She recalled seeing several people toasting him at the banquet.

Given his current status, it would be difficult for him to refuse a toast from someone.

A soft heart, like a tidal wave, washed over the already crumbling dam.

"Don't talk." She sighed, ultimately unable to bring herself to be harsh. "I'll take you to rest first."

There are temporary rest rooms available for guests upstairs in the hotel.

Bian Zhizhi half-supported and half-carried the unsteady Wei Zixian as they struggled into the elevator, attracting many curious glances along the way, before finally managing to open the door to an empty room.

Upon entering the room, Bian Zhizhi first turned on the room light and adjusted it to a soft light before helping the person to sit down on the bed. Bian Zhizhi was already panting heavily.

She straightened up to pour him a glass of water, but her wrist was grabbed again.

She turned around in surprise and met Wei Zixian's raised eyes.

The misty moisture in her eyes seemed to have dissipated somewhat, replaced by a bottomless darkness that held her captive.

Like a predator that has its eyes on its prey and patiently waits for the right moment.

Bian Zhizhi's heart skipped a beat, and a strange feeling flashed through her mind.

But before she could get a closer look, Wei Zixian's eyes quickly returned to that drunken daze.

He looked up at her, his lips, flushed from the alcohol, slightly pursed, and the blush on his cheeks, under the indoor lights, gave him a somewhat... alluring beauty.

"Sister, don't go..." he pleaded softly, his fingers restlessly stroking the inside of her wrist, sending a shiver down his spine. "I feel unwell..."

"I'll get you some water." Bian Zhizhi tried to pull her hand away.

"No water..." He shook his head, pulled her with force, causing her to stumble and fall onto the edge of the bed beside him.

He leaned closer, his high, straight nose almost touching her cheek, their hot breaths mingling. "I want a reward..."

"What...reward?"

Bian Zhizhi was somewhat bewildered by his scorching heat and his sudden words.

Wei Zixian looked at her face so close to his own, his gaze falling on her slightly parted lips, and his eyes suddenly darkened.

For a moment, Bian Zhizhi was in a daze.

The sight of the man before her, drunk and stubbornly demanding a reward, unexpectedly overlapped with the scene from three years ago at the Wei family banquet, where he had asked for a kiss.

The same person, with the same eyes that mix coquettishness and assertiveness.

However, the man before her had shed his youthful naiveté and become more mature, more adept at strategizing and striking directly at the softest corner of her heart.

Bian Zhizhi was stunned and speechless for a moment.

Wei Zixian didn't give her much time to react.

He patiently rubbed his lips against the corner of hers.

The touch was like a feather brushing against you, carrying the subtle scent of alcohol and an undeniable longing.

Bian Zhizhi trembled all over, her long eyelashes drooping in panic.

Seeing that she did not immediately resist, Wei Zixian seemed to have grown a little bolder.

He tilted his head slightly, his thin lips gently taking her lower lip into his mouth, and tentatively licked it with the tip of his tongue.

"Ugh..." Bian Zhizhi let out a very soft sob, her fingers clenching the fabric of his chest.

This action was like lighting a fuse.

Wei Zixian released her lips, pressed his forehead against hers, his breathing heavy, his voice hoarse and barely audible, carrying a final, cautious confirmation:

"Is it okay, sister...?"

His eyes were fixed on her, filled with undisguised longing and a hint of fear of rejection.

As Bian Zhizhi gazed into those eyes, the thin layer of self-deception in her heart shattered and melted with a "crack" at that moment.

She saw it.

It wasn't out of gratitude, guilt, or a soft heart.

It's love at first sight.

Even after three years, the attraction and longing remain unbroken.

She closed her eyes and nodded gently.

The next second, a hot and fierce kiss fell like a storm, no longer the tentative gentleness of before, but carrying the desire and longing that had been pent up for three years and almost burned him to ashes. It domineeringly pried open her teeth and conquered her territory.

"Mmm..." Bian Zhizhi was almost suffocating from the kiss, and her hands instinctively climbed onto his shoulders.

As if encouraged, Wei Zixian kissed her more deeply and intensely, cupping her face with one hand and lovingly stroking her earlobe with his thumb, while his other hand tightly gripped her waist, pressing her against him completely.

Bian Zhizhi went from passively accepting his advances to gradually responding in rhythm with him.

Her response acted as a powerful catalyst, causing Wei Zixian to completely lose control.

Wei Zixian lifted her up and placed her on his lap, one hand tightly gripping her waist, bringing their bodies even closer together.

He would place the other hand on the back of Bian Zhizhi's head, and gently stroke her head when she did not show any resistance.

If it resists, this hand will hold the branch tightly, preventing it from leaving.

His kisses grew deeper and heavier, as if he wanted to devour her whole and integrate her into his very bones.

Years of separation, longing day and night, and the pain of unrequited love all found an outlet at this moment.

On the other side, in the banquet hall.

After exchanging pleasantries with a few acquaintances, Su Wan looked around but couldn't find Bian Zhizhi, and no one answered her phone.

She frowned, remembering that she seemed to have seen Wei Zixian was no longer there.

A bad feeling crept into my heart.

She asked the waiter, and someone said they thought they saw Miss Bian helping a drunk man toward the elevator.

Su Wan's heart skipped a beat, and she immediately headed upstairs to the guest room area.

She remembered that the hotel had reserved several lounges for the studio.

She gently knocked on each room's door, but no one answered.

When she reached the last room at the end of the corridor, she vaguely heard some noises coming from inside.

She hesitated for a moment, then reached out and gently turned the doorknob.

The door wasn't locked; it was ajar.

The scene inside made Su Wan freeze in place, her blood seemingly freezing.

Her best friend, Bian Zhizhi, was being held tightly in the arms of a tall, handsome man, and they were kissing each other passionately.

The man held Bian Zhizhi's head with one hand and wrapped his other arm tightly around her waist, kissing her passionately.

Bian Zhizhi's arm was draped over the man's shoulder, her head tilted slightly back, completely absorbed in the moment.

Wei Zixian seemed to have noticed her the moment she pushed the door open.

He slowly opened his eyes and glanced at her.

There was no surprise, no panic in those eyes, only undisguised aggression.

It was as if to say: See? She's mine.

Su Wan felt a chill run down her spine from his gaze and subconsciously took a half step back.

Wei Zixian closed his eyes again and continued kissing the person in his arms, as if no one had ever come to the door.

Su Wan stood there, her face turning white then red, then red then pale.

Finally, she turned around abruptly and rushed out of the room as if fleeing, closing the door behind her.

The sound of the door closing finally brought Bian Zhizhi's dazed mind to some clarity.

She pushed Wei Zixian away forcefully, her breath unsteady, her cheeks flushed, and her lips swollen and moist from his kisses.

She looked towards the doorway with a mixture of surprise and uncertainty: "I...I think I heard the door open...someone came in?"

Wei Zixian looked bewildered, his eyes hazy from "drunkenness." He followed Bian Zhizhi's gaze toward the door, then turned back to look at her, blinking innocently.

"Really? I didn't hear it. Maybe it was the wind?"

He acted flawlessly. Although Bian Zhizhi had her doubts, seeing his expression and considering how engrossed the two of them had been just now, perhaps... she really had misheard.

"Is there really no one here?" she asked again, confirming.

"Really," Wei Zixian said confidently, then leaned closer, resting his chin on her shoulder and rubbing it against her, his voice sweet and sticky.

"Sister, let's not worry about others... I'll go lock the door, let's continue, okay?"

Bian Zhizhi was aroused by his caresses, and her doubts were quickly overwhelmed by the surging tide of passion.
