Qin Ge and his group drove along, stopping and starting as they pleased, not in a hurry at all.

They arrived in Haicheng on the afternoon of the fifth day of their journey and settled in a hotel there.

"Aren't you afraid that if you keep moving so slowly, the people from the Ink Robe Hall will run away and empty their treasury?"

Su Wenxi really couldn't understand Qin Ge's thought process. He could have taken a plane to Haicheng in the same day, but he insisted on taking such a long and leisurely journey.

"They can't escape. They've stored these treasures for so many years, and it's impossible to move them in a big way. I estimate it will take them at least ten days to two weeks to move them all!"

"I saw you having a lot of fun with Xiaomeng the whole way, what's the rush!"

Qin Ge would never fly. He could do his best to ensure the safety of the people in the car if he encountered any problems while driving, but if he were flying, it would be entirely up to fate.

The stronger you are, the more you possess, and the more you want to control everything.

"Are you really sure about this?"

"Didn't Han Beichen say he would help you resolve the Moyi Hall matter?"

"If you really touch their treasury, then there will be no reconciliation between you and them; it will be a fight to the death!"

Su Wenxi wasn't particularly interested in Mo Yitang's treasures. She felt that if Mo Yitang and Qin Ge could coexist peacefully, it would be fine to continue in this state, and there was no need to provoke them.

"They've been irreconcilable for a long time!"

"What Han Beichen wants to do is his business, but I'm determined to take down the Moyi Hall!"

"They've sent assassins to kill me so many times. If I weren't capable of handling it, I don't know how many times I would have died. They can't just quit like that; that would be too easy on them!"

Qin Ge drew back the curtains and looked into the distance. Across the sea, she could see Liuguang Island, which appeared as a line. "You guys stay at the hotel for now. I'm going out for a stroll."

"Be careful." Su Wenxi knew that Qin Ge wanted to go to the island alone first to see if Mo Yitang knew he was coming and if there was an ambush.

Although she really wanted to go, she knew her own limitations. If anything happened, she would only be a burden to Qin Ge.

"There are no boats running between Liuguang Island and Haicheng at night, so keep an eye on the time, or you might not be able to get back!"

Qin Ge took a boat to the island and strolled around, but didn't find anything special until it got dark. He then took the last boat back to Haicheng.

After disembarking, Qin Ge felt a little hungry. Looking at the time, he realized that Su Wenxi and the others had probably already eaten dinner.

So he casually bought a lamb leg from a roadside barbecue stall called "Maimaiti" and strolled along the seaside boardwalk while eating it.

"This Flowing Light Island is much bigger than I imagined; finding the exact location of the Ink Robe Hall's vault is really not easy!"

Qin Ge stood gazing at Liuguang Island on the opposite shore, sighing inwardly, and casually stuffed the nearly eaten lamb leg into the trash can next to him.

Almost as soon as he let go, a figure darted out and took the lamb leg bone.

When Qin Ge looked over in astonishment, the person who had taken the lamb leg was already gnawing on the meat that hadn't been completely eaten off the lamb leg bone.

He scrutinized the newcomer warily, noticing that his long hair was matted and his body was covered in filth, as if he had been fished out of a sink of leftover food and dried directly, emitting a sour and foul stench.

"You can really run!"

Just as Qin Ge was about to turn and leave, several more figures darted out and quickly surrounded the beggar.

The beggar dropped the lamb leg from his hand, looked up abruptly, and turned to run away, but his escape route had already been blocked.

"Run! Why aren't you running anymore? Aren't you supposed to be a fast runner?"

"We haven't slept a wink since the night before last to catch you, so you'd better keep running!"

One of the men surrounding the beggar raised his foot and kicked him in the stomach. "Take him away!"

Two men immediately stepped forward and helped the beggar, who was clutching his stomach and kneeling on the ground, to his feet.

"Holy crap, why does it smell so bad?"

"No wonder we couldn't find her!"

The two men complained repeatedly, saying they must have been out of their minds to volunteer for this job!

"Big brother, what do we do with this kid? He saw everything!"

Only then did they notice their presence.

"No way, is it related to me?" Qin Ge was about to say that he wasn't the only one who saw it, but after looking around, he found that there was no one around.

"You all go about your business, I didn't see anything!"

He turned around but stopped halfway. "By the way, stop calling me 'little boy,' it's really rude!"

"Help! Please help me..." The beggar pinned her hopes on Qin Ge, this stranger. She dared not expect him to be able to deal with so many people, but this was her last straw.

However, she was punched in the stomach as soon as she opened her mouth, and was in so much pain that she couldn't speak.

Qin Ge glanced back at the beggar, "This is none of my business. You guys continue, go do what you were doing!"

"Stop right there!" the man called "Big Brother" shouted. "You think you can just walk away?"

"Break his neck and throw him into the sea!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Qin Ge was surrounded.

"Do you really have to do this?" Qin Ge turned around. "I'm just an outsider passing through; I really don't want to get involved in your affairs!"

"I can pretend I didn't hear what you just said. Let's all keep quiet and make way!"

"What are you all standing there for?" the older man roared. "Are you waiting for a crowd to gather before you make a move?"

"Kill him!"

"Click—"

Before he could finish speaking, Qin Ge suddenly disappeared from the group's encirclement. When she reappeared, she was in front of him, smiling at him, and then grabbed his neck with one hand and snapped it.

"Remember to make amends when you get to hell!" Qin Ge threw the man's corpse into the sea. "Always trying to kill people, all talk and no action, yet you shout so loudly without any real strength!"

"Big brother!!"

Only when they heard their elder brother's body fall into the sea with a splash did the others react and turn pale with shock.

"You guys..." Qin Ge counted the heads, a little troubled. "Sigh, we've only just arrived in Haicheng and we've already made headlines."

"Thump thump—"

One by one, the people present were thrown into the sea without struggling.

"You...you stay away!"

In the blink of an eye, only the two men who had been holding the beggar were left. When they saw Qin Ge walking towards them, they were terrified.

They loosened their grip on the beggar, trying to escape, but their legs wouldn't cooperate.

The beggar was completely stunned.

"Spare me! Spare me!"

"We're just lackeys who do things for others. It's our boss who wants to kill you, not us!"

The two men knelt down and kowtowed, begging for mercy until their foreheads were bleeding, but Qin Ge still kicked them into the sea.

After dealing with the two men, Qin Ge scrutinized the beggar. "Do you know me?"

"N-I don't know him." The beggar's voice was wooden, and his eyes were blank, clearly not knowing why the other party was asking this question.

"Fine, I'll spare your life!" Qin Ge suppressed the urge to throw the beggar into the sea to wash him as well, and turned to leave.

"Wait, please save me!"

The beggar's voice came from behind him.
