Infinite 1000-meter robot, wiped out the human traffickers at the start.

On the highway leading to the airport in a certain province.

Tong Wanlin, accompanied by two bodyguards and a trusted driver, sped towards the airport in his Mercedes-Benz.

Looking at the scenery flashing by outside the window, Tong Wanlin was filled with emotion.

"Old Wang, this is the first time I've ever been so scared that I've fled the country. Haha, isn't that ridiculous?"

Old Wang, the trusted confidant who was driving, glanced at his boss, whom he had followed for more than ten years, in the rearview mirror, but did not say anything.

He knew that what his boss needed right now wasn't what he said, but rather to relieve his unhappiness.

Tong Wanlin did not answer Lao Wang, nor did he show any dissatisfaction; clearly, he was already used to this way of communicating.

"By the way, how's the arrangement for the overseas matter I asked you to handle?"

Old Wang replied, "Don't worry, everything has been arranged for my accommodation."

Tong Wanlin nodded, leaned back, and closed his eyes.

Although he was unwilling, he knew he had to lay low for a while and wait until things calmed down. If nothing happened, he could still come back.

He can remotely control all domestic assets, so his presence or absence has little impact.

Li Ye glanced at the car Tong Wanlin was in, and a thought flickered in his mind.

The vehicle's braking system and ABS anti-lock braking system were disassembled directly at the micro level.

Suddenly, Lao Wang, who was driving, sensed something was wrong with the vehicle.

Based on his years of driving experience, he knew the car was out of control.

His expression changed slightly, and he quickly tried to regain control of the car.

However, no matter how hard he tried, the car's speed did not decrease at all, and it continued to speed at the 140 km/h that it had just suddenly accelerated to.

A layer of cold sweat instantly appeared on his forehead as he struggled to control the vehicle and maintain the distance from the car in front.

"Boss... Boss, it's out of control! The car is out of control!" He finally couldn't help but shout loudly to the back.

Mao Linlin, who had been keeping her eyes closed, and her two bodyguards broke out in a cold sweat upon hearing this.

"Out of control? What's out of control? Explain yourself!" Tong Wanlin asked loudly.

At the same time, he looked around outside the car, but apart from the faster speed, he didn't notice anything unusual.

The two bodyguards also gripped tightly onto whatever they could in the car, their faces filled with tension.

"The car's brakes are broken, they've failed. We're traveling at 140 km/h and can't stop."

"What?"

Upon hearing this, the three of them felt their heads buzzing.

Although this is a highway, it is still very dangerous to have brake failure at 140 km/h. If you are not careful, you could collide with other vehicles or even flip over onto the road.

When that time comes, everyone and everything will perish.

"Don't panic, try your best to control the car and reduce your speed."

"Boss, I've already tried it, it doesn't work! The brake pads are broken for some reason, I can't slow down at all."

Tong Wanlin's hands and feet were trembling, and his face was pale.

He never imagined that he would die not at the hands of those imagined enemies, but in this dilapidated car.

Does even God think he deserves to die?

Tong Wanlin's eyes changed repeatedly, and finally his body went limp, and he sat down behind him.

"Call the police! Call the police now! Let the police clear a path for us, let's survive first. Once the car runs out of gas, it will naturally slow down."

Old Wang didn't dare to speak up. How could he dare to say anything? He had just filled up the gas tank, just in case his boss ran out of gas and wasted time.

The transportation department quickly received the information and immediately began to take action.

However, Li Ye would not give them a chance to escape, as his thoughts continued to stir.

The car's speed began to slowly increase.

When Old Wang saw the speed of the dial, he was so frightened that his legs started trembling.

Suddenly, the car lurched violently upwards, startling the three people behind it, who broke out in a cold sweat.

Tong Wanlin roared angrily, "Old Wang, what are you doing? Are you out of your mind? Take control of the steering wheel properly!"

Old Wang's voice was almost inaudible as he stammered, "Boss... Boss, it's getting faster and faster, I... I can't control it!"

"What?" Tong Wanlin was shocked upon hearing this.

The two bodyguards behind him also turned deathly pale instantly.

The previous 140 mph speed was already fast; now we're telling them to go even faster.

They've driven before; at that speed, if the car veers even slightly, it could result in a fatal accident.

I thought it was just a business trip, but I never expected that my destination would be changed to a hellish place.

Soon, when the car reached 180 km/h, all four people in the car were in despair!

At that speed, no one can guarantee that an accident won't happen. Even if the brakes are good, accidents can still easily occur.

Just then, the above voice came from their phones.

"Tong Wanlin, I am the Director of the Ministry of Transportation. You must now have your driver follow our instructions immediately. We will send someone to guide your vehicle until you run out of fuel."

The authorities had already verified Tong Wanlin's identity and learned that he was the owner of a certain real estate company, which is why the director of the Transportation Bureau personally made the call.

However, upon hearing the voice from the other side, the three of them stood there dumbfounded, and none of them responded.

There was a sharp bend in front of them, and at their current speed, they could easily fly off if they weren't careful.

"Boss Tong said, our comrades are on their way."

"Okay, okay, thank you!"

The traffic bureau chief on the other end of the line felt a bad premonition when he heard the stammering voice coming from there.

Suddenly, a loud bang came from the phone.

boom!

The call was then abruptly cut off.

"Quick! Come and see what's going on over there!"

A traffic policeman who was checking the monitor screen immediately replied, "Chief, something's happened! That car flew off! It's probably beyond saving!"

The Transportation Bureau Chief strode over. "What do you mean 'hopeless'? Even if there's only the slightest chance, we'll save him! Do you even know who he is...?"

Before he could finish speaking, the words caught in his throat when he saw what was on the surveillance video.

In the video, a car was almost completely crushed into a piece of scrap metal. He knew without even going to the scene that the people inside were definitely not alive.

Just then, a loud bang was heard from the vehicle, and the fuel tank exploded, shattering into pieces.

Now, there's no need for confirmation anymore.

The people in the car are definitely beyond saving.

On the other hand, the higher-ups, having just traced the clues from the lawless gang back to Tong Wanlin, learned of this news and were immediately incredulous.

The leader frowned in deep thought, "How could things be so coincidental? We just located him, and then he died. Was it another accident?"

He turned to the people around him and asked, "What do you all think about this?"

"Boss, I think there's something fishy about this."
