Zhen Yuanzi and Laozi felt an instant connection and immediately agreed to discuss Taoism at Kunlun Mountain. Hongyun was naturally invited to go along as well.

Kunlun Mountain truly lives up to its reputation as the sacred site of the Three Pure Ones. The mountain range stretches for thousands of miles, exuding a majestic aura. Enveloped in celestial mists, embraced by rainbows, with overlapping peaks, the scenery is breathtaking. Countless spiritual plants and mythical beasts inhabit the mountain, all imbued with the spiritual energy of Kunlun Mountain. Many of them have developed sentience and are waiting for the right moment to transform into human form.

Seeing Hongyun's shocked expression, Tongtian waved his hand arrogantly: "This Kunlun Mountain is no less impressive than Longevity Mountain!"

He then complained in a low voice, "It's just that Kunlun Mountain doesn't allow animals to go up there. Those animals can only cultivate at the foot of the mountain and can't go up the mountain."

Hongyun and Yuanshi looked at Tongtian at the same time, their eyes unexpectedly meeting. Hongyun saw the displeasure in Yuanshi's eyes, and it seemed that Tongtian would need another kiss to escape this time.

"Why not let the animals go up there?" Hongyun added fuel to the fire.

Tongtian, without any restraint, curled his lips and whispered, "My second brother is the most stubborn person ever. He insists that those animals are born from wet eggs and are dirty and lowly creatures, and he won't allow them to defile the spiritual energy of Kunlun Mountain."

"What do you mean by not being born from moisture or eggs? Only innate beings are born and nurtured by nature. Who would want to come to Kunlun Mountain to seek a place for cultivation for innate beings like you and Fellow Daoist Zhen Yuanzi?"

The four people he met before were also innate beings, but because they weren't born with innate Dao bodies, he looked down on them just the same.

I think there aren't many people in this vast and desolate land who can catch his eye.

Tongtian got more and more excited as he complained, and he kept talking. Hongyun kept giving him meaningful glances, but he didn't notice at all!

In fact, the person he complained about was not far after he was born.

Hongyun initially wanted to see Tongtian get beaten up, but people are contradictory. Hongyun wanted to see Tongtian get beaten up, so she could deliberately provoke Tongtian to talk and make Yuanshi angry, but she didn't want Tongtian to be beaten too badly, because she felt a little sorry for him.

So when Tongtian got carried away with his talk, we started preparing to stop him, but once Tongtian started talking, he just wouldn't stop.

Left with no other option, Hongyun had to say, "Your second brother is behind you."

"Ah!" Tongtian sprang up and turned around instantly, meeting the gazes of Yuanshi who was glaring angrily.

"Hehe, Second Brother~" Tongtian chuckled and called out, then turned and ran away.

It wasn't Yuanshi who chased after them, but the Three Treasures Jade Ruyi.

Hongyun also guiltily avoided Yuanshi's gaze; it was too frightening.

Yuanshi: "Fellow Daoist Hongyun, are you now also a Great Luo Immortal?"

Hongyun nodded and answered honestly, "Late stage of the Great Luo Realm."

Yuanshi's expression worsened. As a fellow innate being and a direct descendant of Pangu, he had been diligently cultivating, spending tens of thousands of years in seclusion, yet he hadn't broken through as early as Tongtian, who had been wandering around for many years.

His elder brother's cultivation level was higher than his when he took human form, so it was only natural that he surpassed him. Tongtian had a fortuitous encounter and his origins were the same as his, so although it was painful for him to surpass him, it was still acceptable.

But you can't just ask any innate being and assume they're at a higher level than him, right? My elder brother just asked Zhen Yuanzi, and Zhen Yuanzi is also at the late stage of the Great Luo realm. Now, Hongyun is also at the late stage of the Great Luo realm. So, out of these five, he's the only one who hasn't broken through.

"Fellow Daoist, have you had a fortuitous encounter?" This was the only thing Yuanshi could say to comfort himself.

Hongyun glanced at Yuanshi's expression and cautiously said, "How about Fellow Daoist Yuanshi drink a cup of Enlightenment Tea? It contains the essence of Dao, and you might have an epiphany when you hit a bottleneck."
