Obsessive Young Master Wei: My Beloved Loses Control Every Night
Chapter 121 You look very happy today
Bian Zhizhi got out of the car and watched Chang Xiting's car drive away before turning around and going upstairs.
Upon reaching the third floor, she subconsciously glanced at the door next door once again.
This time, light shone through the crack in the door.
Is Wei Zixian at home?
This thought made her pause in her tracks.
But soon she shook her head, opened the door, and went inside.
Unbeknownst to her, after she closed her door, the door next door silently opened a crack.
Wei Zixian stood inside the door, peering through the crack at her room. After a long while, he gently closed it.
Thursday morning was sunny and bright.
Three buses arrived on time at the entrance of the Little Tree Hole Studio. More than forty children, more than ten teachers and volunteers, and accompanying parents made up a large group of over a hundred people, creating a lively and bustling atmosphere.
Bian Zhizhi, dressed in casual sportswear and wearing a sun hat, was checking the list with the teachers.
"Little Deer, did you bring the first aid kit?"
"Yes, yes, I brought six."
"What about drinking water?"
"Prepare double the amount per person, plus reserves."
"it is good."
Chang Xiting got off the last bus. He was dressed casually today, in a white T-shirt and khaki pants, and looked several years younger than usual.
"Everything is arranged," he said. "The farm is ready. Lunch will be a self-service barbecue and farm-style dishes, and the materials for the afternoon's craft activities are also ready."
"Thank you for your hard work," Bian Zhizhi said with a smile.
"It's not tiring at all," Chang Xiting said, looking at her. "You seem very happy today."
"Yes," Bian Zhizhi said, looking at the chattering children. "It's been a long time since I've taken them out to play. Look, Xiaoyu is talking a lot today."
Chang Xiting followed her gaze and saw that not far away, Xiao Yu, who used to be quiet and reserved, was excitedly gesturing to his companions about something, with a rare smile on his face.
At nine o'clock in the morning, the convoy set off on time.
The children sang and played games on the bus, their laughter filling the air.
Bian Zhizhi sat in the front row of the first bus, watching the scenery outside the window gradually change from the city to the countryside. Her mood was as clear and bright as the sky in early July.
Forty minutes later, the convoy arrived at Qingshan Ecological Farm.
The farm is located halfway up a mountain with a moderate slope, good drainage, and plenty of sunshine. It covers a large area and includes orchards, vegetable gardens, a large lawn, and several handicraft workshops.
The farm owner, a middle-aged man in his fifties surnamed Chen, warmly welcomed them.
"Xiting has already explained everything; the children's safety is the top priority," Boss Chen assured him, patting his chest.
"All facilities on our farm have undergone safety inspections, and all staff members have received first-aid training. Have a safe and enjoyable trip!"
The morning activity was a group experience of farm work.
Led by their teachers, the children went to the orchard to pick peaches, to the vegetable garden to pull up radishes, and to the chicken coop to collect eggs.
The novel experience thrilled them, and their little faces turned rosy from the sun.
Bian Zhizhi and Chang Xiting patrolled between the various groups to ensure everything went smoothly.
The lunchtime barbecue took place on the lawn.
Parents also joined in, grilling skewers and corn with their children, their laughter echoing amidst the green hills and clear waters.
"Sister Zhizhi, here you go." Xiaolu handed over a skewer of grilled shiitake mushrooms.
"Thank you." Bian Zhizhi took it, took a bite, and said, "Hmm, not bad."
"That's right, I'm a barbecue expert," Little Deer said proudly.
Chang Xiting came over with a plate of fruit salad: "Eat some vegetables, it's hard to digest just meat."
"Mr. Chang is so thoughtful." Little Deer blinked and tactfully walked away.
Bian Zhizhi blushed slightly and took the salad, saying, "Thank you."
The two sat on a picnic mat under the shade of a tree, watching the children run and play on the lawn.
"These days are so good," Bian Zhizhi said softly.
"yes."
The afternoon's craft activities took place in the workshop.
The children can use the leaves and stones they collected in the morning, as well as the clay and fabric provided by the farm, to create freely.
Bian Zhizhi moved between the various workstations, providing guidance.
"Teacher Zhizhi, look at the bird's nest I made!" A girl held up a small nest woven from twigs.
"How beautiful! The little bird will love it."
"Teacher, teacher, my stone painting!"
"Very creative, the colors are really well combined."
Chang Xiting was capturing these moments with his camera. His lens often unconsciously followed Bian Zhizhi's figure.
At 6 p.m., the event was drawing to a close.
The teachers began organizing the children to pack their things and prepare for their return journey.
Bian Zhizhi was helping a slow-moving child tidy up their artwork when she suddenly heard a soft voice: "Teacher, my little rabbit is missing..."
She is a five-year-old girl named Duoduo who has mild autistic tendencies.
She held a small clay rabbit in her hand, which was her most treasured creation of the day.
"Gone? Wasn't it just here a moment ago?" Bian Zhizhi squatted down and asked softly.
"Just now... when I was playing on the grass, it might have fallen somewhere." Duoduo's eyes reddened. "Mommy and I made it together..."
Bian Zhizhi remembers that Duoduo's mother couldn't come today because she was working overtime, and the little rabbit was something they finished together in the studio yesterday.
"Don't cry, Duoduo, Teacher will help you find it." She patted the girl's head. "Do you remember where you last played?"
"Near...near the slide over there."
Bian Zhizhi looked towards the children's playground at the other end of the lawn.
There's a small hill there, and the slide is at the top of the hill.
"Little Deer," she called her assistant, "take Duoduo to the bus to rest first, I'll look for her. We'll be right back."
"I'll go with you," Chang Xiting said as she walked over.
"No need, you help the teachers organize the children to get on the bus," Bian Zhizhi said.
"It's just a little rabbit. I'll find it quickly and come back. If I'm not back in ten minutes, I'll take the children home first, and then I'll take a taxi back later."
"Then be careful and come back soon," Chang Xiting instructed.
"understood."
Bian Zhizhi walked towards the slide.
The afternoon sun was shining brightly, and traces of children playing were still scattered on the lawn.
She looked around the slide but couldn't find the clay rabbit.
They expanded their search area, looking in nearby bushes and under benches.
still none.
Maybe it rolled down the hillside?
Bian Zhizhi walked to the edge of the hillside and peered down.
This is a gentle slope, overgrown with wild grass and low shrubs.
Sure enough, she saw that small figure next to a clump of wild chrysanthemums on the hillside.
found it!
She breathed a sigh of relief and carefully walked down.
The slope wasn't steep, but the grass was so thick that you couldn't see your feet.
She shuffled down step by step and finally reached the little rabbit.
I picked it up and checked it; it was intact.
Bian Zhizhi smiled, carefully put the rabbit into her pocket, and prepared to walk back.
Just then, she heard a muffled thunder-like sound coming from afar.
Looking up at the sky, I noticed that a large patch of dark clouds had appeared and pressed down from the other side of the mountains.
The bright sunlight that was just moments ago was instantly swallowed up by most of it.
It is going to rain?
She quickened her pace and climbed up the slope.
But after climbing only a few steps, large raindrops began to fall, both fast and dense.
