Entertainment to the death, make a tokusatsu film that will crush the entire internet.

"What kind of nonsense is this, turning on all the school lights? Is this the power of money? I'm in awe! The heiress of the Daidouji Group is terrifyingly wealthy!"

#KnowledgeableMoneyPower# (Third on trending topics)

#MenShouldWatchCardcaptor Sakura# (Fifth on the trending topics list)

This even spawned the "Cardcaptor Sakura Imitation Contest".

Netizens started cosplaying as Sakura, uploading videos of themselves draped in bed sheets and chanting spells, easily racking up over a million views.

……

Tanuki Entertainment.

Wu Dashan recalled that when he saw the popularity of "The Promise Under the Stars", he was also tempted to let Lizi Entertainment also get involved in the female-oriented market.

Fortunately, the handling of the aftermath of the "Star Warrior" scandal kept us from officially launching the project.

Otherwise, facing a monster like Cardcaptor Sakura now, they probably wouldn't even know how they died.

Wu Dashan opened the internal address book.

"The second season of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' is on hold for now and will be reassessed."

"Also, find that proposal we discussed before about 'exploring traditional cultural elements to create unique special effects films,' and we'll have a meeting to discuss it tomorrow morning."

He finally understood.

Going head-to-head with Ah-Guang on the same track is pure suicide.

The only way out is to find another way.

To do things that the Land of Light hasn't done yet, or that it's not good at.

……

The next day, at the Land of Light Animation Studio.

Yang Qian sat in her office, with the tablet in front of her displaying real-time data for "Cardcaptor Sakura".

Su Xiaoran stood to the side, her face unable to hide her excitement.

"Director Yang, the data is phenomenal! After the second episode aired, the rating rose to 9.4, and the number of views has already exceeded 15 million!"

"We occupied four of the top ten spots on the trending topics lists of major social media platforms!"

"And the Cardcaptor Sakura impersonation contest—the total views for related videos have already surpassed ten million!"

Yang Qian nodded, her expression calm.

"Yes, as expected."

He closed the data page and opened another file.

"Xiao Ran, pass on the word: the development of Cardcaptor Sakura merchandise can begin."

"For the first batch of products, we'll make three items."

"Sakura's magic wand keychain, Kero's life-size plush toy, and a physical card set of Clow Cards."

Su Xiaoran quickly picked up her tablet to take notes.

"Okay! I'll arrange it right away! As for pricing..."

"Keychain 5.9 yuan, Kero doll 19.9 yuan, Clow Card set 9.9 yuan."

Su Xiaoran quickly wrote it down, but still couldn't help asking.

"Director Yang, should we only make the three Clow Card decks that have been released so far: 'Wind,' 'Soar,' and 'Shadow,' or...?"

"Do the full package."

Yang Qian said.

"The full set?"

Su Xiaoran was taken aback.

"But there are still so many Clow Cards that haven't appeared in the anime..."

"Let's start with the basic set, which includes the three cards that have already appeared, as well as the card box and instruction manual."

Yang Qian explained.

"As the anime progresses, for each new Clow Card that appears, a corresponding expansion pack will be released and sold separately, priced at 0.5 yuan per pack."

Su Xiaoran's eyes lit up.

"An expansion pack model? This would lower the initial barrier to entry and continuously stimulate consumption. Director Yang, this is a brilliant idea!"

She quickly took notes, then thought of something else.

"By the way, Director Yang, Teacher Yuhua came to see you this afternoon and said that Teacher Tiesheng has accepted the job offer and will be able to come over next week to complete the formalities."

"Also, Mr. Hu Pangbin asked me to tell you that he has recorded a demo of 'Moonlight' and asked when you would have time to go to the music group to listen to it."

Yang Qian thought for a moment.

Tell Pang Bin that I'll be going to the music group at 10 a.m. tomorrow.

"As for Teacher Yuhua..."

He smiled.

"On the day Teacher Tiesheng officially joins the company, I will personally welcome them and treat both of them to a meal."

"OK!"

Su Xiaoran made a note of it and was about to leave when Yang Qian called her back.

"There's one more thing."

"Please speak."

"Inform Chen Yi that the production schedule for 'Cardcaptor Sakura' can be slowed down appropriately. Just ensure a stable update of two episodes per day. There's no need to rush it."

Yang Qian said calmly.

"The 2D team's focus will now shift to the new project."

Su Xiaoran nodded: "Understood, I'll go and pass it on right away."

She left the office with her tablet, gently closing the door behind her.

Yang Qian sat alone in her office.

He brought up the system panel and glanced at it.

【Malignant cell erosion level: 35.3%】

It decreased by another 0.2%.

The positive emotional impact of Cardcaptor Sakura is continuously being transformed into system rewards.

Although the reduction is small each time, it adds up.

More importantly, the process of "using his work to convey joy and heal hearts" itself makes him feel fulfilled.

He closed the panel and opened another encrypted folder.

Inside are script outlines for several new projects.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Steins;Gate

CLANNAD

Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

These are all works he redeemed from the system's points shop.

Some are therapeutic, some are depressing.

Some stories recount the price of miracles, while others explore the choices made in life.

Some are about family and growth, some are about friendship and farewell.

"Magical girl..."

Yang Qian's gaze lingered on the title of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica," and a slight smile appeared on her lips.

"It doesn't just have one appearance."

……

The next day, at nine o'clock in the morning.

Yang Qian found Yu Hua in the 2D animation department's office.

This literary giant was leaning against the sofa by the window, holding a set design book of "Rainbow Cat and Blue Rabbit Seven Heroes" in his hands, reading it with great interest.

"Teacher Yuhua."

Yang Qian walked over.

"Oh, Xiao Yang is here."

Yu Hua put down the setting book, pushed up her glasses, and smiled.

"You have created a very interesting martial arts world in 'Rainbow Cat.' The line 'The greatest heroes are those who serve their country and its people' is well-written."

"You're too kind."

Yang Qian sat down opposite him and handed him a printed document.

"Teacher Yuhua, this is the script for the new episode. We need your help to make some adjustments."

Yu Hua took the document and glanced at the title.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica (First Draft)

"Magical girl?"

Yu Hua raised an eyebrow.

"Like Cardcaptor Sakura?"

He also took some time to watch "Cardcaptor Sakura" yesterday, and it is indeed an excellent work suitable for all ages.

The art style is adorable, the story is heartwarming, the characters are vivid, and the magic setting is interesting.

As long as it maintains this level of quality, the Land of Light's dominant position in the girls' anime genre is practically a done deal.

but……

Adjusting the magical girl script?

Yu Hua raised her head and looked at Yang Qian.

"Xiao Yang, this kind of healing, beautiful, and childlike animation script doesn't seem to be my forte."

He was telling the truth.

"When I write, I'm used to digging deep, looking into the shadows, and exploring the complexities of human nature."

"You want me to adjust this kind of bright and cheerful magical girl story? I'm afraid I'll end up making it dark."

Yu Hua thought for a moment and then added.

"This style is actually more suitable for Tiesheng."

Oh, I almost forgot, Tiesheng recently got injured while playing football.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have to start work next week.

Yang Qian smiled but did not respond directly. She simply said...

"Teacher Yuhua, you might want to take a look at the script first."

"This magical girl is quite different from Cardcaptor Sakura."

"Not quite the same?"

Yu Hua became interested.

"What else could be different about magical girls?"

He opened the script.

"Twelve episodes?"

Yu Hua was somewhat surprised.

"So little? That's not like you."

Previous works in Land of Light often started with twenty or thirty episodes.

Even the shortest series, such as "Go Master" and "EVA," have twenty-six episodes.

This is the first short story in the Land of Light's catalog of works that consists of twelve episodes.

Ten minutes later.

Yu Hua looked at Yang Qian with considerable admiration.

Well, kid, I didn't expect you to like burying knives too.

The future looks promising.
