Raphael's lips curled into a mocking smile.

He came specifically to remind Chris, wanting him to make plans early.

The words, once on the tip of their tongues, became sharp blades that wounded the other party.

"You've always been like this, resorting to any means to achieve victory. Now you're despised by the Zerg people, which is your own fault."

Chris's handsome face was covered in frost.

Watching Raphael's lips open and close, every word he uttered was cold and merciless, more painful than a knife cutting into flesh.

He would stop at nothing to climb the ladder.

But initially, he didn't intend to have pests.

Those arrogant and domineering male insects humiliated him time and time again, and even tried to destroy him.

He was simply returning the pain that the male insect had inflicted on him.

I knew this day would come.

It's just that when the time comes, I can't get over that hurdle in my heart.

Chris was seething with anger now that Raphael had said it to his face.

He retorted, "Dr. Raphael kills insects without drawing blood; I am ashamed of my own inferiority."

Raphael met his cold, arrogant gaze and smiled meaningfully.

"Now that you're nothing, how do you expect to compete with me for Shi Yuxiong's position?"

Before he could finish speaking, an angry shout came from the hospital corridor.

"Chris, you have really disappointed me. You have abused your power and harmed precious male insects."

The roar seemed to shake the entire hospital, and the surrounding insects scattered in fright.

Raphael frowned, a hint of disgust flashing in his eyes.

He shoved Chris into the ward and quickly closed the door, the whole action flowing smoothly like water.

Immediately afterwards, he slowly turned his wheelchair to face the male insect that had rushed over.

His tone was harsh and cold.

"Hehrman, this is a hospital. Sick insects need rest, so please keep quiet and don't make a fuss here."

Hermann looked down at Raphael with disdain in his gray eyes, not taking him seriously at all.

He sneered, "The bug I'm looking for is Chris. I advise you not to meddle in other people's business."

In his eyes, Raphael was nothing more than a pitiful wretch abandoned by the royal family.

It's utterly ridiculous that someone who can't even protect themselves would try to interfere in Chris's affairs.

"If Chris is guilty, the law will punish him. This is a hospital, a place to save lives."

Raphael looked serious, showing no fear whatsoever.

His voice was strong and resonant, echoing in the air.

His gaze was as cold as ice, sweeping across the faces of the troublemakers as if it could pierce their souls.

The male insects seemed somewhat uncomfortable under his gaze.

Raphael scoffed inwardly.

It's truly baffling that Chris could tolerate such a trashy worm.

Herman frowned, his heart filled with a raging torrent of hatred.

He stared intently at Raphael, his fists clenched tightly, his voice sharp with rage.

"My best brother Love was forcibly taken away by soldiers and sent to that terrible place in the North because Chris modified the documents without permission. His fate is still unknown."

Chris had humiliated him at the Roselle mansion last time, and he had held a grudge ever since.

Unexpectedly, he actually got the chance to take revenge.

To tamper with military documents without authorization is tantamount to courting death.

Herman wouldn't hesitate to kick a female insect when she's down and stomp on her a few times.

Raphael lowered his eyes, his long eyelashes casting a faint shadow on his fair face.

He curled his lips into a faint smile.

But the smile didn't reach his eyes, sending a chill down the insect's spine.

"Hermann the Male".

Raphael's voice was calm and gentle.

"If your friend is missing, you can go to the police station to report it, instead of yelling and shouting in the hospital like this. It's unbecoming of you."

Hermann didn't take it seriously.

He looked disdainful. "You're nothing but a royal outcast, how dare you speak to me like that?"

He emphasized the word "abandoned pawn" with extra force, trampling Raphael's pride underfoot.

Having said that, Hermann strode forward and unceremoniously pushed Raphael's wheelchair aside.

The wheelchair slid along the ground for a distance before finally coming to a stop by crashing into the wall.

Raphael gripped the armrest tightly, his body trembling slightly, as if he was trying his best to suppress his emotions.

Just as Herman raised his hand to knock on the door, he suddenly heard a "click" and the door opened from the inside.

The moment the door opened, his gaze met that of the insect behind it.

When he saw that exquisite face, his eyes flickered for a moment, but he quickly regained his usual arrogance.

Without saying a word, he grabbed Chris's arm and slammed him against the wall.

He roared angrily, "Chris, how dare you hide from me!"

With his back pressed against the cold wall, Chris frowned almost imperceptibly.

A chill instantly spread from his spine throughout his body, and a cold feeling welled up in his heart as well.

"Hermann, the insect you're looking for is me. Don't make things difficult for Dr. Raphael."

Chris shook off his hand and said expressionlessly.

Herman's face turned very ugly when he saw that he was not apologizing as humbly as before.

All patience was exhausted at this moment.

"Have you changed your mind? Now you're talking back to me for some other insect?"

Hermann's voice was filled with extreme anger.

He stared intently at Chris, as if trying to see through his eyes to his true inner thoughts.

Faced with this question, Chris just smiled, a smile tinged with bitterness and helplessness.

"Changed heart? I never loved you."

The sound was as calm as still water, without the slightest ripple, yet it contained endless despair and resolve.

Upon hearing this, Hermann was struck dumb, his body trembled violently, and an expression of disbelief appeared on his face.

"What? You never loved me? Are you lying to me?"

His voice was unusually low, as if he had lost all his strength.

Chris held his head high.

His gaze passed over Hermann and looked into the distance, as if he were recalling some painful past events.

"You've deceived me and toyed with me time and time again, cuddling with other insects and mocking my lowliness. How could I possibly love someone like you?"

These words were like sharp blades, slicing open Hermann's heart, causing him unbearable pain.

He moved his lips, "I didn't mean to, I just wanted you to behave and not disobey me..."

"You didn't intentionally get intimate with other female insects in front of me, and you didn't intentionally leave me, who was in my vulnerable period, in the slums."

"It wasn't a deliberate attempt to trick me into going to a bar and let your good brothers get me drunk...nor was it a deliberate attempt to bring a submissive woman to humiliate me at the wedding..."

Seeing the coldness and determination in Chris's eyes, and the utter disappointment in him.

Hermann suddenly felt that everything in the world had lost its color and become dull and lifeless at that moment.

He never imagined that Chris didn't love him.

I never imagined that losing Chris would cause him so much pain.
