At this moment, the night sky over the Elf Forest was illuminated by a huge, bright moon.

"roar!"

A dragon's roar shattered the silence.

Eight enormous dragon shadows swooped down from the clouds, the resulting wind pressure causing the treetops below to bow their heads.

The leading golden dragon had a wingspan of over a hundred meters, and its scales reflected a dazzling golden light under the moonlight. It circled twice above the Elf Forest, then folded its wings and landed on the open ground directly in front of the royal city.

The dragon's claws stomped on the ground, causing it to tremble and the roots of several ancient trees, some hundreds of years old, to be uprooted from the soil.

The other seven giant dragons followed closely behind, their colorful scales shimmering in the moonlight. Each one was an ancient monster that had lived for countless years, and the aura emanating from each of them was firmly above that of a demigod.

After landing, the eight dragons simultaneously withdrew their dragon might, and their enormous bodies rapidly shrank in a distorted light and shadow, transforming into eight humanoid figures.

The leading old man, dressed in a golden robe, had white hair and beard, but his vertical pupils were so sharp they seemed to see through everything.

He stood with his hands behind his back, his gaze passing over the living barrier of the elves and looking into the depths of the royal city.

"The Golden Dragon Clan, Hong Yuan."

He spoke, his voice not loud, yet it echoed throughout the entire forest, causing the glowing vines to tremble.

"He has brought seven elders of the Dragon Clan to pay a visit to the Elf King."

As soon as he finished speaking, a commotion came from the other side of the forest.

The earth trembled slightly, and heavy footsteps came from the depths of the dark forest, as one ancient tree after another was roughly pushed to the sides.

A caravan of orcs emerged, bathed in moonlight.

The old shaman at the head of the group tapped the ground with his bone staff, and with each tap, a circle of light blue totem rippled outwards, silently shaking back the vines and shrubs blocking his way.

"Orc, Sagar."

The old shaman's voice was hoarse and dry, like two stones rubbing against each other.

"It's rare to see the Elf Forest so lively; it seems we're not too late."

His cloudy old eyes swept over the eight dragon demigods who had transformed into human form, and a meaningful smile appeared on his lips.

The third wave consisted of vampires.

They came silently, as if they were seeping out from the moonlight itself.

Five figures dressed in dark red robes appeared out of thin air in the open space.

There was no light from the teleportation array, no sound of wind cutting through the air; it was as if they had always been there, and the moonlight just happened to shine on them.

The leader of the vampires looked to be no more than thirty years old, with skin as pale as paper and a pair of scarlet eyes that shone eerily in the moonlight.

He was toying with a small silver cup in his hand, which was half-filled with an unknown dark red liquid.

"Dracula IV, a vampire."

He raised the silver cup to his lips and took a sip, his tone as leisurely as if he were attending a tea party.

"I heard a new demon king has appeared. If we old fogies don't come out and move around soon, our bones will probably start to mold."

……

In the following minutes, more than a dozen figures appeared on the open ground outside the Elf Forest.

There are Stone-skinned demigods who are over three meters tall.

A human warrior flew in, riding a long sword.

They come from all over the mainland and have never shown themselves in decades or even centuries.

But tonight, they all came.

Behind the living barrier of the Elven capital, the Elven archers on the city walls had already drawn their bowstrings.

El stood atop the branch archway above the city gate, his brow furrowed as he looked down at the crowd below.

"As expected, nothing good ever comes from Lin Mo's arrival."

El gritted his teeth and cursed under his breath.

His adjutant, a silver-haired elven archer, frowned upon hearing this.

"Your Highness, these people..."

"They're all demigods."

El's voice was dry, like he was chewing sand.

The other elves trembled slightly upon hearing the word "demigod" and the bowstring in his hand.

"That old man with the golden dragon is Hong Yuan, the strongest warrior of the dragon race three hundred years ago. That Sag is the previous chieftain of the orc race, who is said to have lived for more than a thousand years. That Dracula's bloodline can be traced back to the progenitor of the blood race. Any one of these people is an old monster whose name is known on the continent. They are all here tonight."

"What are they doing here?"

"What else can we do? Kill Lin Mo."

As soon as El finished speaking, Hong Yuan moved.

The old man with the golden dragon strode forward and walked straight toward the city wall.

His steps were slow, but each step resonated with the heartbeats of the elven archers.

However, he was forced to stop before he could take ten steps.

A powerful life force surged forth from the depths of the Elf Forest.

The aura wasn't oppressive like a raging storm, but rather a gentle, inclusive, yet irresistible vastness.

The grass on the ground grew wildly the moment the breath touched it, moss climbed the rocks, vines hung from the branches of ancient trees, and the flowers that were originally in bud all bloomed at this moment.

A figure dressed in a dark green robe slowly walked out of the city.

It was an elderly elf.

He looked much older than Aize, with a thin face and long, silvery-white hair that reached his waist.

He walked barefoot on the grass, and with each step, the blades of grass automatically formed a soft cushion to support his feet.

El's eyes lit up when he saw the old man: "Grandpa."

He was none other than the previous Elf King, Erin.

"Where's that kid Aize? Tell him to come out and see me."

Hong Yuan frowned, his tone unfriendly.

The elven elder stopped, tucked his hands into his sleeves, and bowed slightly in greeting.

His movements were so composed, as if he were facing not eight demigod dragons, but a few neighbors who had come to visit.

"Aize is currently entertaining distinguished guests under the Tree of Life and is unable to appear at the moment. If any of you have matters to discuss, please speak with me first."

He always wore a gentle smile as he spoke, but every demigod present could understand what was hidden in that smile.

This is the territory of the elves, and the strength of the elves has never been determined by one or two people.

There was a moment of silence in the open space.

Hong Yuan narrowed his eyes, the cold light in his vertical pupils clashing with Ai Lin's emerald green eyes in mid-air, exchanging a silent blow.

No one released any pressure, no one gathered any magic, but the air between the two demigods began to distort slightly.

In the midst of this tense atmosphere, a round figure squeezed out from behind the Stone-Skinned Clan demigod.

It was a goblin dressed in a magnificent brocade robe, only reaching the waist of a normal person, with a smiling face and a shrewd, almost cunning, gleam in his small eyes.

"Oh dear, we're all old friends, why be so tense the moment we meet!"

The goblin rubbed his hands together, his laughter high-pitched and ingratiating.

Dracula IV smiled and toyed with the silver cup in his hand, as if he were watching a wonderful play.

"If there's going to be a fight, you'd better let me know in advance."

Dracula held the silver cup up to his eyes, looking at the moon through the dark red liquid inside, his tone languid.

His attitude also represented that of most of the demigods present.

Given the current unclear situation, they chose to wait and see.

Hong Yuan withdrew his gaze from Ai Lin and let out a cold snort.

"It has been a long time since I last visited the Elf Forest. The moonlight is just right tonight, so let's make a return visit. Brother Erin, you won't turn us away, will you?"

Erin narrowed his eyes, thinking that the old man was cunning enough.

However, she still smiled and turned to the side, making a "please" gesture.

His expression remained as gentle as water, as if the tense confrontation had never happened.
