Fu Hua didn't stop eating, but she glanced up at him.

His gaze was calm: "Oh? What did he say?"

Xie Ci carefully observed her reaction.

Seeing that Fu Hua's face remained expressionless, he continued...

"He agreed to let us be together."

Xie Ci paused for a moment, then continued, "He also said that regarding the marriage, he would leave it entirely to you; whenever you're willing, we'll get married."

Fu Hua nodded and continued eating.

After a few seconds, she said softly, "Okay, I understand."

Fu Xiao was self-aware enough that even if he wanted to interfere, he couldn't.

"You... don't want to say anything?"

Fu Hua looked up and asked.

Xie Ci was taken aback for a moment, then asked, "What did you say?"

"I thought you would offer me some advice."

"Then you still don't understand me enough."

Xie Ci smiled and placed a frittered eggplant in Fu Hua's bowl: "If you like it, eat more."

He wouldn't offer advice regarding the Fu family's affairs.

The rift between them may never be bridged in their lifetime.

He wouldn't lecture Fu Hua on forgiving her parents.

Not all parents in the world love their children.

Not wearing his shoes, but walking the path he walked.

How can you possibly empathize with her emotions?

The two fell silent again.

The atmosphere at the dinner table was somewhat subtle; Fu Hua could sense Xie Ci observing her.

She lifted her foot and gently touched Xie Ci's calf under the table.

Xie Ci was clearly taken aback for a moment and looked at her.

Fu Hua didn't look at him, and continued to drink her porridge.

Under the table, the foot, clad in a cotton sock, rubbed against his leg again.

Slide slowly upwards from the knees, making very gentle movements.

It carried a deliberate, provocative tone.

Xie Ci tightened his grip on the chopsticks.

He stared at Fu Hua, but she wouldn't look up.

He had an innocent look on his face, as if to say, "I didn't do anything."

That foot had already slid down to the thigh.

Through the fabric of the military trousers, you can feel the soft touch and warmth.

Xie Ci took a deep breath and put down his chopsticks.

His movements were slow, and then he reached his hand under the table.

They caught the troublesome ankle perfectly.

Fu Hua stiffened for a moment, then raised her head, her eyes sparkling.

Xie Ci's eyes were as deep as the sea at night.

He held her ankle, his fingertips gently caressing the delicate skin.

"Little goblin,"

His voice was low, carrying a warning, yet also a kind of suppressed longing.

Eat well.

Fu Hua smiled slyly, her tone carrying an inexplicable intimacy.

"How can I eat properly when you're holding me like that?"

As she spoke, she gently rotated her ankle in his palm.

Xie Ci's breathing became noticeably heavier.

He stared at her for several seconds, then slowly let go and picked up his chopsticks again.

"Let's talk after we finish eating."

Each word seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth.

Fu Hua withdrew her foot, sat up properly, and continued eating.

The smile on his lips never faded.

The air was filled with a subtle, viscous atmosphere, like honey that couldn't be melted.

After finishing their meal, Fu Hua was about to clear the dishes when Xie Ci stopped her, saying, "I'll do it."

"You cook, I'll wash the dishes, that's fair."

Fu Hua persisted.

"Today is an exception."

Xie Ci had already taken the bowl into the kitchen. "Go and rest."

Fu Hua didn't argue anymore, and leaned against the kitchen door frame watching him wash the dishes.

His movements were swift and precise, the water gushing out with a clear, rushing sound.

The bowls and plates clinked together, making a crisp sound.

The warm yellow light shone on him, outlining his broad shoulders and narrow waistline.

This scene is very sensual.

It makes you want to eat meat.

She walked over and hugged him from behind, pressing her cheek against his back.

"Thanks".

She called his name softly.

"Um?"

"It's nothing, I just wanted to call your name."

Fu Hua's voice was very soft, with a childlike, coquettish tone.

Xie Ci paused in his washing of the dishes, the water rushing over his strong forearms.

He turned his head to the side, a helpless yet indulgent smile curving his lips: "Don't move."

This warning has little deterrent effect; it's more like condoning.

Fu Hua pressed against his back and could clearly feel the vibrations in his chest and the rhythm of his breathing.

That figure is so enviable!

The hand that had been wrapped around his waist began to wander restlessly.

Her fingertips traced lightly across his muscular waist through his shirt.

It slowly moves upwards and stops at the ribcage.

"You don't like me touching you? Hmm?"

Fu Hua tilted her head back, her voice rising at the end, her lips almost touching the back of Xie Ci's neck as she spoke.

The warm breath sprayed onto her skin, and Xie Ci's body visibly tensed up.

He didn't speak.

The only sounds in the kitchen were the running water and the increasingly clear breathing of the two people.

Fu Hua waited a few seconds, then, unwilling to give up, continued to press for answers.

There was a hint of deliberate provocation in his voice: "Say something! Why aren't you answering? Don't you like it?"

Her fingers had already slid down to his chest.

Through the thin fabric, you can feel the hardness and warmth of the muscles underneath.

Xie Ci's breathing became rapid and his panting heavier.

The hand holding the bowl froze in mid-air, the knuckles turning slightly white from the force.

Fu Hua looked at his silent back, a sly glint in her eyes.

She made a bold move.

With his left hand, he lifted the hem of Xie Cijun's green short-sleeved shirt and slipped his fingertips inside.

When her palm touched his waist and abdomen, both of them froze instantly.

Xie Ci's skin was hot, his muscles were firm and taut, and his abdominal muscles were clearly defined.

Fu Hua's fingertips trembled slightly, whether from nervousness or not, she didn't know.

Or perhaps it's because of... some unfamiliar stirrings of emotion.

Xie Ci turned around abruptly. The movement was so fast it created a gust of wind.

The bowl slipped from his hands and fell into the sink with a clatter, but no one paid any attention.

Xie Ci braced himself against the stove behind Fu Hua, trapping her between himself and the countertop.

His other hand grabbed her hand that had slipped inside her clothes.

It wasn't pulled open; it was pressed tightly down.

He pressed her palms even closer to his skin.

His eyes were deep and unfathomable, like the night sky before a storm.

Inside, there surged a raw, unfamiliar desire and a loss of control within Fu Hua.

"Student Fu,"

His voice was so hoarse it was unrecognizable.

Each word seemed to be squeezed out from the depths of his throat: "Do you know what you're doing?"

Fu Hua looked up at him, her heart pounding like a drum.

The light shone down on him, casting deep shadows on his face.

She could see his Adam's apple bobbing, and smell the strong scent of his masculine hormones.

You could feel the heat emanating from his body, almost bursting forth.

"I know."

She spoke softly, her voice trembling slightly, but her eyes did not dart away.

Xie Ci stared at her for a long time, so long that Fu Hua thought he was going to push her away.

Then he lowered his head and kissed her lips fiercely.

This kiss was unlike any other before.

It was no longer a gentle probing, nor a restrained touch.

Instead, it was driven by a long-suppressed, almost violent, desire for something.

His tongue pried open her teeth, venturing deep inside and conquering her territory.

His hand moved from her wrist to her waist, tightening its grip.

It's like I want to meld her into my body.

Fu Hua's mind went blank with a buzz.

She accepted the kiss, her hands unconsciously climbing onto his shoulders.

My fingertips sank into his firm muscles.

Xie Ci kissed her as he picked her up and sat her on the stove.

At this height, the two people can look at each other at eye level.

He braced his hands on either side of her body, his forehead pressed against hers, his hot breath spraying onto her face.

"Fu Hua,"

He called her name again, his voice trembling with suppressed emotion.

"It's not too late to call a halt now."
