The ultimate Valkyrie has fallen for me

"Lu Diaolong! Can't you have any manners?! Don't you know to knock first? Can't you see I'm talking to someone right now?!"

Wu Jianming roared at the newcomer and threw a document from the table at him.

Lu Diaolong?

Upon hearing this name, Lu Yuan's eyes widened instantly.

The head of the Equipment R&D Department is also a leading figure in the equipment R&D field in the entire Chongming Base City!

Speaking of which, Lu Yuan had sent an email to Lu Diaolong before, but had not received a response, probably because he was too busy.

At the time, Lu Yuan was under threat from Zhou Buyi and desperately needed protection, so he sent over the blueprints for the Dragon-Capturing Gloves with the mysterious tattoo, just to give it a try.

Now that Zhou Buyi is dead, Lu Yuan no longer needs to curry favor with Lu Diaolong, so he no longer cares about this matter.

Unexpectedly, I suddenly saw Lu Diaolong in Wu Jianming's office today.

"I'm in a hurry!"

Lu Diaolong looked anxious and quickly walked to Wu Jianming's side, placing a drawing in his hand on the desk.

"Look at this design..."

"What am I looking at? Do I even understand it?"

Wu Jianming simply tossed the blueprints aside and stared at Lu Diaolong with a stern face.

"What did you just say? You asked me for someone?"

"Yes, yes, you absolutely have to give this person to me! Look at this design, it's really..."

"What are you looking at!"

Wu Jianming simply yanked Lu Diaolong's blueprints onto the ground, his voice suddenly rising several decibels.

"Old Lu, I've noticed you've gotten too big for your britches! You dare ask me for people now! Why should I give you my people? No, what do you want my people for? Are you trying to pick a fight with some department?"

At this point, Wu Jianming frowned again.

His team of officers were all highly skilled and capable; otherwise, how could he have kept these elite members in check?

But Wu Jianming's so-called elite troops and generals refer to those with outstanding combat capabilities. Lu Diaolong's department is the equipment research and development department, and his subordinates know absolutely nothing about equipment.

"Why are you always digging into my blueprints, you bastard!"

Lu Diaolong picked up the blueprints and glared at Wu Jianming with annoyance.

"Why would I fight? I need people to develop equipment!"

"No? You've lost your mind with all this research and development. You're asking me for people to develop equipment? What can my people do for you? Decompose monster corpses?"

"Look... never mind, you wouldn't understand even if I showed it to you."

Lu Diaolong took out the blueprints, then simply put them back.

"Lu Yuan! Isn't there someone named Lu Yuan in your team? Don't try to fool me. I checked before I came here. Lu Yuan is currently in your special operations team."

"Is Lu Yuan the person you're looking for?"

Wu Jianming was taken aback and couldn't help but look at Lu Yuan sitting opposite him, his eyes filled with doubt.

Originally, it was thought that Lu Diaolong was going to transfer his subordinates, but to my surprise, it turned out to be his team members.

Moreover, it was Lu Yuan, whom he was preparing to recruit into the Star Dou Squad.

But Wu Jianming was puzzled. Although Lu Yuan's cultivation and combat talents were top-notch, Lu Diaolong was a crazy equipment development maniac. Such a person was not worth his attention. What did he need Lu Yuan for?

"Are you mistaken? Lu Yuan is indeed quite strong, but he's probably useless against you."

"How can it be useless! Look at this blueprint!"

Lu Diaolong was excited and spread out the blueprints in his hand again.

"This is the Dragon-Capturing Gloves, a piece of equipment I developed over twenty years ago. Later, as my personal skills improved, I upgraded it several times. I originally thought it had reached its limit due to the limitations of soldier-level equipment. But alas, it has reached its full potential!"

"Can't you just speak plainly? What didn't you think of?!"

"I never expected that Lu Yuan from your team would actually improve and upgrade this equipment again! Look here, and here, and this... wow, what a brilliant idea, simply ingenious, a masterpiece!"

"Heh, Lu Yuan upgraded and modified your equipment."

Wu Jianming smiled coldly and glanced at Lu Yuan opposite him.

He couldn't understand the blueprints, but he knew Lu Diaolong. According to Lu Diaolong, Lu Yuan was a talent, a great talent in the field of equipment research and development!

That's why Lu Diaolong was so anxious that he kicked down his office door and came to demand the person back.

"Where's Lu Yuan! Bring Lu Yuan here right now! You can't reason with a boor like you. Just give him to me."

Lu Diaolong quickly put away the blueprints and looked around anxiously.

Judging from this, they're going to take the person away right now.

"There is no such person!"

Wu Jianming snapped out of his daze, waved his hand, and gave Lu Yuan a warning look.

"I don't have anyone named Lu Yuan here!"

"Bullshit!"

"Hey~! Old Lu, you son of a bitch, why are you swearing! What, you want to fight? Come on, let's fight! Let's go fight now, I'll knock your teeth out."

"Don't try to play these diversionary tactics with me! You're just unwilling to hand over the people."

Lu Diaolong snorted coldly, opened his phone, and showed Lu Yuan's job application information and photo.

"Don't touch my team, how big is it? I'll find it myself..."

Lu Diaolong was looking at the photo and was about to leave when he suddenly turned his head and saw Lu Yuan sitting next to him.

She looked at Lu Yuan, then at the photos on her phone, then back at Lu Yuan, and was first stunned, then her eyes widened in surprise.

"Holy crap! Found it!"

"Damn it!"

Wu Jianming slapped his forehead. What a damn bad luck!

Just then, Lu Diaolong barged in. If it were any other time, he would have simply hidden Lu Yuan away.

Now that's great, the person is right under our noses, there's no way to hide anymore.

"Hello, Master Lu."

Now that he had been discovered, Lu Yuan could no longer pretend to be mute, so he stood up with a respectful expression.

"I am Lu Yuan, the one with the blueprints from before..."

"Oh! Xiao Lu, I've finally found you!"

Before Lu Yuan could finish speaking, Lu Diaolong grabbed Lu Yuan's hand, his face full of excitement, as if he regretted not meeting him sooner.

"Old Lu, release my men immediately!"

Fearing that Lu Diaolong might pull Lu Yuan away at any moment, Wu Jianming quickly came over and separated the two's hands.

"Ahem, I have important matters to discuss. You should return to your equipment R&D department."

"Well, you big-headed Wu, you're trying to play the blatant lying game with me."

"Old Lu! Watch your manners! What's with all this 'big head' and 'small head' stuff? Is it appropriate for you to call me by a nickname in front of my people?!"

"Go to hell! You actually have any shame after all!"

Lu Diaolong was annoyed and then didn't bother to waste words with Wu Jianming.

"Today, now, immediately, I'm taking Lu Yuan away."

"impossible!"

Wu Jianming's eyes widened, and he slammed his hand on the table.

The special operations team enjoys special privileges at the clubhouse. As the team leader, he has always been the one poaching people from various departments. When has it ever been anyone else's turn to poach him?

Moreover, Lu Yuan was a member of the Star Dou Squad he wanted to recruit.

"Wu Datou! You dare slam your fist on the table with me!"

"I took the picture! So what? Anyone who wants to steal me will have to get past me first!"

Wu Jianming rolled up his sleeves, looking ready to make a move.

Lu Diaolong looked serious and took out a small device resembling a brass knuckle from his pocket.
