The whole morning.

Shi Yu remained focused and busy.

This extraordinary event quickly spread throughout the camp, and numerous soldiers flocked to the medical station.

Winnie's steps were unsteady, as if his soul had left his body; he had no idea how he got back to the office.

He suddenly grabbed the water glass on the table, tilted his head back, and gulped it down, the cool water flowing down his throat.

Even so, his mind was still a little dizzy, as if he was still immersed in the shocking scene that had left the insects speechless.

As a senior doctor with over 30 years of medical experience, Winnie considers himself to be knowledgeable and experienced.

However, what he saw today completely overturned his previous understanding.

He murmured to himself, "By the God of Insects, I am fortunate enough to witness such a historic moment, with His Majesty, an S-rank, personally guiding the soldiers' mental energy."

Before he finished speaking, colleagues in the office immediately came over to chime in with curiosity.

"Director Winnie, what nonsense are you spouting? How could an S-rank lord possibly condescend to provide mental energy guidance to the soldiers?"

Winnie held up two fingers, looking quite pleased with himself.

"I saw it with my own eyes. In less than two minutes, Your Majesty completed the mental energy channeling."

Another military doctor scoffed, "A mental energy channeling completed in just two minutes? Chief, are you sure this lord isn't an F-grade male?"

Upon hearing this, Winnie glanced sideways at the insect.

He said with a hint of dissatisfaction and contempt, "Hmph, you guys are really ignorant! It's true that it takes two minutes to save a soldier."

But they can save more than thirty soldiers in an hour, and a full four hours have passed by now.

At this point, Winnie shifted his gaze to the solitary figure by the window.

"Raphael, you'd never guess who that S-rank lord is, he is..."

"Excuse me, I just remembered I have something to do, I'll go downstairs first."

Raphael suddenly stood up and rushed out of the office.

Upon hearing the words "S-class Your Majesty," he immediately thought of Shi Yuxiongzi.

Chris is so stingy, how could he possibly bear to let the lord come to the front line?

Raphael completely lost his usual composure and rushed to the first-floor office in a panic.

When I saw that incredibly familiar face, my heart skipped a beat.

He strode forward, dragged Shi Yu away from the insect swarm as he was about to perform mental energy manipulation on the female soldier.

The soldiers panicked and angrily tried to seize the Crown Prince, but were stopped by a single sentence from Cullen.

"Your Majesty has been working continuously for four hours and his mental energy is completely depleted. He needs to rest. Please come again tomorrow."

The soldiers then gave up and had no choice but to leave.

On the other hand, Shi Yu, whose work was suddenly interrupted, was somewhat dissatisfied, but still tried his best to remain polite.

"Dr. Raphael, what are you doing? If you have something to say, just say it here. I'm really busy right now, and I have a lot of work to do."

Raphael clenched his teeth, his jaw tense from the excessive force.

His rosy lips were pressed into a straight line, revealing his inner anger and worry.

And so, Raphael dragged Shi Yu along without saying a word.

They finally stopped when they reached a corner free of insects.

"Dr. Raphael, I have already made myself very clear to you."

I will never consider remarrying in my life. Please stop bothering me and don't disturb my work.

Shi Yu looked at Raphael indifferently, his eyes devoid of any emotion, as if the person standing in front of him was just a strange insect.

"Does Chris know you've come to the front lines?"

Raphael completely ignored Shi Yu's words, his bright eyes now filled with concern.

He gazed at the insect that captivated him, his eyes slowly moving as if trying to etch its silhouette deeply into his heart.

I will tell him.

Shi Yu's eyes darted away.

His voice was noticeably weak, but he did not regret the choice he made.

With the military and civilians united as one, he felt extremely proud to be able to boost the morale of the soldiers.

Raphael's eyes reddened, and large tears welled up in his eyes.

He murmured incoherently.

"Shi Yuxiong, don't you know that such long-term, high-intensity work will ruin your health and may even cost you your life?"

His voice rose several octaves unconsciously from worry, his words filled with heartache and helplessness.

Seeing him cry for no apparent reason, Shi Yu couldn't help but frown.

He secretly grumbled to himself, thinking that Raphael was really too nosy.

He carefully considered his words before speaking.

"Thank you for your concern, but I'm really not tired. We're not close, so please don't interfere with my work anymore."

He emphasized the last sentence much more.

"But...but I just can't bear to see you ruining your body like this! My feelings for you have never changed."

Raphael still tried his best to persuade Shi Yuxiongzi to take better care of himself.

"Enough! Dr. Raphael, please face reality. I have someone I love, and I'm already married to Chris."

Therefore, from now on, it's better for you and me to keep a certain distance to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

I don't want Chris to be sad or upset because of these things.

Shi Yu refused decisively, then turned around and prepared to leave this place of trouble.

"Shi Yuxiong, if... I were the insect you encountered first, would you have given me the same care and love as you did for Chris?"

Raphael's breathing quickened slightly, and his long, slender hands gripped Shi Yu's arm tightly.

Stubbornly seeking an answer.

"I will, but life doesn't allow for 'what ifs.' I am loyal to my marriage, and I will never betray it in this lifetime."

Shi Yu's eyes were cold, and his words were clear and distinct.

He forcefully pulled his arm away.

Because he knew that since there was no future for them, they should not leave each other with even the slightest illusion or hope.

Upon hearing this answer, Raphael's once bright eyes instantly dimmed.

He slowly lowered his head, his long eyelashes concealing the sorrow in his eyes.

His thin lips trembled slightly, his tone weary.

"Sometimes I wonder, how can you be so heartless? All I want is a home..."

Upon hearing this, Shi Yu paused slightly, and his originally cold expression softened.

He spoke softly, suggesting, "If you really long for a home, it's not that difficult."

You can recognize Chris as your older brother, and from now on I'll be your brother-in-law. Chris and I will protect you.

Shi Yu thought to himself, "Finally, a big problem has been solved."

My wife will probably praise me!

He remembered that he had promised his wife that he would not make decisions on his own.

He quickly added, "However, this requires Chris's consent."
