The lord's words were like a thunderclap, exploding in Heamis's ears.

Is today his birthday?

Heamis's thoughts gradually returned; today did indeed seem to be his birthday.

It's just that it seems like he hasn't celebrated his birthday in a long time.

"In my hometown, we sing 'Happy Birthday' and eat cake on birthdays."

This is the second time today that the leader has mentioned his hometown.

For some reason, Heamis felt a strange sense of panic upon hearing this.

It's as if Heemis, though sitting face-to-face with the ruler, always feels a great distance between them.

Heemis realized that she knew very little about the male ruler, and according to the male ruler's words, he should not be a worm of the main star.

What kind of insect is the male insect from?

Second magnitude star, third magnitude star... or...

Heemis suddenly felt a pang of self-loathing; she was utterly incompetent as a female ruler, not even knowing where the male ruler's home was.

When the powerful ruler mentioned his hometown, his gaze fell into the distance, as if he were reminiscing.

Is the powerful ruler missing his homeland?

Heemis couldn't help but ask, "My lord, where is your homeland?"

If the male ruler is homesick, he can pilot a starship and take him home.

"My hometown... is in a very far place." After Gu Heng finished speaking, the insect seemed somewhat silent.

Heemis tried to smooth the frown on the lord's face. "The starship can travel at a speed of two thousand light-years per hour. If your home is very far away, it will just take a little longer, but we can still get there."

"If you want to go back, how about we go back this weekend?"

Seeing the female insect racking her brains to comfort him, Gu Heng couldn't bear to tell her that he might never be able to go back.

This is no longer a matter of crossing light-years.

Two parallel worlds can never intersect.

"If there's a chance, I'll take you to see my hometown."

Gu Heng said, as if he didn't want Hermes to worry.

The lord's ambiguous words puzzled Heemis. If he was so fond of her, why not act now?

What trapped the powerful ruler?

The male ruler said that his home planet was called Blue Star, a beautiful planet.

Gu Heng changed the subject, turning his attention back to the cake on the table. He inserted the candles and lit them.

Gu Heng looked at Heamis, "Alright, now you can blow out the candles and close your eyes to make a wish."

Heemis's brow twitched slightly, as if in thought, before his gaze finally settled on the lord. "Will a wish always come true?"

Gu Heng was taken aback for a moment by the question.

Of course, making a wish doesn't guarantee it will come true.

That's just a beautiful expectation, and it gives us a positive psychological suggestion.

Gu Heng simply said, "I believe that all your wishes will come true."

Heamis didn't ask any more questions. The lord sang him a birthday song, and in the soft singing, he made his wish.

Heemis opened his eyes, his gaze seemingly tinged with other emotions. He looked at the powerful ruler who had stopped singing. "My lord," he said, "my wish is..."

"Shh..."

Before Heamis could finish speaking, Gu Heng interrupted her, blinking, "If you say your wish out loud, it won't come true."

Heamis was unaware of such a detail, so he swallowed the rest of his words and buried his wish deep in his heart.

Gu Heng stroked his chin, thought for a moment, and then said, "How about we eat the longevity noodles first, and then the cake last?"

Heemis had no objection to Gu Heng's suggestion. After seeing him nod, Gu Heng moved the bowl of noodles in front of Heemis.

Heemis looked closer and realized that there was only one noodle in it.

This unusually long noodle was rather novel; Heemis had initially thought it was just an ordinary noodle.

Gu Heng explained from the side, "Longevity noodles only have one noodle, symbolizing longevity."

Heemis saw many strange things today, including cakes and longevity noodles.

After the meal, Heamis took the flowers back with him, intending to place them in various places throughout his home.

When Gu Heng came out of the shower, he found that the female insect was still arranging flowers. He looked around and saw that there was a vase in every place he could see.

Gu Heng paused in his act of drying his hair with a towel. He glanced at the time on the clock in the living room and reminded him, "General, it's getting late. Go take a shower."

Heemis looked up and glanced at the time. It was a little past eight in the evening. It didn't seem that late.

But Gu Heng added, "Go take a shower, I'll help you put the rest of the flowers in the tub."

The male ruler took the scissors from his hand, his words carrying an air of unyielding authority.

Heemis watched as the male lord bent down to carefully trim his hair, hesitated for only a second, and then took her change of clothes to prepare for a bath.

"Oh, by the way, I have a gift for you later."

Hemires was about to enter the bathroom when he heard the lord's voice coming from afar, and he paused in his action of opening the bathroom door.

Is there an extra gift?

What could it be?

Hemirus couldn't help but feel overjoyed. All he could think about was finishing his bath quickly so he could unpack the gift his lord had prepared for him.

Heemis twisted her wrist and pushed open the bathroom door with a click.

Heamis washed quickly, but by the time he came out, there were no more insects outside.

Heamis noticed that the flowers that had just been placed on the ground were all gone. She turned around and saw that they had all been placed in a vase.

Are male rulers really that efficient?

Heemis scanned the house but couldn't spot the male insect.

Finally, he stopped in front of the half-open door of the master's room, where a faint light shone through.

"My lord?" Heamis called out tentatively, then slowly pushed open the door.

After opening the door, his eyes met Gu Heng's.

The male ruler was leaning against the headboard, playing with his personal computer. When he saw him come in, his gaze fell on him.

Hermes' gaze unconsciously swept across the room, as if searching for something.

Gu Heng put down his personal terminal, and seeing this, he slightly curled his lips. "General, are you looking for a gift?"

Hearing this, Heemis nodded unconsciously.

But he didn't seem to see it.

Gu Heng let Heemis move closer.

Heemis listened without finding anything amiss. He took a few steps forward and stopped by the bedside.

Gu Heng saw the expectation in the female insect's eyes, and he gently reached out and took her wrist.

Then, with a pull.

By the time she realized what was happening, Heemis had already thrown herself into the arms of the male lord.

He frantically tried to get up.

Suddenly, a hand pressed down on him from the side.

Gu Heng leaned down and whispered something in his ear.

Hemir's eyes widened slowly as he stared at the powerful ruler, his eyes filled with disbelief, and a slight heat rose to his ears.

"Hurry up, General."

Heamis pursed her lips tightly, as if she had made a tremendous decision.

He stretched his long, slender hand forward, his fingertips trembling slightly.
