In the evening, Yang Guo was leaning against the headboard with his eyes closed, resting.

Although the toxins in my body have been expelled, my meridians are still quite damaged, and I still feel somewhat drowsy at the end of the day.

The faint chirping of birds came from outside the window, and the footsteps of servants could be heard in the distance; everything seemed so peaceful.

Suddenly, he sensed something and opened his eyes.

At the entrance, a figure dressed in white stood quietly.

Little Dragon Girl.

She arrived at some point, and it's unclear when or how long she's been standing there.

The afterglow of the setting sun fell upon her, gilding her cool and aloof face with a faint golden hue, yet it could not conceal the complex emotions in her eyes.

Yang Guo's heart skipped a beat.

Their eyes met, and they remained silent for a moment.

After a long while, Xiaolongnu slowly walked to the bedside and sat down in the chair.

She moved very gently, as if afraid of disturbing him.

"Are you badly injured?" she asked, her voice as cold as ever.

Yang Guo shook his head: "The poison has been forced out; he'll be fine after a few days of rest."

Little Dragon Girl nodded and said nothing more.

Silence fell in the room.

Looking at her cool profile, Yang Guo felt a mix of emotions welling up inside him.

There are so many things I want to say—I want to ask her where she's been all this time, I want to ask her why she left without saying goodbye, I want to ask her…

But a thousand words were stuck in my throat, and I didn't know where to begin.

Little Dragon Girl did not say anything.

She just sat there quietly, her gaze fixed on the window, as if watching the sunset, or as if she wasn't looking at anything at all.

As the sunlight gradually slanted westward, the room grew darker and darker.

Just then, the door creaked open.

Guo Fu brought in a bowl of hot soup, and when she saw Xiaolongnu, she stopped abruptly.

The hot soup in the bowl sloshed and almost spilled.

The two women looked at each other.

A spark seemed to flash in the air.

Guo Fu bit her lip, forcing herself to look away, and walked to the bedside, placing the soup on the small table by the bedside.

Her movements were light, yet somewhat stiff.

"Brother Yang," she said softly, trying to keep her voice calm, "this is ginseng soup that Mother asked me to make. Drink it while it's hot."

"Okay." Yang Guo nodded.

Guo Fu, however, did not leave.

She stood by the bed and looked at Xiaolongnu.

Little Dragon Girl was also looking at her.

Neither of the two women spoke.

Yang Guo's head is getting bigger again.

Guo Fu seemed to have sensed Yang Guo's predicament and broke the silence first.

She took a deep breath and tried to make her tone sound calm: "Miss Long, thank you for coming to visit Brother Yang."

Little Dragon Girl looked at her, her gaze still cold: "No need."

Guo Fu felt a little guilty under her gaze, but stubbornly refused to look away.

She suddenly recalled how pathetic she had been yesterday in the martial arts arena, unable to withstand even a single move from her, and her feelings became even more complicated.

But she did not back down.

She walked to Yang Guo's bedside, sat down naturally, and gently took his hand.

This gesture carries a sense of asserting sovereignty, yet it is not overtly aggressive.

Yang Guo felt the warmth of her palm and squeezed it back slightly.

Guo Fu felt a warmth in her heart and gained more courage.

She looked at Little Dragon Girl and said earnestly, "Miss Dragon, yesterday... it was my fault. I shouldn't have run out like that, making everyone worry. I also caused Brother Yang to get injured."

Little Dragon Girl looked at her, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes.

Guo Fu continued, "My mother said that Brother Yang has many people around him, and I need to learn to be magnanimous. Although... although I'm not quite there yet, I will try my best."

She paused, then gripped Yang Guo's hand tightly: "Brother Yang is good to me, so I want to be good to Brother Yang too. As long as he has me in his heart, I... I'll be content."

She spoke haltingly, clearly trying to convince herself.

But that earnestness came from the heart.

Xiaolongnu remained silent for a moment, then shifted her gaze from Guo Fu's face to Yang Guo.

"How many people surround you is your business." She spoke slowly, her voice still cool, yet carrying an indescribable emotion. "I'll only ask you one question—"

She paused, then said, word by word, "Do you have me in your heart?"
