A few months later, at a manor owned by the Zhou Group.

Two ancient ginkgo trees stand outside the manor gate. When the wind blows, the leaves fall rustling down, covering the colored paper lining both sides of the stone path.

Lin Mo was unusually dressed in a formal suit today, his black suit was pressed perfectly, but he still had no expression, standing at the door like a taut flagpole.

Dozens of round tables covered with white cloths had already been set up on the lawn behind us.

Several waiters moved among the tables, arranging bunches of champagne roses.

The relatives had already taken their seats; there weren't many people, and many tables were still empty.

Just then, a black sedan drove by, and a young man emerged from it.

He looked around first, then saw Lin Mo in the distance, ran over in a few steps, and lightly punched him in the chest.

"Hey kid! You disappeared for so long without telling your brothers, and then you come back with such a beautiful wife. Tell me honestly, where did you go to make your fortune?"

This man's name is Li Mian, and his nickname is Instant Noodles.

He was wearing a faded denim jacket, and his hair was shorter than it had been six months ago.

He has a carefree and heartless look when he laughs.

Lin Mo listened to his words with a serious expression, reached out and squeezed his arm, the force neither too light nor too heavy, like picking out a piece of meat at the market.

"Hmm, you're doing alright. I can take you over there to have a look sometime."

"It's a deal!"

Li Paomian's eyes lit up immediately; he truly believed it.

Lin Mo never jokes; if he says he'll take him, he definitely will.

He ran a couple of steps into the manor, then turned back and waved to Lin Mo, his face beaming with joy.

"You're the groom today, don't keep such a serious face! I'm going in first to get a good spot!"

Lin Mo watched his retreating figure without saying a word, but the corners of her mouth curved slightly.

This is his brother, whom he has known since he was a toddler.

When my mother was sick, this kid didn't say a word and just transferred 10,000 yuan to her.

That was all he could offer at the time.

Lin Mo will remember this kindness for the rest of her life.

Not long after, another car stopped in front of the door.

Lin Feng got out of the driver's seat and went around to the other side to open the door for Zhou Xiaomei.

Zhou Xiaomei wore a dark red cashmere coat today, her hair was neatly pinned up at the back of her head, and she looked very energetic, but she had lost a little weight.

As soon as she got out of the car, she waved to Lin Mo: "Xiao Mo, is everything arranged?"

Lin Mo stepped forward and helped her up: "Everything's ready, come in and sit down."

Lin Feng looked around and muttered in a low voice, "Xiao Mo, you're making too much of a show. There are only a few people in our family, we don't need such a big place. I think we can play football on that lawn over there."

"Yin Xue has many friends," Lin Mo said.

Zhou Xiaomei's eyes softened slightly when she heard the name Yin Xue.

She patted Lin Mo's hand as if to give him a very important instruction.

"Little Blood is an orphan, you have to treat her well and not let her be bullied, do you hear me?"

Lin Mo nodded: "Okay, Mom."

Zhou Xiaomei then nagged Lin Feng to take the bag of candy from the back seat, saying she was going to give some to the waiter.

While muttering, "It's not your wedding, why are you so busy?", Raymond Lam still took out the bag of candy.

Lin Mo stood at the door, smiling as he watched them walk in side by side. Suddenly, he felt that all the injuries he had suffered in the past six months were so minor that they could be ignored.

A short while later, a long black sedan silently pulled up in front of the door.

Zhou Sheng got out of the car without a cane, wearing only a gray felt hat.

Behind him, Zhou Yue's soul appeared and disappeared, still wearing that old military uniform, his back ramrod straight.

Zhou Sheng walked up to Lin Mo: "Quite a few cars have come. You've certainly made quite a show of it."

Lin Mo went up to him, nodded to Zhou Yue first, and then said, "Thank you for taking care of my mother during this time."

Zhou Sheng waved his hand.

"No need to thank me, I just wanted to fulfill my last wish. I never thought I would see a relative in my old age."

He paused, glanced back at Zhou Yue who had been quiet, then turned back and said in a low voice.

"I should thank you."

Lin Mo shook his head: "That was our agreement."

Zhou Sheng smiled, the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes crinkling together.

He reached out and patted Lin Mo on the shoulder: "I'm useless now. After you two get married, come work at the company. I really like Mianmian, have her come often."

Without waiting for Lin Mo's response, he slowly went inside with his hands behind his back.

Next came the family.

A little girl ran down first, wearing a light pink princess dress, her hair cut to ear length, and she ran like a fluttering butterfly.

It's Gao Tiantian.

Gao Yang followed behind her. The boy was still wearing a thin jacket over his school uniform. He looked somewhat reserved, his eyes darting around, clearly not used to this kind of occasion.

Behind them was a middle-aged couple, Tian Tian's parents.

Madam Gao stepped forward first and smiled gently at Lin Mo.

"You must be Mianmian's father, right? Tiantian and Mianmian have been inseparable lately, their relationship is so good. The child is happier than anyone else to be able to attend your wedding today."

"That's good."

Lin Mo nodded.

The couple exchanged a few more polite words and then led Gao Yang inside.

As Gao Yang passed by, he lowered his head to Lin Mo without saying a word, but the tips of his ears turned bright red.

Lin Mo didn't look at him much, only thinking to himself that this person was completely different from the madman who had persisted for three thousand years.

Finally, Tian Tian stopped in front of Lin Mo.

She tilted her little face up, looked at him for a few seconds, then bowed deeply and said in a childish voice.

"Thank you, Brother Lin Mo."

Lin Mo raised his hand and gently rubbed the top of her head.

"Go inside, Mianmian is waiting for you."

Tian Tian giggled and ran after him into the manor.

Just then, Lin Mo suddenly raised an eyebrow.

He sensed a very subtle spatial fluctuation emanating from the open space not far in front of him.

He turned around, facing the empty air, and whispered, "It's coming."
