"Give me that madman who turns people into toys. I guarantee he won't even have a chance to raise his hand."

Pietro did a somersault in mid-air.

"Don't underestimate him. The Joker's abilities are conceptual. If he touches you even once, it's all over."

Bruce looked at this group of overconfident guys and shook his head helplessly.

"As for Apokolips, they have the Mother Box, which is the ultimate weapon capable of reshaping the planet's ecology."

"Relax, Bat," Tony patted Bruce on the shoulder.

"Once we've cleaned up these aliens and toys, you'll have to treat us to a nice meal."

"I want a cheeseburger, the kind with double patties."

……

the other side.

The Steppenwolf was tightly bound in mid-air by the thick golden chains of the Apocalypse God.

His newly reconstructed half of his body was being continuously bombarded by two dark red beams of light from the Mother Box.

"Ahhhhh!"

A piercing scream echoed through the cabin, making the surrounding metal walls hum.

With each beam of light, his flesh was forcibly torn apart.

Then it regrows in an extremely distorted way.

"Speak louder, Steppenwolf! This is a gift from the great Darkseid!"

Dessard stood below, his hands tucked into his sleeves, his face full of mockery.

"Being able to personally experience the fundamental reshaping of the Mother Box is a blessing you've accumulated over many lifetimes."

Kalibak was carrying a heavy spiked club.

He circled the Steppenwolf, his eyes filled with cruelty.

"What a useless piece of trash. He led so many soldiers, but couldn't even take down a native planet. Instead, he got cleaved in two."

You've completely disgraced Apokolips!

Steppenwolf's muscles were frantically torn apart and reformed.

The Mother Box's energy was forcibly injected into his living battle armor.

The originally dark gray armor now gleamed with a chilling blood-red light.

His body size increased dramatically, and two rows of sharp bone spurs grew out of his back.

"Shut up, Kalibak!" Steppenwolf's veins bulged on the back of his hand as he snapped a chain.

"Those people aren't indigenous at all! They have outside support!"

"That gashapon merchant is a monster! You guys just don't understand!"

"External forces? Is that your excuse for failure?"

Disadard sneered, his eyes filled with contempt.

"No matter what it is, it is nothing but dust in the face of Apokolips's absolute power."

Dessard turned to look at the two mother boxes floating side by side on the platform.

Beneath the mother box, a huge conversion pool is boiling.

Thousands upon thousands of ordinary Parademons were pushed into the pool.

With a piercing roar, the emerging demonic form doubled in size.

Their eyes were bloodshot, their arms were equipped with energy cannons generated by the Mother Box, and their wings on their backs had become pure metal.

"Do you see that?" Dessard said in a deep voice.

"This is true power. Go and wash away your shame, Steppenwolf."

"If you still can't get the Anti-Life Equation this time, you might as well jump into the Conversion Pool yourself."

The scene shifts back to the central courtyard, Gotham City.

Tony stood in front of the giant screen in the Batcave.

He held his coffee and watched the surveillance footage with great interest.

The scene shows the downtown plaza of Gotham City.

A few reckless remaining gang members are attempting to rob a jewelry store.

They were holding heavy machine guns and firing wildly at the glass shop windows.

The sharp sound of shattering glass was particularly jarring on the empty street.

Before they could even put the jewelry in their pockets...

A group of plastic soldiers dressed in pink ballet tutus descended from the sky.

The gangsters immediately turned their guns and opened fire.

The dense bullets hit the plastic soldier, but didn't even leave a white mark.

The plastic soldier walked forward with comical steps.

They raised their miniature batons and tapped them lightly on the gangsters' ankles.

Less than three seconds.

The gangsters disappeared.

Several miniature wind-up toys dressed in striped prison uniforms and with their hands cuffed appeared on the ground.

The little plastic soldier skillfully tossed the wind-up toy into the toy recycling bin next to it.

Then they continued their patrol in orderly steps.

"That's amazing." Tony took a sip of his coffee.

"Even Stark Industries' security system isn't this efficient. This Joker is a management genius."

"This is stripping away one's will." Bruce clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking.

"He erased the definition of these people's existence and turned them into mindless puppets."

"What's even more terrifying is that those who are transformed will also lose all their memories of themselves in this world."

"It's pretty perverted." Pietro leaned against the wall, biting on a lollipop.

"But the street scene does look much better than before; at least there's no litter on the ground."

Steve's expression was serious, and his eyes showed worry.

"We cannot let this continue; depriving people of their freedom is worse than killing them."

A crack appeared in the sky above Gotham Square.

Dark red beams of teleportation light pierced down from the clouds, densely packed, like a leaky ceiling.

The entire army of Parademon emerged.

They roared as they swooped down, the gusts of air from their flapping wings overturning newsstands on the street.

The metallic wings reflected a blinding light under the streetlights, and the shoulder-mounted energy cannons began to charge, their crimson aiming lights illuminating the entire square.

This batch is different from the last one.

It was a whole size bigger, with weapon modules welded onto its arms by the mother box.

The wings on its back are made of pure alloy, and each one exudes a ferocious aura enhanced by the conversion pool.

The lead Parademon had just landed, its claws not yet digging into the asphalt.

A tiny plastic soldier dressed in a pink ballet tutu emerged from behind a trash can, raised its miniature baton, and gently tapped its ankle.

despair.

The Apokolips elite Parademons, standing two and a half meters tall and exuding an aura of hell, suddenly developed a strange plastic-like texture on their bodies.

It roared with its mouth open halfway through.

Bang.

A palm-sized green wind-up frog appeared on the ground.

A brass key was stuck in its back, and its two hind legs were still mechanically pedaling.

The second Parademon, seeing its companion vanish into thin air, flapped its wings and fired an energy cannon at the plastic soldier.

boom!

When the smoke and dust from the explosion cleared, the plastic soldier was completely still, without even a scorch mark on his body.

It tilted its head, walked forward with comical steps, and tapped its baton again.

despair.

Another wind-up frog.

Inside the bat cave, everyone stared at the main screen.

Silence reigned.

In the scene, the Parademons that emerged from the teleportation beams landed and were immediately surrounded by the toy army that had been lying in ambush in every corner of the plaza.

The Nutcracker squad burst out from behind the flowerbed, the Teddy Bear commando team emerged from the sewers, and even the plastic unicorns on the carousel jumped down to join the battle.

Every encounter yielded the same result.

Ta-ta-ta-ta-ta.

Wind-up frogs were scattered all over the ground.

Some are green, some are pink, and a few are fluorescent yellow.

They were huddled together, the copper keys jamming against each other, making a dense, clicking sound.
