Time Travel: My Comfortable Life After Going to the Countryside

Chapter 252 Comrade Gu Xiaoyu, what are you planning to do?

As Liu Xiangyang left the clinic, he felt a pang of sadness. Looking at his mentor's withered figure, he knew that Dr. Han wouldn't last much longer.

He figured he couldn't get out of the past to seek revenge on Watanabe for the time being, so he decided to take the risk and study the elixir further, and taste it.

Thinking this, he arrived at the village office and happened to run into Zhang Tiejun, who was walking out with his head down and brows furrowed. When he saw Liu Xiangyang, he called out, "Uncle Zhang, what's wrong?"

Zhang Tiejun looked up and asked, "Xiangyang, when did you get back? Is the training over? Wasn't it supposed to last three months?"

"Uncle Zhang's training is still a long way off. I just had some free time, so I came back to see you and my mentor."

"Have you gone to see your master?"

"I just went to see him. I have to thank Weiguo and his wife; they took very good care of my master."

"I've already told them what to do. It's what they should do." Zhang Tiejun waved his hand and sighed. "You're back just in time. Nothing major has happened in the village lately, but a few of the boys got a little cocky while you were gone, but I kept them in check."

Liu Xiangyang nodded, and the two chatted about the training for a few more minutes. Suddenly, Zhang Tiejun lowered his voice and said, "By the way, there's something I want to tell you."

"Uncle Zhang, what's wrong?"

"Li Jianjun has been trying to win over Gu Xiaoyu lately, trying to get her to divorce his son." Zhang Tiejun glanced at him. "Gu Xiaoyu is adamant about not agreeing. I don't know what she's thinking. Wouldn't she be free if she got a divorce?"

Liu Xiangyang's eyebrows twitched, but he didn't say anything.

Zhang Tiejun shook his head: "Forget it, don't worry about these trivial matters. Just focus on the training."

Liu Xiangyang nodded, chatted for a couple more minutes, and then left the village office.

He wandered around the village aimlessly.

The sun was blazing, turning the ground white, and the cicadas were chirping deafeningly. It was the off-season for farming, and the people in the fields were taking it easy, all seeking refuge in the shade.

As Liu Xiangyang walked to the edge of the cornfield at the west end of the village, he suddenly stopped and saw a familiar figure.

He walked around the edge of the field, parted a few corn leaves, and saw Gu Xiaoyu sitting under a crooked tree, leaning against the trunk, her eyes half-closed, as if she were dozing off.

She was wearing a faded blue cotton jacket with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, revealing a section of her slender, white forearm. Fine beads of sweat glistened on her forehead, her face was slightly flushed from the sun, and her chest rose and fell with her breath.

Liu Xiangyang scanned the area with his mental energy again. Finding no one around, he walked over, quietly squatted down next to her, and carefully examined her.

Gu Xiaoyu looked very peaceful while sleeping. Her eyelashes were long and curled, casting a small shadow under her eyelids. Her nose was small and pert, and her lips were slightly pursed, giving her a touch of girlish innocence.

Her skin was fair and translucent, not in a sickly way, but like a peeled egg, so tender that you could squeeze water out of it, and after being exposed to the sun, it had a light pinkish hue.

But she was no longer the simple girl she once was. There was something different hidden in her eyes and brows, a charm that only comes from being cherished by a man. She was languid and soft, like a ripe peach that could be squeezed for juice with the slightest touch.

She turned slightly to the side, and the faded blue cotton blouse couldn't contain her curves; her chest was bulging, stretching the fabric taut, rising and falling with her breath.

Her waist was slender, but her hips suddenly became rounded, creating a full curve when she sat there.

She looked soft and cuddly, as if she had just gotten out of bed, exuding a lazy and alluring charm.

As Liu Xiangyang read on, his throat grew a little dry.

Hearing the noise, Gu Xiaoyu looked up and froze. Then she suddenly stood up, dropping the grass stems in her hand. Her eyes shone brightly as she quickly scanned her surroundings.

The cornfield was quiet, with only the rustling of leaves in the wind; there wasn't a soul in sight.

The next second, she threw herself into Liu Xiangyang's arms, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist, burying her face in his chest, her voice muffled and trembling: "Brother, I thought you didn't want me anymore..."

Liu Xiangyang was knocked back half a step by her, then reached out and hugged her, laughing, "How could I not want you?" He lowered his head and whispered in her ear, "I've already stamped your seal, you'll always be my woman."

Gu Xiaoyu trembled, looked up at him, her eyes red and tears welling up, but her lips were upturned. Liu Xiangyang looked into her eyes, said nothing more, and directly cupped her face, lowered his head and kissed her.

Gu Xiaoyu made a soft "hmm" sound, then stood on tiptoe, put her hands on his shoulders, and responded passionately.

Liu Xiangyang's hands were not idle either, sliding down from her waist. Gu Xiaoyu's breathing became heavier and heavier, and she went limp in his arms, but she held him even tighter.

They kissed for a very long time, so long that Gu Xiaoyu felt like she couldn't breathe, before Liu Xiangyang finally let go of her.

She leaned against his chest, breathing heavily, her face flushed, her eyes watery, and her lips slightly swollen.

Liu Xiangyang looked down at her and smiled: "Do you believe me now?"

Gu Xiaoyu didn't say anything, but buried her face in his chest and hugged him even tighter.

Liu Xiangyang hugged her, his hand stroking her back: "I heard that Li Jianjun has been contacting you every day lately, trying to get you to divorce his son?"

Gu Xiaoyu paused for a moment, then nodded: "Mm."

"Then why don't you leave?"

Gu Xiaoyu looked at him, bit her lip, blushed and whispered, "Didn't you tell me I couldn't leave back then? You even said... you even said you liked this kind of thing."

Liu Xiangyang was taken aback for a moment, then laughed and reached out to pinch her cheek: "I just wanted to try it out and see what it felt like to sneak around like this."

Gu Xiaoyu looked up at him.

Liu Xiangyang continued, "We've tried it now, and it's just so-so. We still need to consider your situation. You can't keep hiding it like this forever, can you?"

Gu Xiaoyu's eyes reddened again, but she smiled and said, "Then will you let me get a divorce now?"

Liu Xiangyang nodded: "Divorce. After the divorce, you won't be a member of the Li family anymore; you'll be mine."

Gu Xiaoyu stared at him for several seconds, tears welling up again, but she smiled happily: "Okay, then I'll listen to you."

Liu Xiangyang wiped away her tears: "Are you happy now?"

Liu Xiangyang wiped away her tears: "Are you happy now?" He then lowered his head and kissed her on the lips.

Gu Xiaoyu didn't dodge; instead, she stood on tiptoe to respond. As they kissed, her hands began to wander, sliding down his waist.

Liu Xiangyang paused for a moment, released her, looked down at her and smiled, "Comrade Gu Xiaoyu, what do you want to do?"

Gu Xiaoyu's face was flushed, her eyes were watery, and the corners of her mouth were turned up. She stood on tiptoe and whispered in his ear, "I miss you... I miss you."

After Gu Xiaoyu finished speaking, she pushed him further into the cornfield and took off her coat to put on the ground.
