Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 151 Sirius's Mission

Harry was stuffing a fried egg into his mouth when he heard this and almost choked.

He took a sip of pumpkin juice and swallowed it, then glanced hesitantly at Draco and Kane sitting at the Slytherin table.

"Kane has indeed helped me a lot, and Draco also pulled me up when I was about to fall during a Quidditch match."

Sirius's expression looked like someone had stuffed his mouth full of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans—and they even tasted like booger.

"This is terrible!"

He gasped in a low voice, a wary glint in his grey eyes, "Harry, those are Malfoys!"

"I agree with Blake's point of view," Ron immediately interjected, his ears beneath his red hair turning red with excitement.

"Especially that Kane Malfoy, he's even more annoying than Snape!"

Harry frowned.

"That's because you and Kane have a conflict. You wrongly accused Hermione that time..."

Ron's face immediately turned as red as his hair.

He muttered something about "despicable Slytherin tricks".

The sound decreased significantly as he lowered his head and began poking at the sausage in the plate.

"You can't slander Kane like that!"

Hermione looked up from her book, "Advanced Charms Theory".

It is wise to point out: "People change. And according to *Hogwarts: A History*, there have indeed been several members of the Malfoy family throughout history—"

Her words were interrupted by a sudden sound.

Albus Dumbledore entered wearing a purple robe with a star pattern.

The blue eyes behind the crescent-shaped glasses sparkled with joy.

"Ah, Sirius, I'm sorry to interrupt your gathering." Dumbledore's voice was as warm as honey.

"But I'm also glad to see that you've adapted to the breakfast atmosphere at Hogwarts so quickly."

Sirius Black immediately stood up, his expression turning serious.

"Principal, I must thank you again for everything you've done for me. Without your help, I might still be in that terrible situation—"

"No need for thanks, my dear child."

Dumbledore waved his hand gently. "However, I do have some news for you. Remus is in some... trouble. His mission in the North requires additional support."

Everyone noticed that Sirius's fingers trembled slightly when he heard Lupin's name.

"What's the trouble?" Sirius's voice suddenly became tense.

Dumbledore gave a meaningful look to the students around him who were listening intently.

"Perhaps we should go to my office to discuss this in detail?"

Harry's heart sank.

He always felt it wasn't a good thing!

But when he saw the solemn expression on the Godfather's face, he said nothing and simply stood up silently.

"Don't worry, Harry," Hermione whispered reassuringly, "it's definitely not anything dangerous."

Ron stared in Kane Malfoy's direction, who was looking at them thoughtfully with his grey-blue eyes.

"I bet it's related to the Malfoys," he muttered. "They've been acting suspiciously lately, and they're always with Snape!"

Ten minutes later, in Dumbledore's office, which was filled with a sweet scent.

Sirius received news that made his heart clench.

"Fenrir Greyback has gathered a pack of werewolves in the north."

"Remus has successfully infiltrated them," Dumbledore said calmly, gently stroking Fawkes's feathers. "But now things are getting... complicated. We need you to provide backup for him."

"Greyborough?" Sirius's voice sounded like it was being squeezed out between clenched teeth. "That beast who bit Remus?"

He remembered Lupin's agonizing transformations every full moon night, and those terrible scars.

And all of this is because of that werewolf!

"Will Lupin be in danger?" he couldn't help but ask, but before Dumbledore could answer, "When do I leave?"

"In a little while, you can go to Hogsmeade first, and then Apparate from there."

Dumbledore took a piece of parchment from the drawer. "This contains the specific contact information and the location of the safe house. Remember, Sirius, Greyback's influence is expanding in the north; you must be extremely careful."

Harry left the headmaster's office and waited for the other person outside.

Harry felt a tightness in his throat.

He had finally managed to meet his godfather, and now the other party was about to carry out some dangerous mission.

"Will...will you come back?" He tried hard to keep his voice from trembling.

Sirius immediately turned around and crouched down to be at Harry's eye level, gripping his shoulders tightly with both hands.

"Listen, Harry, I swear I'll pick you up when you get your vacation."

"Besides, this is only a temporary mission. I'll write to you using the code we agreed on, okay?"

Harry nodded, but felt his eyes welling up with tears.

He recalled the first time he met the other person, who always seemed to have a lot to say about his father!

Recalling the first time the other person saw Sirius after they were freed,

I recall the brief time they spent together at the Broken Axe Bar.

Now, he finally has a real family...

"Alright," Sirius said gently, "I think you should go back to class soon."

As they rounded the corner, they found Professor Snape standing right in front of them.

The black robe billowed behind him as usual.

"Ah, Black," Snape's voice was like poison wrapped in velvet.

"I heard you're going to embark on another...heroic adventure? How touching, leaving your godson behind to pursue thrills."

Sirius's expression immediately turned cold.

"At least I won't hide in the castle and bully students, Snape. Besides, this time it's to help Remus—"

"Lupin?"

Snape's lips twisted into a mocking smile. "Another one of those unruly raiders. I suppose you're planning to repeat your 'glorious deeds' from your school days?"

Harry saw that Sirius's hand was already gripping his wand tightly and quickly interjected, "Professor Snape, Sirius is on a mission entrusted to him by Professor Dumbledore."

Snape's dark eyes turned to Harry, as cold as a deep pool.

"What a touching defense, Potter. It seems Black really did teach you something—how to make excuses for irresponsibility."

He saw the two of them glaring at him with resentment.

Snape snorted and turned to leave, his robes billowing dramatically behind him.

"Ignore him, Harry," Sirius patted Harry on the shoulder.

Although his eyes were still sharp with anger, "That old bat has been like this since his student days."

They walked down a flight of stairs in silence until Sirius suddenly stopped.

"Listen, Harry, about those Malfoys... I might be overreacting. But remember, their family has intricate connections to the Dark Lord."
