Chang Xi's eyes darted around. "Of course, but we'd like to exchange something with you."

"Go ahead and say it."

Chang Xi and Yan Feishuang returned with three tents and a cartload of food.

Hao Ren miscalculated; he didn't expect there to be people on the island, and they were even acquaintances.

[What a coincidence that Chang Xi used the treasure map given to him by Correa to exchange for three days' accommodation and food.]

Hao Ren was annoyed. How could he have known that there was an archaeological team in such a desolate place, and that Chang Xi had something to trade with?

Huo Dongjun and the others were called back to help set up the tent.

Lu Wenli returned carrying several large fish. "Master, well done! We'll have silver cod for dinner tonight!"

Chang Xi's eyes widened. How could such an expensive deep-sea fish possibly exist on this tiny, run-down island?

A lot of effort was put into the water glass.

Shui Liuli felt a little guilty and avoided Chang Xi's gaze.

Lu Wenli blurted out, "You guys don't know, Xiao Shui is amazing! He caught all of these in the sea!"

Huo Dongjun concealed the surprise in his eyes, "Really impressive."

Isn't silver cod a cold-water, deep-sea fish? I remember it being more common in places like the Arctic and Antarctic.

I guess I was lucky.

That's really great!

Chang Xi thought of the archaeological team, "Why don't you two take two [items] to the archaeological team? They gave us a lot of things. Let Hongyan take you there."

She only provided a picture of a treasure map.

"Alright, let's go, Xiao Shui," Lu Wenli said, driving him away.

With wisps of smoke rising from the chimneys, it really does feel like a camping trip.

Changxi sat cross-legged on the rocks by the shore, enjoying the sea breeze and the aroma of delicious food. How wonderful!

Wow, men who can cook are so handsome!

[Mr. Huo's technique is so professional, it's like he's been doing this for many years.]

How can a man be so elegant in public, so capable in the kitchen, so valiant in battle against demons and monsters, and so handsome all at the same time?

Seeing that it was almost ready, Huo Dongjun said, "Chang Xi, come and eat."

Chang Xi teleported and appeared beside him.

Huo Dongjun was startled by the person who suddenly appeared beside him. "Was there really a need to be in such a hurry?"

"It smells so good!" Chang Xi exclaimed, tears welling up in her eyes. "Let's eat!"

"Wait," Huo Dongjun stopped her, "Lu Wenli and the others haven't returned yet."

Chang Xi pursed his lips.

Yan Feishuang glanced at her watch, finding it odd. "That's strange. The archaeological team is less than half an hour away from us, and it's been an hour and a half already. Why haven't Lu Wenli and the others returned yet?"

Shen Kongming wondered, "Could it be that the archaeological team invited them to stay for dinner?"

"Why don't we just ask the viewers in the live stream?" Chang Xi opened his phone and entered the live stream.

[I could see them; they returned an hour ago and have been on the road the whole time.]

It feels like they've been open for ages.

"What's going on?" Chang Xi typed.

[Chang: Lu Wenli, where have you guys been? You've been driving for so long, you could have circled the island twice by now!]

Lu Wenli also found it strange, "Master, is the address you gave us wrong? Why does it feel like the way back is so long? It's already dark."

A dark shadow flashed past behind them.

A hand with sharp nails and a bluish-gray color landed on Lu Wenli's shoulder.

Lu Wenli was getting impatient. "Xiao Shui, stop fooling around."

Shui Liuli: "..."

Is something wrong with him? What's he doing?

Chang Xi sighed.

[Chang: Or, why don't you two look behind you?]

Shui Liuli relayed, "Look ahead."

As Lu Wenli drove, he turned around and saw a pale, ashen face pressed against his shoulder.

"ah--"

"Holy crap, what the hell is that?!"

[Yan: Haha, congratulations on finding a zongzi!]

[Is this a ghost? Is it really a rice dumpling?]

What is a zongzi?

[I didn't know, he also has another name: Zombie!]

They're finished.

Shui Liuli read out the comments on her phone.

Lu Wenli panicked even more, "Quick, quick, I have a talisman in my pocket."

Shui Liuli took a yellow talisman out of his pocket and stuck it on the zombie's head.

He froze instantly and fell off the car.

Before they could even catch their breath, the yellow talisman on the zombie's head spontaneously combusted.

He stood up abruptly, his eyes darting around before fixing on them again.

Shui Liuli was dumbfounded. "Who drew this talisman?"

"I drew it," Lu Wenli said.

Shui Liuli wanted to strangle him. "You idiot, why are you carrying talismans you drew yourself? Don't you know your own limitations?"

"How did I know this would happen? It's because I always carry my practice with me."

The two looked at each other and howled.

"Master, help me!"

"Chang Xi, help me!"

[Chang: Stop calling, we're on our way.]

[Yan: Be careful not to get bitten!]

The zombie leaped three feet away; their beat-up little car couldn't outrun it at all.

In less than half a minute, the zombies jumped in front of them and blocked their way.

Lu Wenli immediately turned the car around and drove back.

Another female zombie caught up from behind.

There are wolves in front and tigers behind.

Lu Wenli hugged Shui Liuli tightly, extremely nervous.

Red Flame aimed its fire at the two zombies, but they easily dodged it.

What kind of breed is this? It's so intelligent!

"Help!" Red Flame only had these two tricks up its sleeve. It flapped its wings and flew high into the air to avoid being slapped to death by the zombie.

In her panic, Shui Liuli stammered, "Mi ney engur lugal, kaku benui!"

"What are you saying?" Lu Wenli couldn't understand a word.

"Lower your head!"

It's Chang Xi's voice! There's hope!

Lu Wenli pressed Shui Liuli's head down and then squatted down.

The Demon Slayer arrived with a swift strike, severing the heads of two zombies. What gushed from their severed necks was not blood, but a viscous, dark green liquid.

Lu Wenli let out a long breath and patted Shui Liuli's hands that were wrapped around his waist. "Let go, you're choking me."

Shui Liuli quickly let go, still shaken.

Yan Feishuang squatted down next to the zombie, her eyes fixed on one direction.

"This rice dumpling actually seems to have developed its own consciousness, almost like a living person," Yan Feishuang said, a sudden worry creeping into her mind as she witnessed something like this for the first time. "Could something have happened to the archaeological team?"

"Let's go take a look."

Seven people and a bird hid on a nearby hillside, looking down.

The archaeological team's encampment was cordoned off, and the team, including Ji Rufeng, was tied up in a corner.

"Master, what's going on?"

Gu Qingfeng rolled her eyes at him. "Do you even need to ask? They were robbed. The archaeological team has all been tied up."

"This is a big problem," Chang Xi clicked his tongue lightly. "These guys have the truth in their hands."

Gu Qingfeng asked curiously, "Can't you fight back with a gun?"

Chang Xi was speechless and choked with emotion. "Isn't that obvious? No matter how good your kung fu is, you're still afraid of a kitchen knife."

Huo Dongjun frowned. "They seem to be tomb raiders."

"Your family's old profession," Chang Xi nudged Yan Feishuang.

Yan Feishuang disdained to associate with them, saying, "We are law-abiding citizens, employed by the state since the Three Kingdoms period, unlike those who privately rob tombs."

Shen Kongming: "What do we do now? Call the police?"
