"Rob?"

Li Ang smiled.

He turned his head and looked out at the thick darkness of the night.

"When I open my door to do business, I believe in making money through harmony."

"But what if someone tries to dine and dash, or causes trouble..."

Li Ang raised his right hand and snapped his fingers.

"I wouldn't mind crushing Apokolips."

Li Ang withdrew his hand, sat back down in the rocking chair, and picked up a comic book.

"Alright, stop worrying about useless things."

"Go and wipe the signboard at the entrance; we're sure to have a big customer coming tomorrow."

Loki pursed his lips and sheathed his dagger.

"I am a prince of Asgard, not your janitor."

"Employee contracts are written in black and white."

Li Ang didn't even look up.

"If you don't want to wipe it, I don't mind letting Grimd come out and have a chat with you."

Loki froze.

"You win."

He gritted his teeth, picked up the rag, and turned to walk towards the door.

Li Ang turned a page of the comic book, a pleased smile appearing on his face.

"This art style is getting more and more interesting."

He picked up the hot and sour soup and took another sip.

What should I eat for breakfast tomorrow?

"How about we ask Zhang Chulan to buy some steamed buns? It's been a long time since I've had any food from my hometown."

……

boom!

Loki, standing outside the shop, paused, the rag in his hand still.

He looked around and saw several dark figures at the end of the street.

Loki narrowed his eyes, a slight twitch at the corner of his lips, and without turning around to call for help, simply tossed the rag into the bucket.

"Is trouble at our doorstep?"

He casually closed the lid on the Coke bottle on the counter, turned around and walked towards the door, his movements swift and decisive.

Tony, who was eating half a cheeseburger, looked up when he saw this and asked, "Where are you going?"

"Wipe the windows and clean up the trash while you're at it." Loki waved his hand without stopping.

"I smell those idiots from Apokolips, bro, should I go smash them to pieces?"

Thor looked up from the table, his fork barely touching the table.

"Say that to me again when you're not drunk."

Loki pushed open the door, and his voice drifted back.

Outside the door, Desard stood at the front, his face devoid of any warmth, followed by more than a dozen Parademons.

"Lord Darkseid is giving you one last chance."

"Hand over the gashapon merchant, and you'll be spared!"

He glanced at the gashapon shop sign, his tone icy and hard.

"Didn't you get a good beating during the day? You want another one tonight?"

Luo Ji stood on the steps, twirling a dagger in his hand, not even glancing at him.

"You think you can escape judgment by hiding in this run-down shop?"

Desard raised his hand, and the Parademons immediately dispersed, their weapon muzzles lighting up simultaneously.

"Trial? You want to try me?" Loki laughed after hearing this.

He had barely finished speaking when he vanished from the spot.

The first Parademon had barely raised his gun when a short blade pierced his chest, killing him before he could even utter a sound.

The second Parademon turned to fire, but Loki was already behind it, crushing its energy core with a knee strike.

"Loki, you didn't even invite your guest in. Where's your manners?"

The burst of sparks illuminated the doorway, and Li Ang looked up to see outside.

"Boss, they're here to rob us, they don't deserve to come in." Loki said without turning his head.

As soon as he finished speaking, he raised his hand and waved it, and three green magic arrays unfolded in mid-air, directly locking the thrusters of the two demonoids.

The two monsters crashed into a trash can on the street before they even had a chance to get into position.

"That's quite efficient. Looks like you didn't slack off while you were gone."

Tony, who was watching the show from the sidelines, swallowed his hamburger and clapped his hands.

"Do I need to report to you?" Loki asked casually, twirling the dagger between his fingers.

Dessard's expression changed. He had thought Loki only dared to rebel because of the protection of the gashapon shop, but he didn't expect this guy to act so decisively.

"Stop putting on airs." Dessard raised his right hand, and a black beacon popped out from his palm.

"Lord Darkseid will not be afraid of your little tricks."

"I will definitely uncover the secrets behind this store."

"Are you here to scout ahead?" Loki looked at the beacon, his eyes finally showing a hint of interest.

Dessard did not answer; the beacon had already shot a red and black beam of light into the sky.

The next second, more Parademons jumped out of the aircraft and pounced directly on the gashapon shop.

"Is it my turn?"

Thor finally couldn't sit still any longer, grabbed his hammer, and was about to rush out.

"Sit down." Loki turned around and glanced at him.

"Your tone is exactly the same as when Mother scolds me."

Thor froze, his lips twitched, but he obediently put the hammer back.

"Shut up, don't steal the spotlight."

As soon as Loki finished speaking, the air on the entire street changed.

Black mist surged from his feet, spreading across the ground and dimming even the streetlights.

Diessard realized something was wrong and was about to back away when Loki raised his left hand.

"Didn't you want to see what I learned at the end of time?"

"Then look carefully."

He pressed his palm down, and the black mist suddenly split open.

A massive figure emerged from the crack, its purplish-black energy surging wildly, causing even the aircraft to lose control.

Elios.

The conqueror at the end of time.

"This is impossible! What is this thing?!"

Disadard's pupils contracted sharply, and his voice changed tone.

"A little guy." Loki smiled, his tone excessively relaxed.

Elios opened his mouth and inhaled, and the two Parademons at the front, along with their weapons, vanished completely.

There wasn't even a scream left.

The remaining Parademons began firing wildly, but the beams were pulled into the crack by the black mist as soon as they flew out, without even making a ripple.

As Dessard turned to leave, Loki pointed a finger at him.

"Don't run away."

Elios pounced and bit the tail fin of the aircraft.

The metal casing made a screeching sound and was torn in two in the blink of an eye.

Dessard scrambled out of the hatch, and as soon as he landed, Loki was already standing in front of him.

"Go back and tell Darkseid."

"If you want to cause us trouble, don't send this piece of trash."

Desard's hand veins bulged as he raised his hand to activate the teleporter hidden in his sleeve.

Loki, however, grabbed his wrist first, and slashed his neck with his dagger, leaving a very shallow line of blood.

"If you move again, I'll send you to Elios as a snack."

Cold sweat beaded on Dessard's forehead, and he finally didn't dare touch the button again.

He stared at Loki with a frighteningly sinister look in his eyes.

You'll regret it.

"If all your colleagues were trash like you, then I probably wouldn't regret it."
