a bad mood? Spreading rumors, or I'll drag them out and give them a taste of their own medicine."

Just when Winston was feeling frustrated and angry, Cyrus came along and kicked him while he was down, becoming the final straw that angered Winston:

"Master, I heard you were so sad you almost cried because you didn't get a kiss from the cub? Don't cry, I'll contact Helena for you so you can go back and cry in your mother's arms."

Winston's face was so dark it was almost dripping with water.

He gave Cyrus a good talking-to, then pressed them for answers:

"Who exactly spread the message? I swear in Winston's name that he will experience the customs and culture of the other side of the world that he has never felt before."

"I will send him to Africa to work hard for two years, gain experience, and then he can come back."

As Winston was speaking, he heard all of their phones ring at the same time, clearly a message notification tone.

Before Cyrus could protect his phone, Winston had already taken the phone out of his pocket, forcibly unlocked it with Cyrus's fingerprint, and opened the messages.

Thus, the cub's voice was amplified in this tense atmosphere.

The little guy was clearly speaking secretly, lowering his voice and slowly saying in a soft voice:

"Sigh, I really think Daddy is going to cry. He's so clingy, even more so than Sirius. But my tummy is really full. I want to save the cookies and put them in my tummy tomorrow."

"Daddy is so hard to please, Daddy isn't a good baby..."

Winston's hand froze.

The butler coughed awkwardly.

Then, coughing erupted in waves.

This was probably the most helpless and embarrassing moment of Winston's life.

But he couldn't get angry even if he wanted to. He felt as if his dignity had been struck by the cub and shattered into pieces, impossible to put back together.

He silently let everyone go, returned to the cubs who were pretending to be asleep, and retaliated by pulling back the cubs' blankets and grabbing one of them who was secretly playing on a mobile phone.

The child was startled, his small body jerked, and his big eyes stared at him in surprise.

Then the cub immediately closed its eyes and, in a self-deceptive manner, said:

"Baby is asleep, baby is sleepwalking."

Winston, expressionless, gave the cub a hard kiss on the cheek:

"Baby who sleepwalks while playing on their phone is so naughty, they deserve a kiss on the cheek as punishment."

The baby made two "hmm" sounds and obediently turned its right cheek to let its father kiss it.

Although Winston eventually managed to get the little cat, he still didn't receive any affection from the cub.

If he saw that even Morin was being kissed by a cub, he'd probably faint from anger.

But Maureen didn't know that he had already accomplished something that even his revered Mr. Winston hadn't achieved.

After being kissed by the cub, Morin reacted as if he had been burned, immediately retreating several meters away and watching the cub warily.

He appeared calm on the surface, but inwardly he was panicking, thinking: No, this little guy's influence is too strong.

He probably won't be able to resist for long, and will become like those people, a stupid human whose mind is filled with nothing but the thought that cubs are cute.

How can he then follow Mr. Winston?

With this in mind, Morin made up her mind to keep her distance from the cubs.

He cautiously moved a few meters away from the cub, maintaining a safe distance, before continuing to ask:

"Alright, don't delay my work any longer. Tell me, what's your mother's name?"

The cub paused for a moment.

He felt that he hadn't missed his mother in a long time.

Although I have nightmares and get scared every day.

But apart from that, he seems to be gradually forgetting his mother...

The cub didn't understand why, but it visibly became dejected and gradually started to sob.

He was called a crybaby by Helena, and that wasn't an exaggeration.

Even Winston didn't know where all those tears came from.

Upon seeing this, Morin paused for a moment, then immediately returned to the cub and knelt down on one knee.

He was extremely flustered at that moment.

What should we do? Could this child have been abandoned?

They were all crying. My God, so pitiful, he couldn't bear it, seeing such young children's tears...

What to do? What to do? As long as he doesn't cry, anything is fine, even if it means going through fire and water...

otherwise……

After thinking for just three seconds, Morin made a decisive decision:

"If your parents don't want you, I'll take care of you! Don't cry... I'll find you a new dad and a new mom. As long as you don't cry, anything is fine. I'll take care of you for the rest of my life, and I'll treat you as my only child."

The cub didn't understand, but he could sense the worry emanating from Morin's voice.

The little one rushed into Morin's arms and secretly wiped away her tears with Morin's clothes.

Morin felt the cub's warmth and assumed he had agreed.

As Maureen relaxed, she felt an immense responsibility weighing heavily on her shoulders.

What should I do? He's never had children before. Can he learn from the relationship between Mr. Winston and his children?

Morin was lost in thought when the little guy pulled him back to reality by tightly gripping his clothes.

Morin thought to himself that his cubs were so fragile that they still needed to be protected.

For the first time, Morin was as gentle as if he were caring for a delicate flower. He tried to gently wipe away the cub's tears and soothe him softly until there was a knock at the door, at which point Morin had to turn around and stand up.

"What's wrong?"

A voice from outside the door said, "Mr. Morin, His Highness Richard has issued a search warrant and needs your assistance."

Morin wanted to go out, but the cub behind her grabbed her clothes.

Morin turned his head and saw a cub with red eyes and eyelids that were red from crying.

Morin's steps faltered instantly.

He glanced at the cubs and then heard urging voices outside the door.

Now that things had come to this, Morin had no choice but to make up her mind, pick up the cub again, and take him out with her.

Morin thought to himself that he would probably be held accountable by Mr. Winston later, as this was the first time he had done something like dereliction of duty.

But for this little guy, Morin was willing to sacrifice.

He will be loyal, but he will also protect his new treasures.

Maureen, holding the cub, pushed open the door.

The outside was clearly in complete chaos.

He watched as Mr. Winston stood in the center of the crowd, surrounded by people with varying expressions, and a wave of surprise washed over him.

Molin, unable to contain his curiosity, pressed for an answer:

"What exactly happened?"

Morin's subordinate replied, "His Highness Richard is looking for a child, a two-year-old mixed-race baby with black hair and black eyes, wearing overalls..."

Morin was taken aback and looked down to meet the cub's gaze.

he asks:

"What exactly is this child's identity...?"

The subordinate swallowed hard and replied:

"He is Mr. Winston's youngest son. He is of pure royal blood and the youngest child in the Winston family."
