Time Travel: My Comfortable Life After Going to the Countryside

As they passed the spring, Le Yao asked, "Brother Xiangyang, have you cleaned up this spring before?"

"Yes, look at that ring of stones, they were laid when I came here before the New Year. I thought I'd bring you guys here to soak in the hot springs in the summer."

Xue Bingbing and Le Qi looked at him happily upon hearing this, knowing that Liu Xiangyang was showing them how important the three of them were to him.

Pushing open the heavy wooden door, they found the interior more spacious than they had imagined. A kang (a heated brick bed) occupied most of the space, its surface flat. A stone stove connected to the kang's opening, with a chimney leading outside. In the corner, some firewood and simple tools were piled up. Although rudimentary, it provided shelter from the wind and rain, and kept the house warm in winter and cool in summer.

"It's much better than what Qingqing said." Xue Bingbing put down her bundle and began to skillfully clean the kang (a heated brick bed) and spread out the sheets she had brought.

Leqi and Leyao also helped to put away the things they brought.

Liu Xiangyang took his axe and buckets and went to the spring not far below the hut to fetch water. He cleaned the pool, which was covered with fallen leaves, filled it with water, and then carried two buckets of water back.

A fire was lit in the stove, and the room quickly became warm and filled with the aroma of cooking. Xue Bingbing used the iron pot she had brought to boil water, preparing to wash up briefly before cooking.

It was a steaming bowl of dumpling soup with an egg and chopped green onions. Served with the pickles and fried dough sticks we brought, this hot meal in the deep mountains and forests was a truly special experience.

After finishing his meal, Liu Xiangyang said, "I'll go take a walk around the neighborhood and see if I can find something new. You guys clean up the spring area; didn't you want to take a bath? Clear out the pool."

When Le Yao heard that she could take a bath, her eyes lit up. After soaking in the mountains all morning, a hot bath would be a great treat.

Liu Xiangyang took his short spear and hunting rifle and went into the forest alone. He didn't need to go far; he spread his mental energy field and quickly spotted several flying dragons foraging in the bushes.

He approached silently, drew his bow and arrow, and with two soft swooshes, two plump pheasants fell to the ground.

When I returned with the pheasant, the area around the spring had already become lively.

Xue Bingbing, along with Le Qi and Le Yao, had thoroughly cleaned the pool and boiled several pots of hot water using the small iron pot and earthenware pot they had brought. They had even cut some soft pine branches, wrapped them in mud, and laid them around the edge of the pool. They had also prepared soap and towels.

Seeing Liu Xiangyang return carrying the flying dragon, Le Yao cheered, "Brother, what's this?!"

"Feilong, make soup for dinner tonight," Liu Xiangyang asked, standing by the pool.

They had already prepared warm water at the right temperature in the pool. It was crystal clear and steaming, making it look especially inviting in this deep mountain setting.

"You guys go ahead and wash. I'll go boil some more hot water; we'll need it later," Liu Xiangyang said, raising an eyebrow at Xue Bingbing.

Xue Bingbing lightly punched him, then, with Le Qi and Le Yao in tow, wearing colorful bibs, slid into the warm pool. The clear spring water just covered their chests, and the rising steam dispelled the mountain chill and the fatigue of the journey.

"Ah...so comfortable..." Le Yao sighed contentedly, submerging her entire shoulder in the water.

Leqi also relaxed and leaned against the edge of the pool, closing her eyes. Her bellyband was wet and clung to her body... Xue Bingbing, on the other hand, had a contented expression on her face.

The warm spring water and the rising steam blurred my vision and softened my tense nerves and boundaries.

Liu Xiangyang had his back to them, seemingly focused on adding firewood and boiling water, the water in the earthenware pot bubbling loudly. But his mental energy field clearly reflected back every ripple and every soft sigh from the pool behind him.

The sound of splashing water was Xue Bingbing gently rinsing her arms. The subtle rustling of fabric was probably Le Qi adjusting her slightly slipping bra strap. After a satisfied sigh, Le Yao let out a soft, more relaxed sound as she submerged herself deeper into the water.

After Liu Xiangyang finished dealing with the two flying dragons, he brought them to the edge of the pool, where the three people in the pool all paused slightly.

Xue Bingbing raised her head, her wet hair clinging to her neck, water droplets sliding down her collarbone and soaking into her wet bodice. Her cheeks were flushed from the heat, but her eyes remained calm, though a knowing ripple rippled deep within them. She didn't speak, but simply moved aside to make room for him.

Leqi opened her eyes, the moisture adding a touch of hazy allure to her usually calm features.

The light-colored bodice, soaked through, was almost transparent and clung tightly to her body, outlining the girl's undulating contours. She looked at Liu Xiangyang, her cheeks flushing even more, but she didn't flinch. She simply lowered her eyes slightly, tiny water droplets clinging to her long eyelashes.

Le Yao was the most direct. Her eyes sparkled as she looked at Liu Xiangyang, even unconsciously puffing out her chest, causing the water to ripple alluringly across her skin. "Brother Xiangyang, the water's so warm!"

Liu Xiangyang squatted down and tested the water temperature, which was indeed just right. His gaze swept over the three delicate bodies in front of him, which were faintly visible in the clear spring water and whose breathtaking beauty was further accentuated by the thin, wet fabric.

The bellyband floated on the water, swaying gently with the aftershocks.

Liu Xiangyang leaned against the pool, the warm spring water enveloping his languid body, sunlight shimmering between the shadows of the trees overhead.
