the next day.

When Gu Heng woke up in the morning, he did not see Hermes as expected.

He ran to the back courtyard and only turned back satisfied when he could no longer see the aircraft that had been parked there.

It seems Heamis took his words to heart and went to work in her flying machine.

After finishing his meal, Gu Heng took a vehicle to the central square.

He glanced at the sign and then headed straight for the top floor, the floor that specialized in selling aircraft.

As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, I was greeted with great enthusiasm by insects.

From afar, Bett saw a male insect emerge from the elevator. Suppressing his joy, he eagerly went to greet it.

The other shop assistants, seeing that Bette had gotten there first, gritted their teeth in frustration.

There's a reason why Bette is so enthusiastic.

Male insects that come to buy flying machines usually don't leave empty-handed; they buy them without hesitation.

Moreover, they have peculiar tastes, preferring items with exaggerated and flamboyant designs, which are mostly unsold inventory that has been piling up in warehouses for a long time.

Therefore, the moment Bette saw Gu Heng, her eyes lit up.

And here comes another big client.

Bette's eyes lit up, and she eagerly pushed the few slow-selling items to Gu Heng, praising them to the skies.

If other male insects were here, seeing these colorful flying machines, coupled with the boast that capturing one would make them the most tasteful insect in the entire galaxy, they would have already been unable to resist swiping their cards.

Bette talked herself hoarse, but the male insect beside her remained completely unresponsive.

Bet felt a bad premonition when she saw the male insect's furrowed brows.

Don't male insects like it?

The male insect, which had been silent until now, finally spoke up, "Don't you have any other varieties here?"

As Gu Heng looked at the items the salesperson was trying to sell him, he felt like his eyes had been severely assaulted. How on earth did they design these Northeastern floral cotton-padded jacket-style skin tones?

Gu Heng decided to buy his aircraft here because he heard that this place sold the most diverse and innovative models in the entire empire.

As a result, this is it?

Gu Heng's expectations dropped by half.

Bate felt a jolt; this was the first time he had encountered such a male insect, and he couldn't quite grasp its intentions.

Bette tentatively asked, "What style would you like?"

"Minimalist style".

Not the kind of brightly colored one that would dazzle insects.

The realization that there was finally a male insect with a normal level of vision left Bet stunned for a while.

His exceptional professionalism led him to quickly toss aside the eye-watering manual and unfold in front of the male insects several of their best-selling aircraft, as well as a few newly launched models.

Gu Heng felt relieved as he looked at the art style, which was finally more normal. Then he looked at the female insect with suspicion.

Bette felt a cold sweat break out on his back from the stare. He really didn't mean it; who knew this customer's taste was so different from that of the average male insect!

If it weren't for the fact that Gu Heng's nape didn't have any insect markings, he would almost have thought it was a female insect.

Gu Heng read the manual from beginning to end. After turning to the last page, he flipped back to a previous page and quickly and firmly pointed to a seemingly unassuming aircraft. "I want this one."

Beth was shocked by Gu Heng's extremely high efficiency. The male insects were selected so quickly?

He took it, glanced at it, and saw that it was one of their newest models, rather understated.

"No problem, sir."

"This is our newest product, understated yet luxurious and sophisticated. Your taste is truly the best I've ever seen."

Unrestrained flattery poured down on Gu Heng; this was an essential professional quality for every salesperson.

After deciding on the model, Bate took Gu Heng for a test drive.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

Gu Heng made the decision, "Let's go with this one."

"Okay, please sign here." Bette led Gu Heng to the front desk.

Gu Heng took the document, signed his name at the signature area, and then readily swiped his card.

Bate took the document and smiled with satisfaction. Just as he was about to bow and tell the gentleman to take his leave, a loud 'boom' suddenly echoed in the air.

He was startled and stumbled, falling straight down onto the smooth floor.

The terrified screams and frantic fleeing noises mingled together, making the insect's scalp tingle and its heart skip a beat.

"A strange beast! A strange beast is attacking!"

"A strange beast has appeared in the central square?!"

"Ah!"

"Why am I so unlucky? I can't even run into a monster with an extremely high danger level just by going out to buy something."

"I'm hiding behind the pillar; they shouldn't be able to spot me."

"Contact military headquarters immediately! Evacuate the insects!"

The frantic screams and shouts were interspersed with very few orderly commands for the evacuation.

Bate finally understood what had happened. He patted his bottom and got up from the ground using both hands.

When he looked ahead again, he was dumbfounded. Where were the insects?

Where did the male insect go?!

Military headquarters.

Heemis had not forgotten the male insect's instructions; he arrived at the military headquarters today in his silver-white aircraft.

When Heamis stepped off the flying machine, some female insects passing by greeted him.

The female insect glanced behind Heemis and exclaimed, "General, is your aircraft a limited edition? The fuselage is truly beautiful!"

Normally, Heemis would just nod politely when she greets him, but now, hearing the female insect say this, he unusually and reservedly agreed, "I think so too."

Heamis gazed at the sun, which was halfway up the sky, and took a deep breath. He felt that the weather was exceptionally good and the air was particularly fresh.

There hasn't been much war going on outside lately, so the tasks assigned to Heamis are few and relatively simple.

He first inspected the newly enlisted soldiers, moving among the fresh faces in their dark green uniforms.

Heamis ran into Emory.

He was in charge of training the new recruits.

Hermes and his gaze met for a moment, then parted again.

Emory stopped his presumptuous boasts about challenging Heamis and monopolizing his time.

This made Heemis feel that yesterday's reminder was quite effective.

A female insect rushed over, her eyes lighting up for a moment when she saw Emory. Then she stopped and spoke urgently to Emory, who was instructing the new recruits.

"Major General, a strange beast has suddenly appeared in the central square! Your superiors have ordered you to take a squad of soldiers there immediately."

Before Emory could speak, Heamis, who had been some distance away, strode up to the female insect that had brought the news, her face grim. "What did you say? Where has a strange beast appeared?"

The female insect turned around, and then saw that it was the newly reinstated general! He met Heemis's gaze, which seemed to want to devour him, and stammered, "It's the central square!"

Amory was quite surprised to see Heamis in such a state of panic. Could the usually composed admiral ever be so flustered?

Heamis made her decision immediately, "I will lead the army there!"

The female insect didn't realize why the general was so eager to do this job.

Amory raised an eyebrow and stopped Heami, who was in a hurry to leave. "General, wouldn't it be a waste of your talents for you to go?"

He smiled and said, "Leave this to me."

His intuition told him that Heamis had something else on her mind, which piqued his curiosity.

Heemis was extremely anxious. The place the male insect had said he was going to buy the flying machine was right in the central square.

Hearing that a strange beast had appeared in the central square, Heemis wondered whether the male insect had safely returned home or if it had been injured in the square.

Heamis's heart was in turmoil.

But the annoying Emory blocked his way completely, and Heamis's face suddenly darkened. "Emory, don't make me repeat myself."

Amory watched Heamis's hurried departure, lost in thought.

He wants to go too!

He wanted to see what it was that made Hermes so concerned.
