Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 64 Library Forbidden Zone

After shaking off Filch, Kane cautiously made his way to the library entrance.

Just to be on the safe side, he still cast the Disillusionment Spell.

After entering the library, Kane, familiar with its layout, headed straight for the restricted area.

"Oh? Someone's here?"

Grindelwald, who was reading a book in the restricted area, sensed someone entering the barrier he had set up.

A hint of curiosity flashed in his eyes, and he instantly cast a transformation spell to conceal himself.

He wanted to see which wizard had broken the rules of Hogwarts.

Kane stepped into the penalty area, where it was pitch black, so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.

Left with no other choice, he gently waved his wand, and a soft light shone from the tip, illuminating his path forward.

"Oh, it's this kid."

Hidden in the shadows, Grindelwald saw who it was and gave a knowing look.

However, he remained silent, instead filled with curiosity to see what kind of magic Kane was looking for.

Seeing that no one was around, Kane dispelled the illusion spell.

Holding his wand, he used the faint light to eagerly search the bookshelves for magical books about Fiendfire.

"Not this one, not this one either, ugh, this book is so ugly..."

Kane muttered to himself as he scanned the bookshelves row by row.

Unforgivable: From Theory to Practice

The Guide to Raising Basilisks

The Infernal: Creation of the Undead Legion

Blood Sacrifice for Immortality

......

These books come in all shapes and sizes, but almost all of them exude an eerie aura.

Just then, a skull-like creature emerged from a book, baring its teeth and claws as it lunged at Kane, seemingly trying to bite him.

Kane reacted quickly, slapping him away and yelling, "Get lost!"

Suddenly, Kane's eyes lit up as "The Secrets of Cutting-Edge Black Magic" appeared before him.

He quickly reached out and took the book down.

This book is somewhat different from other books.

Because it is wrapped with a tight chain.

Kane frowned and tried to unlock the chain.

"shattered to pieces"

"Fragmented"

"The Cave of Alaho"

......

Finally, Kane even tried to "stop all curses," but it was all in vain.

Kane had no choice but to give up and shift his focus to other books.

He couldn't help but curse, "Damn it! Is it really that hard to find a Fiery Blade?"

Grindelwald, hidden in the shadows, closed the book he had opened. The cover of the book prominently featured the words "Fiendfyre: From Summoning to Out of Control".

The book I was holding happened to be about Li Huo...

He narrowed his eyes slightly, his mind filled with doubt: "Why does this kid insist on learning from Li Huo?"

It should be noted that even the most ruthless dark wizards are wary of Fiend.

If this thing gets out of control, the consequences are unimaginable; at best, all property will be destroyed, and at worst, lives will be lost.

Grindelwald watched as Kane searched for the books again and again, repeatedly taking them down and opening them.

Finally, Grindelwald couldn't stand it anymore.

"thump."

Just after Kane placed the book he was holding onto the fragile bookshelf.

A book fell from the end of the bookshelf.

Kane stepped forward and immediately noticed the red cover.

Fiendfyre: From Summoning to Out of Control

"It's like finding a needle in a haystack, only to have it come to you effortlessly!"

Kane immediately opened the book.

A wave of intense heat washed over me.

The title page bears a warning written in Elvish: "Whoever learns this art will surely perish."

After achieving their goal, they quickly used magic to clean up any traces they had left in the restricted area.

Kane grumbled as he manipulated his wand to clean up.

"Who is this? Leaving all this stuff in the restricted area so late at night? Candles, quill pens—aren't they going to clean it up?"

Kane grew angrier the more he thought about it, and couldn't help but wonder: which wizard could do something so rude?

It must be that ugly freak with no nose and no eyebrows who ran into the restricted area late at night.

Thinking of this, he quickly glanced at the Marauder's Map and confirmed that Quirrell was currently in his office.

Only after confirming that everything was correct did Kane leave the penalty area with peace of mind.

After seeing Kane leave, Grindelwald dispelled his illusion spell.

He looked around and saw that Kane had cleaned everything up perfectly, and couldn't help but admire, "This kid is quite meticulous."

He then strode quickly toward Dumbledore's headmaster's office.

"Albus, guess who I just saw?"

Grindelwald had a big smile on his face.

Dumbledore said calmly, "Who else could it be? Kane, of course."

Grindelwald pursed his lips, looking helpless: "You're really no fun."

"You wouldn't be this surprised unless you saw Kane."

Upon hearing Dumbledore's words, Grindelwald rolled his eyes at him.

However, it was obvious that the other party was acting strangely.

"What's wrong, Albus? Are you in a bad mood?"

Dumbledore paused for a long time before continuing:

"I hope that child won't blame me."

"If you ask me, you're just taking on too much responsibility and it's exhausting. You should get some rest."

After saying this, Grindelwald prepared to get up and leave.

He simply couldn't stand the other party's insane plan.

Originally intended to eliminate Voldemort, it now seems more like they're creating a "savior" image.

All those professors painstakingly arranged this, just to create the image of a savior.

And even if we're going to create a savior, why not create Kane?

Instead...

"Gellert, where did you see Kane?"

Dumbledore asked as the other person was about to leave.

Upon hearing the other person mention Kane again, Grindelwald sat back down.

"Library restricted area"

Dumbledore wasn't surprised and continued, "Did he find you?"

"No, that's more of a weakness," Grindelwald paused, then continued, "He's too confident in his own judgment."

"Oh?" Dumbledore's interest was piqued.

Grindelwald chuckled and said, "He has a little gadget that's pretty good. It can see everyone's location in the school, even you. Too bad my location isn't on it. Otherwise, he definitely wouldn't have gone there tonight if he knew I was there."

Dumbledore's face fell into reminiscence, and he said regretfully, "You must be referring to the Marauder's Map, which was invented by Harry's father and his classmates. There's no denying that they were all geniuses."

Dumbledore then continued, "I saw Quirrell and Kane meet today. They seemed to have had a bit of a disagreement."

Upon hearing this, Grindelwald instantly became enraged and stood up.

"A stray dog, yet he dares to be so arrogant."

Then, as if realizing something, he calmly sat down and said, "You mean, Kane's trip to the restricted area tonight is related to Voldemort?"

Dumbledore nodded.

Grindelwald's expression suddenly dawned on him. "I knew it! No wonder that guy insisted on looking for books about Fiendfire."

"No, he wouldn't do something stupid, would he?"

As he spoke, he hurriedly stood up, wanting to go and take a look.

When Dumbledore saw the man's appearance, he realized that the composure he once possessed when leading the UMNO party was nowhere to be seen.

"Gellert, don't worry, this kid knows what he's doing."

At that moment, Kane happened to be passing by Quirrell's office.

A sly glint flashed in his eyes as he pulled five large dung balls from his pocket. A wicked smile crept across his face. "Hmph, now you know what happens when you mess with me!"

He carefully placed the dung ball at the door of Quirrell's office.

He secretly calculated that when Quirrell opened the door tomorrow, he would be completely flustered by this sudden "surprise".
