Entertainment to the death, make a tokusatsu film that will crush the entire internet.

Land of Light Music Group, Independent Recording Studio.

Although Hu Pangbin reeked of alcohol, he stood obediently in front of Yang Qian.

His hands unconsciously rubbed the hem of his clothes, just like a primary school student waiting for the teacher to correct his homework.

Yang Qian didn't speak, but simply wore the monitoring headphones quietly with her eyes closed.

When the song ended, Yang Qian took off her headphones.

"Director Yang, how is it?"

Hu Pangbin asked somewhat nervously.

Yang Qian nodded and gave a two-word evaluation.

"good."

It's more than just good.

Perhaps it's because of Hu Pangbin's own experiences.

His rendition of "Moonlight" not only perfectly replicated the original's three-syllable eighteen-tone scale in terms of technique.

It also incorporates a sense of vicissitude that the original version lacked.

In some aspects of its artistic conception, this version of "Moonlight" even surpasses the classic version that Miriam Yeung remembers.

"call!"

Hu Pangbin let out a long sigh of relief.

A look of relief crossed his face.

"That's great...that's great..."

For this song, he spent almost all his time in the recording studio, apart from handling the daily work of the music team.

Those three words are like an insurmountable mountain.

No matter how he adjusted his breathing or changed his singing style, he was always just a little bit off.

Either the emotion is lacking, or the technique is awkwardly connected, or the voice cracks.

Countless attempts, countless failures.

So, he set it up today.

I bought a few bottles of beer at a small supermarket outside the park, and drank them alone in the music group's lounge with some peanuts.

Gulp, gulp, gulp, several bottles down.

Slightly tipsy, the resentment in my heart grew stronger.

Why can't you sing it?

Hu Pangbin was a top-tier singer-songwriter in the Chinese music scene back then. His vocal range, technique, and musicality were all excellent.

Fueled by alcohol, he staggered back into the recording studio.

As a result, Hu Pangbin, in a slightly tipsy state, seemed to have divine assistance.

All the worries that usually plagued me were melted away by the relaxation brought on by alcohol at this moment.

In this way, he completed the recording of the entire song "Moonlight" in one go.

Skill and emotion, both are present.

He also mastered the three characters and eighteen tones with ease.

That led to the earlier scene where he excitedly slammed the door.

After hearing the whole story, Yang Qian suddenly understood.

It turned out to be the case.

It turns out that the wine was meant to enhance the singing.

Sometimes, an extreme artistic breakthrough does indeed require an unconventional catalyst.

but……

Yang Qian's smile faded slightly as he looked at Hu Pangbin.

"Fat Bin, you're drinking during work hours."

Hu Pangbin's smile froze instantly: "!!!"

"Director Yang, please let me explain, I am..."

"Drinking alcohol is not allowed during work hours; this is a matter of principle."

Yang Qian interrupted him.

"Although the Land of Light offers generous benefits and a relaxed work environment, there are certain rules that are red lines that no one can cross."

Hu Pangbin opened his mouth, but ultimately lowered his head.

"Yes, Director Yang, I broke the rules, and I am willing to accept any punishment."

He knew Yang Qian was right.

In today's incident, he did indeed violate the rules first.

If you make an exception just because you're the music team leader or because you've recorded a good piece of work.

Then the company's rules become meaningless.

"Um."

Yang Qian nodded.

"Your performance bonus is cancelled this month, and your salary is halved. Go back and write a thorough self-criticism, and hand it in to me tomorrow."

Hu Pangbin felt a chill run down his spine.

The Land of Light offers very generous performance bonuses and top-tier salaries in the industry.

This fine will amount to a large sum of money.

Director Yang is really angry this time.

"Yes, Director Yang, I will definitely reflect deeply on my actions."

"in addition."

Yang Qian paused.

Hu Pangbin held his breath.

Does Director Yang intend to take this song back?

Or should we restrict his singing?

Although it was regrettable, he could understand.

After all, this is the theme song for a key project of the Land of Light.

Its commercial value is immeasurable, so Director Yang's caution is understandable.

"The song 'Moonlight' is now yours; you have free access to perform it."

"Even if you use it to hold concerts, release albums, or do commercial performances, you don't need to go through the Kingdom of Light for authorization."

Hu Pangbin looked at Yang Qian in disbelief.

"Director Yang? What did you say?"

He understood the value of the song "Moonlight" better than anyone else.

Once released as an animation, it will undoubtedly become a classic, with immeasurable commercial value!

Director Yang just gave it to me like that?

"What, didn't you hear me?"

Yang Qian smiled and teased.

"I don't have many songs, this is the only one I have, I'll give it to you."

He wondered if he was still drunk and was hallucinating.

"No! No!"

Hu Pangbin waved his hands repeatedly, his voice choked with emotion.

"Director Yang, you're just giving me the future value of this song like this? This won't do, it's too precious!"

"It's yours."

"However, the Land of Light still retains the highest copyright to this song and the perpetual right to use it in related anime works."

Yang Qian remained calm.

"How you use it is your prerogative, and I trust you can handle it well."

Yang Qian knew in her heart that this song originally belonged to Hu Pangbin.

Now that it has been returned to its rightful owner, it's simply a matter of going with the flow.

Moreover, given the difficulty of singing this song, apart from Hu Pangbin who is breaking through his own limits at this moment, there are really very few people who can perfectly handle it.

As for punishment, each matter should be addressed separately. Violations should be punished, and merits should be rewarded; these are not contradictory.

"Director Yang..."

Hu Pangbin's nose tingled, and his eyes instantly reddened.

He was once ridiculed by the entire internet, abandoned by capital, and dragged to the bottom by his ex-girlfriend, but he did not cry;

He didn't cry even after failing repeatedly in the recording studio and singing until his voice was hoarse and he lost his voice.

But at this moment, faced with Yang Qian's unreserved trust and gift, he could no longer hold back, and tears welled up in his eyes.

This kindness of being recognized and appreciated, this timely help...

Hu Pangbin has sold his life, his very existence, to the Land of Light and to Director Yang!

"Alright, gentlemen, stop getting sentimental."

Yang Qian waved her hand.

"You should just leave work today. You've already been punished, there's no point in continuing to work."

"Go back and get some rest, sober up, and write your report."

"Alright! Director Yang, I'll pack my things and get out of here right now!"

Hu Pangbin nodded vigorously and turned to leave.

Yang Qian: "..."

There's no need to do that.

"etc."

Yang Qian called out to him.

"Director Yang, is there anything else you need?"

Hu Pangbin quickly turned around.

"Make sure you exercise more often."

Yang Qian gave her instructions.

"Make sure to exercise your body regularly, especially your lung capacity and core strength."

Yang Qian reminded her.

"Songs like 'Moonlight' require a lot of physical strength. You can still push yourself when you're young, but when you get older, technique alone won't be enough."

Hu Pangbin felt a warmth in his heart; Director Yang was concerned about his long-term development!

He nodded emphatically.

"Understood! Director Yang, I will definitely stick to the training!"

Yang Qian watched Hu Pangbin's departing figure with a sense of melancholy.

If you don't practice now, you might not be able to sing even if you clench your buttocks tightly when you get older.

But...

"Moonlight" is complete.

So, it's time for the "Qin's Moon" series, which carries this theme song, to unveil its secrets.

The 3D arena battle between "Lolo's Adventure" and "Dragon Domain" is still fierce.

Tencent Video, with its powerful technology and distribution channels, has indeed put considerable pressure on Tencent Video.

One isn't enough?

Let's add another "Qin's Moon" series then.

One of the Ultra Warriors' fighting principles: When you have the numerical advantage, never hesitate to solve the problem with a righteous brawl.

No problem.

……

The next day, in the morning.

Yang Qian had just arrived at her office and hadn't even had time to make tea when there was a knock on the door.

"Enter."

The person who pushed open the door was Dumpling, who had been missing for a long time.

This is another core director of the Land of Light's special effects department.

Since finishing filming "Armor Hero Nawa", he has been working on the production of "Kamen Rider Ryuki".

He almost never appears at the company.

"Director Yang, filming for 'Kamen Rider Ryuki' has wrapped up. The rough cut of the first 10 episodes and the post-production special effects are all complete."

He placed a portable hard drive on Yang Qian's desk.

"So fast?"

Yang Qian was somewhat surprised.

Filming "Dragon Rider" was quite challenging, involving numerous knight battles and a mirror world setting. He originally thought it would take at least another half month.

"Um."

Dumpling nodded, a look of emotion on her face.

"Actually, even I didn't expect that the tokusatsu crew of the Land of Light could work so hard when logistics and overtime pay were at their maximum."

He continued with his感慨 (feelings/reflections).

"Director Yang, in other film crews I used to work overtime, but that kind of overtime was a waste of time, a dragging out of the process, inefficient and frustrating."

"But it's different in the Land of Light. Everyone there genuinely wants to make good things, and they know that doing so will definitely bring rewards."

"Overtime pay is generous, logistical support is adequate, project bonuses are transparent, and there are even profit sharing if the work becomes popular."

"In this state, one person's efficiency is equivalent to that of three people under normal circumstances."

Yang Qian listened quietly, understanding the situation.

This is the studio ecosystem he wants to create.

Earn your employees' enthusiasm and creativity through reasonable compensation and respect.

"Thanks for your hard work."

Yang Qian patted Jiaozi on the shoulder.

"I will watch the sample video as soon as possible."

"Notify the entire crew that the wrap-up bonus and paid leave should be arranged immediately."

"You all get some rest. We'll discuss the follow-up promotion and release plans later."

"Yes! Thank you, Director Yang!"

Dumpling happily agreed, and her steps were much lighter as she turned to leave.

Yang Qian connected the hard drive to the computer and opened the sample file of the first episode of "Kamen Rider Ryuki".

……

Wu Dashan, in the office of Lizi Entertainment, subconsciously tightened his suit jacket.

He muttered to himself, "Strange, is the air conditioner/heating system broken?"

What was laid out in front of me was the "Special Effects Project Proposal for Mythical Beasts from the Classic of Mountains and Seas (Third Edition)".

He believes that combining traditional culture with tokusatsu (special effects) is a promising direction.

Meanwhile, at the headquarters of Tencent Video, Wisteria was reviewing a promotional video proposal when she suddenly shivered for no apparent reason.

She frowned and glanced at the air vents of the central air conditioning.

The temperature setting is normal.

Wisteria shook her head and put down the promotional video proposal.

"At your age, is it really necessary to come out and run business deals?"

"The game department is really something, why did they have to hire such washed-up old actors to shoot promotional videos?"
