Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 200 Lost Harry

The next morning, the kitchen of the humble dwelling was filled with the distinctive pungent smell of Floo powder.

Harry stood before the fireplace, a pinch of shimmering green powder in his hand, listening intently to Mrs. Weasley's final words.

"Remember, Harry, pronounce it clearly—'Diagon Alley'!" Mrs. Weasley wiped her hands on her apron.

"Ron, you go first and set an example for Harry."

Ron shrugged, grabbed a handful of Floo Powder, and went into the fireplace.

"Watch closely, that's it—"

He sprinkled powder, and instantly a burst of emerald green flames enveloped him. "Diagon Alley!"

With a whoosh, Ron vanished.

The twins followed closely behind, deliberately making a face in the flames before disappearing.

Ginny bit her lip nervously, but with her mother's encouragement, she successfully teleported away.

"It's your turn, Harry," Mrs. Weasley said kindly.

Even though he had already seen what Ron and the others were doing, Harry was still a little nervous.

Harry took a deep breath and stepped into the still-warm fireplace.

The moment the Floo Powder was sprinkled, he felt a strange suction force rising from the soles of his feet.

"Diagonally opposite—cough cough!" Soot suddenly choked Harry, and in his panic, he bit his tongue.

Amid the swirling green flames, he felt himself being thrown into a twisted pipe.

When the spinning finally stopped, Harry stumbled and fell out of a dark fireplace.

He collapsed onto the cold floor.

His glasses and T-shirt were covered in coal dust, and his knees were scraped from the fall.

"Another lost idiot." A hoarse voice came from above.

Harry looked up and saw a dark shop through his dirty glasses.

The glass case contained disturbing items.

Shrunken human heads float in jars, a hand with too many joints crawls across a counter, and rusty instruments of torture hang from the ceiling.

It's obvious this isn't Diagon Alley.

"Bokin-Bock Store." The hunchbacked man behind the counter squinted his cloudy eyes.

"You've come to the wrong place, kid?"

Harry scrambled to his feet, his heart pounding.

He realized he must have given the wrong information about Floo's destination.

Just as he was thinking about how to answer, the shop doorbell rang, and three familiar figures walked in.

The platinum blonde hair stood out like a warning signal in the dim light.

"Good afternoon, Borgin." Lucius Malfoy's drawn-out voice sent a chill down Harry's spine. "Has the cargo I mentioned in my letter arrived?"

Draco followed behind his father, idly fiddling with a dark magic detector in a glass case.

When he looked up and saw Harry covered in soot, his grey eyes widened instantly.

"Potter?!" His voice rose in surprise. "What are you doing here?"

Lucius Malfoy slowly turned around, his long, silvery-white hair sliding down his elegant black robe.

His gaze swept over Harry with the coldness of a snake.

Then a smile, not reaching his eyes, curled up at the corner of his lips.

"Ah, Mr. Potter, Draco has been talking about you for a long time this summer." He tapped the ground lightly with his cane.

Are you lost?

Kane stepped out from behind his father and threatened, "Draco, stay away from that thing."

He slapped open a cursed box that Draco was about to touch.

"Is this Harry Potter?"

Borgin looked at Harry curiously and found that there was nothing special about him.

Harry saw Kane as if he had seen his pillar of support, and walked behind him.

"Kane, what are you doing here?"

After seeing that the group of people knew each other.

Bojin rubbed his hands together and came out from behind the counter.

He gave Lucius a bright smile.

"Mr. Malfoy, your item is in the back room. Please follow me..."

Lucius nodded, but stopped in front of Harry.

He used the tip of his cane to pick up a piece of soot from Harry's T-shirt.

He gave a friendly look and said, "Let me tidy it up for you. Make it sparkling clean."

After the spell was cast, Harry's clothes were clean.

Draco's face showed a strange expression: "Knockturn Alley isn't a place for kids, Potter. The people here will turn little wizards like you into specimens and hang them on the wall."

Harry initially didn't believe it.

Faint screams and eerie laughter came from outside the shop, reminding him that he was in a dangerous place.

He has to find a way to leave.

"I'm leaving," Harry said curtly, trying to get out of there as quickly as possible.

Lucius suddenly held his cane in front of Harry: "Don't rush off, boy."

He chuckled softly, "The Ministry of Magic has strict regulations regarding underage wizards entering places like this."

Harry looked at Kane with a puzzled expression.

Kane then spoke up in response.

"I think Harry's appearance here is purely accidental. You're going to Diagon Alley, aren't you?"

Harry nodded.

"Knockturn Alley is not a place for Hogwarts students." Kane turned to Lucius. "Father, how about I take Potter away? We can meet in Diagon Alley later."

A hint of amusement flashed in Lucius's eyes: "Go, don't let our savior be tainted by too much... an aura that doesn't suit him."

Draco looked like he wanted to protest, but shut his mouth under his father's warning look.

Kane gently nudged Harry's elbow, guiding him toward the door.

"Thank you, Kane," Harry whispered as he left the shop.

The streets of Flip-Flop Lane were even more eerie than the shops inside.

The shop windows on both sides displayed unsettling merchandise.

Most of the pedestrians on the street were wrapped in cloaks and hurried along.

Kane didn't answer, but simply led Harry quickly through the narrow alleyway.

He didn't stop until he turned a corner and made sure he was far away from Bokin-Bock.

"You shouldn't have been there, Potter."

Kane's voice was a few degrees colder than it had been in the store.

"Knockdown Alley is not a place for someone your age, especially without an adult wizard accompanying you."

Harry took off his glasses and wiped them. "I misspoke about Floo Powder's destination. It was supposed to go to Diagon Alley."

"Obviously."

Soon Kane led Harry to a wall.

After tapping the brick, Harry squinted to adjust to the sudden light.

Then a familiar scream was heard.

"Harry! Kane!"

Hermione stood on the Gringotts steps!

He glared angrily at the two people in front of him.

Harry instantly sensed something was wrong!

But he soon discovered that the other party's anger was not just because of him.

"Kane! Why haven't you replied to my letters! I wrote six letters! And you haven't replied to a single one!"

Kane was also dumbfounded, because he had not received a letter from the other party!

"I spent the entire summer in France and only recently returned. I haven't received any letters from you since."

Hermione pursed her lips, then forgave the other party for not replying.

"Alright."

Looking at the boy in front of them, the Grangers realized that this was the boy who had made their daughter talk about him over and over again during the summer vacation.

Just then, the Weasleys finally squeezed through the crowd and found them!
