Hogwarts' Golden Glory
Chapter 72 Destroying the Soul Weapon!
"Alright, Dobby, you can go back now. I'll call you if I need you."
Kane's expression was calm, but his tone left no room for argument.
Dobby hesitated for a moment, but in the end, under Kane's firm gaze, Dobby reluctantly agreed.
With a crisp "snap," it vanished instantly, leaving only a faint magical ripple in the air.
Kane narrowed his eyes slightly, chanted a spell in a low voice, and lightly tapped his forehead with his wand.
When the light faded, Professor Quirrell, looking slightly hunched over, reappeared in the same spot.
His clothes were also transformed into Professor Quirrell's signature robes.
Even the slight trembling when walking was imitated perfectly.
Kane, now disguised as Quirrell, carefully searched the paths of the Forbidden Forest, wand in hand.
The Forbidden Forest was eerily quiet now, with only Kane's light footsteps and the cracking of branches breaking on the ground.
Suddenly, his keen eyes spotted a group of small spiders moving hurriedly in one direction.
Kane's heart skipped a beat, and without hesitation, he followed closely behind the little spiders.
Suddenly, a low rustling sound came from ahead, and Kane stopped in his tracks.
As the sound grew closer, a spider as tall as a person slowly emerged.
Eight eyes gleamed with a ghostly blue light.
The hairy, long legs scraped across the ground with a screeching sound.
Without hesitation, Kane swiftly swung his wand, and a silver beam shot from the tip, striking the spider precisely.
The spider's massive body shuddered violently before crashing to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.
Kane then picked up the specially made dragon-skin bag and put the spider inside.
Before Kane could even catch his breath, more rustling sounds came from around him.
Looking up, he saw more than a dozen spiders of various sizes crawling up from the trees and bushes all around him, surrounding him completely.
These spiders had fierce eyes, clearly hostile towards Kane who had intruded into their territory.
Kane took out a bottle of potion, and as the potion flowed down his throat, a warm current instantly spread throughout his body, and his depleted magic power began to recover rapidly.
He then drew his two wands.
In an instant, the tips of the two wands shone brightly!
Like a surging tide, beams of light converged and struck the spiders.
The spiders fell down after being struck by the spell.
Neither the spiders that pounced down from the tree nor those that crawled swiftly across the ground could get any closer to him.
"Not enough...not enough..." Kane muttered to himself, staring at the swarm of spiders struggling on the ground.
After a fierce battle, most of the hundreds of spiders that had been so aggressive had collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
Kane put all the spiders into his dragon-skin bag.
The surrounding spiders were already filled with fear and dared not approach.
Kane quickly got up and hurried away in the direction he had come from.
A hint of apprehension flashed in Aragog's eyes, hidden deep within.
What kind of sorcerer is this, coming here to slaughter his own descendants!
But he dared not go out! He was afraid of dying!
Aragog let out a low, hoarse whinny that echoed deep within the Forbidden Forest.
Upon hearing this sound, the spiders, who were about to continue chasing Kane, instantly fell silent.
They looked up at Aragog, awaiting their leader's command.
Aragok spoke slowly, his voice carrying an undeniable authority: "Children, stop. This wizard is extremely dangerous. The magical energy emanating from him is far beyond your ability to withstand. A rash pursuit will only increase casualties."
The spiders seemed to understand Aragog's words.
Its forelimbs, which had been raised high in preparation for a pounce, slowly lowered, and the fierce glint in its eyes gradually faded as it began to retreat methodically into the shadows.
"What a pity," Kane muttered to himself, tapping his temple with his wand as a flash of silver light appeared.
"Dobby!" Kane whispered, grabbing the crumpled hem of the house-elf's clothes as soon as it appeared. "Go back to where you were."
Dobby was somewhat puzzled, but he knew that the strangely dressed man was none other than young master Kane.
Then, with a snap, the two were back at their original meeting place.
Kane then sent Dobby away, the fewer people who knew about this, the better!
He took a deep breath, calmed himself down, and began to summon Fiery Blaze.
As the wand was waved, at first only a small flame appeared, its faint light flickering in the darkness.
Kane carefully moved the small flame into the rock space he had previously set up.
Then he opened the dragon skin bag and dumped all the spiders inside in.
The raging fire, nourished, instantly came to life and rapidly grew stronger.
Kane, seeing that it was about time, then threw Ravenclaw's crown in.
The crown was quickly engulfed by flames and began to tremble violently, revealing Tom Riddle's face on the ruby surface.
His features are melting!
"Let's see you pretend!" Kane sneered as he watched this scene.
"Just now, the consciousness inside was mocking us, but now, death is what it fears most!"
Meanwhile, in a distant place, Voldemort was rushing towards them with great anxiety.
Inside Hogwarts Castle, he had already quickened his pace as much as possible.
A sharp pain suddenly shot through his mind!
His voice was hoarse, "My..."
Suddenly, Voldemort saw Quirrell destroying the crown!
That was the last image transmitted by a fragment of my own soul!
"Who is this?!"
Meanwhile, Harry was fast asleep in bed, his lightning bolt scar gleaming with silver light!
The excruciating pain jolted him awake instantly, and he broke out in a cold sweat!
Professor Quirrell's chilling laugh as he destroyed the Horcruxes was so vivid in his dream!
Kane witnessed firsthand how the Fiendfire, after consuming Voldemort's Horcrux, increased in power and instantly went out of control!
The raging fire emitted a deafening roar, like a bomb exploding on the shore of Black Lake.
Peeves wakes up in Filch's office broom cabinet.
He still had half a moldy Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Bean stuffed in his mouth.
"Merlin's stinky socks!" He spat out dusty beans, his transparent body passing through the cabinet door.
Memories of being trapped in a mop bucket by Kane's Anti-Prank Charm the night before flooded back!
He was so frightened that he didn't even steal his favorite toilet plunger before fleeing the room.
A strange red light suddenly flashed in the direction of Black Lake.
Peeves hovered under the eaves of the greenhouse, its frog-egg-like eyes wide open.
The moonlight reflected on the lake was torn to pieces!
The eerie blue flames were crawling up the rocks, taking the shape of a human face, trying to get past Kane's remaining barrier!
"Fire! Fire at Black Lake!" He shouted as he ran back and forth in the castle corridors, his voice amplified by magic into thunder!
"Come quick! There's a monster there!"
