Lin Mo frowned and gripped the Star Stone tightly in his hand.

Are you sure?

Yin Xue did not answer immediately.

She flew to Lin Mo's side, extended her fingertips and hovered them above the star stone, not actually touching it, but merely tracing the outline of the magic circle from a distance.

After a while, she raised her head and stared straight at Lin Mo.

"This is indeed exactly the same magic circle that summoned me to this continent."

These words immediately caused an uproar among the surrounding elven elders.

The elder's hand, which was holding the staff, trembled violently, and his aged voice was filled with disbelief and shock.

"The Star Stone is a divine artifact passed down through the Star Elves. Master Tie Lie forged it himself and then sealed it in the temple, never to be touched by outsiders. If Yin Xue came to the continent because of this magic array, wouldn't that mean this array leads to Yin Xue's homeland?"

Aize then spoke up as well: "Could it be that the Blood Demon King is a member of the Star Elf race?"

This conjecture was like a boulder thrown into a calm lake, causing ripples that made all the elven elders restless.

"The Star Elf race has an extremely high talent for formations, which is clearly recorded in the ancient history of the Elf race."

She remained suspended above the Star Stone, head bowed, fingers unconsciously twirling a strand of her red hair, her scarlet eyes revealing complex emotions.

Lin Mo did not participate in the debate.

He looked at Yin Xue for a moment, then spoke, his voice not loud, but it drowned out the discussions of all the elders.

"So, do you want to go back and take a look?"

Yin Xue was taken aback and turned to look at Lin Mo.

For a rare moment, her expression showed a hint of helplessness.

She opened her mouth, then closed it again, then opened it again, finally raising her chin and striking her signature haughty pose, crossing her arms and letting out a snort.

"Actually... it's not that it's impossible, it's just that I've forgotten what it looks like over there. Thousands of years have passed, and it might have become a wasteland by now. "If you find any trace of the Star Elves, please be sure to tell us. The Star Elves have been missing for a thousand years, but the Elven race has never given up searching for them. This is very important to us."

He walked up to the Star Stone and reached out to take Yin Xue's small hand.

Then, Lin Mo and Yin Xue's figures disappeared at the same time.

The light of the magic circle suddenly went out, and the Star Stone fell from mid-air, landing steadily on the ground with a dull thud.

The elves looked at each other in bewilderment. The Grand Elder and Aize exchanged a glance, wanting to say something, but found themselves completely at a loss for words.

Finally, Aize walked up to the Star Stone, bent down, picked up the black stone, and gently placed it back into the corresponding spatial ring in the artifact.

There was no light, no sound, no direction, only the dark purple energy emanating from the core of the Star Stone enveloping the two of them and pushing them toward some unknown coordinates.

His stomach was churning, and his head felt like it had been hit with a hammer, but he gritted his teeth and refused to let go.

He gripped Yin Xue's small hand tightly.

Then, everything suddenly stopped.

When Lin Mo opened his eyes, all he could see was a gray expanse of land.

The color of this land is not the brown of soil, nor the yellow of sand and gravel, but a lifeless gray-white, as if all its vitality has been drained away by something.

There was no grass, no moss, and nothing alive underfoot.

The air was dry and thin, with an indescribable chill; each breath felt like a fine sandpaper scraping against my throat.

The sky above was pure and utterly black.

It wasn't the starlit night sky, but a boundless darkness that seemed to devour all light.

There were no clouds, no stars, and no reference points to judge the height of this sky.

But Lin Mo's gaze lingered on the sky for only a moment before being captured by another sight.

moon.

A huge moon, large enough to occupy half the sky, hung in the very center of this dark sky.

Its surface is covered with varying shades of blue, green, and brown.

That's the outline of the ocean and the land.

Lin Mo recognized that patch of green; that was the location of the Elf Forest.

The coordinates of Dragon City in the Dragon Domain can be vaguely discerned at the edge of that brown patch.

He didn't know exactly how far away the moon was; he could even vaguely see a continent that had once been covered in ice and snow surrounded by a deep blue ocean.

That's not the moon.

That is the Divine Guidance Continent.

The real moon is where you are.

"It's still the same as I remember."

Yin Xue's voice rang in his ears, her tone devoid of its usual arrogance and teasing, replaced by a calmness that even she herself couldn't quite explain.

"This is my hometown."
