Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 32 Transformation Lesson

In the afternoon, the first class was herbalism.

They followed a short, stout witch named Sprout to the greenhouse behind the castle to study.

Professor Sprout led the group along, explaining as he went:

"The different temperatures and humidity levels in greenhouses are designed to suit the growth of different herbs."

"For example, some greenhouses are warm and humid to cultivate herbs like the devil king, which prefer dark and humid environments."

Other sunny greenhouses are used to grow herbs that require plenty of sunlight, such as lavender.

"The dragon skin protective gloves are used when handling more dangerous herbs, such as those with thorns or poison."

......

In this lesson, Professor Sprout first introduced the various classrooms and tools used in herbal medicine.

Then we learned about a few herbs that are common in both the wizarding and Muggle worlds.

This lesson was rather uneventful; if it weren't for the fact that we had to stand during class, most of the young wizards would probably have fallen asleep.

The next lesson was on the Transfiguration Charm, and Hermione followed Kane the whole way.

Because of her personality, she didn't get along very well with the girls in Gryffindor.

Kane also offered his own insightful perspective on this issue in a friendly manner.

That means first follow your own example for a while and see if you can change the way you remind others.

When Draco learned of this, he felt like the sky had fallen!

He recalled that the last time he cast a spell, Hermione corrected him no less than ten times for that gesture alone!

But with her brother standing there, she didn't dare to resist at all.

I could only keep changing my hand gestures!

I don't know how many times I've cursed Hermione in my heart!

If I let the other person continue to follow me now, I'm doomed. Won't I go deaf from their nagging?

Soon, the group arrived at the classroom where the Transfiguration Charm was used.

Although the young wizards all learned that this teacher was their school's vice principal.

But the teacher hasn't arrived yet!

So once they came in, most of them were still running around, playing and fooling around.

Of course, they all noticed that there was a spotted cat lying on the lectern.

But who would care about a harmless tabby cat?

Kane noticed the spotted cat on the podium as soon as he entered, and originally intended to go straight to his seat.

But now he changed his mind and walked toward the podium.

Some of the girls behind him thought Kane wanted to pet the cat, so they boldly followed him.

Everyone wanted to go up and indulge in petting the cats.

Suddenly, Kane stood two steps away from the podium, bowed, and said...

"Hello, Professor!"

The others didn't quite understand what Kane was doing.

Hermione and Draco were also confused, as they hadn't seen any professors there!

However, they didn't ask any questions, since they now blindly trusted Kane.

Then he followed Kane and sat down in his seat.

The little witches behind him saw Kane suddenly leave.

I was at a loss for what to do, but since I was already here, I figured I might as well touch it.

So they all stepped forward, eager to have a go at it!

But just as they stepped forward, the spotted cat leaped off the stage.

Instead, there was a white-haired witch with a serious expression.

The little witches who originally wanted to pet the cat were so scared that they couldn't move their legs.

The little wizards playing and frolicking below also noticed!

When did Professor McGonagall arrive at the classroom?

The classroom became much quieter for a moment!

"Aren't you going back?"

Professor McGonagall spoke calmly, but her stern demeanor and imposing presence intimidated the young wizards, who quickly returned to their seats.

Class started soon, and Professor McGonagall stood on the podium.

She looked at the young wizard below with a stern expression.

"I hope everyone will behave better in class from now on! Transfiguration is a profound and dangerous course!"

"If I find someone disrupting class, I will ask them to leave and forbid them from coming back!"

After explaining his rules, his stern expression vanished, replaced by joy.

"Given that Kane recognized me before class, Slytherin gets 10 points."

The other students all looked at Kane.

The Slytherin students are now completely convinced of Kane's abilities.

Kane's strength has exceeded their expectations time and time again!

Therefore, they were no longer surprised by the extra points they were giving Kane.

However, the Gryffindor students were somewhat shocked, staring intently at Kane, seemingly wondering how Kane had figured out Professor McGonagall.

"That guy must have told him by Snape!"

"I heard today that Snape is Kane and Malfoy's godfather!"

"That's why he knows so much!"

"The last time Snape called him over alone, maybe it was to tell him these things!"

Ron went straight to the direction of Gryffindor, rattling off a long string of questions.

The surrounding students all heard this and were convinced that Kane only understood because Snape had informed him beforehand.

At the same time, I feel disgusted by Kane's behavior; he truly lives up to his reputation as a cunning Slytherin.

They always try to get extra points through crooked means.

"Mr. Ron, talking loudly in class, 5 points deducted!"

It must be said that Professor McGonagall, although the head of Gryffindor...

But compared to Snape, she was truly selfless!

She deducted even the Gryffindor grades without hesitation!

Upon hearing this announcement, the surrounding Gryffindors glared angrily at Ron.

Their fiery eyes were all blaming the other person's behavior!

Professor McGonagall then demonstrated to everyone, waving her wand and transforming her podium into a huge horse.

The horse even kicked its two front hooves into the air twice.

This made the young wizards very excited about the course.

He had even imagined himself transforming his small items into all sorts of enormous things after he completed his studies.

Professor McGonagall then gave the students a lecture on Transfiguration.

It also emphasized the famous Gampe basic transformation law.

The students were all listening attentively.

Although the professor was strict, it was clear that Professor McGonagall's teaching level of Transfiguration was very high.

Professor McGonagall then emphasized the crucial role of the wand in Transfiguration, how to hold the wand correctly, and how to pronounce the spell correctly.

After the lesson, Professor McGonagall distributed matches to the young wizards.

Let them turn the matches into needles.

Almost as soon as the command was given, Kane, Hermione, and Draco completed it simultaneously in one go!

For Kane, this spell couldn't be simpler.

As for Hermione, it was because she had already practiced at home beforehand.

As for Draco, it was because of Kane's "urging" last night.

Kane asked him to turn his beloved quill into a needle!

If he can't conjure it up, then his quill pen will be blown up.

Professor McGonagall looked at the three young wizards with great delight.

His gaze swept over the needles that the three had transformed into, and he announced, "Kane, Draco, and Hermione each add 5 points to the House!"

As soon as she spoke, she seemed to realize something, her brows furrowed slightly, she shook her head, and said again, "That's not right."
