This is unrelated to the main text; it's just an explanation of why the updates have been unstable lately. If you don't want to read it, you can ignore it. It won't be suspended forever; this chapter will be added to the main text tomorrow or the day after.

------

Those who have been following my updates should know that I recently successfully graduated from being a "clear-headed and foolish" college student and upgraded to a glorious reserve "cow" (´・ω・`).

Graduation season is so busy! Getting internship stamps, dealing with the counselor's relentless calls about employment targets, selling secondhand books and odds and ends, packing and shipping luggage, moving—it's incredibly hectic! (´- 灬-『)

So after getting my diploma, I went home and lay down for a few days to rest and recuperate. Then I looked for potential jobs, made my resume, submitted it, and prepared for interviews, etc. ╮(︶﹏︶)╭

The reason I insist on updating a little bit every day is because I'm worried that my loyal readers might think I've run away. After all, some of you might know about Yang Shizi's recent antics; quite a few authors have gone off the rails, which has been quite exhausting for me (╯-_-)╯╧╧

However, I won't abandon the book and run away. After all, this work has taken a lot of my effort and brought me a lot of joy. For a long time, the thing I looked forward to most every day was opening the comments section and reading everyone's comments. They were wonderful and interesting, hehe §( ̄▽ ̄)§

But now that I've graduated, I'm no longer a student relying on my family for living expenses; I have to support myself. Just relying on writing novels... won't do (T▽T)

The original plan was perfect. On the day I was supposed to start the make-up chapter mode, I planned to look for a job while writing the novel.

I thought it would be similar to balancing classes and internships with writing a novel, or even just submitting resumes, going to interviews, and waiting for responses. If I only interviewed with one or two companies a day, I might have more time to write! (❁´◡`❁)*✲゚*

But as it turns out, I had oversimplified things.

Finding a job is so hard! (*+﹏+*)~

Every day I frantically refresh various job search apps, looking at all sorts of "weird" jobs. I finally find a few that seem decent, schedule an interview, and then start to feel anxious again.

I was terrified of performing poorly, forgetting my lines during the self-introduction, and getting stage fright. I was incredibly nervous. After my first interview, I was completely exhausted, both physically and mentally. I couldn't even remember what I said. I'm so ashamed of myself! ε(┬┬﹏┬┬)3

After doing more interviews and becoming more skilled, I started to feel anxious again, afraid of failing and afraid of succeeding. Everything felt uncertain...

I discovered that I simply couldn't do what I did in my student days: balance studying and writing novels, arrange them clearly, ensure they didn't interfere with each other, and even make them mutually beneficial.

Lately, when I'm brainstorming chapter ideas, I inexplicably think about things like, "Will I be nervous and show weakness during my job interview tomorrow?", "What should I say if the interviewer asks me something?", "What questions should I ask and how should I ask them?", and so on.

While browsing job postings and taking various modes of transportation to prepare for interviews, I would think about how I wrote fewer chapters yesterday, how the pacing was off, how I was always letting down the readers who had been following my updates, and how I should revise things once I found a job and settled down.

The result was that I didn't do well on either end, and I was in a terrible state, both physically and mentally exhausted. My hair was falling out in clumps, and I felt like I was going bald. (」゜ロ゜)」

Unable to multitask, I struggled for a long time before finally deciding, after discussing it with my family, to prepare for various exams while continuing to write my novel, putting aside my urgent job search for the time being.

After all, you have to do something well first. If society is too restless and jobs are too hard to find, then take some time to calm yourself down.

Moreover, I simply can't let go of this novel that I poured so much effort into, and even more so, I can't let go of my lovely readers who have always supported me ( *︾▽︾)

So keep going!

Here, I sincerely admire all those who have been able to settle themselves and make peace with themselves.

Everyone who lives their life earnestly every day is a wonderful and remarkable person!

Finally, thank you all for your support. I'll resume my previous update schedule tomorrow or the day after.

Then, I'll probably reorganize the previous content. If I have time, I might write a short side story or an "IF" storyline and put it in that short chapter. If you're interested, you can go back and take a look. Consider it compensation for everyone's patience during this time.

Love you all! o(^▽^)o
