Chen Guan stared in disbelief at the last line of the description.

He originally just wanted to try to keep the Dream Weaver in his own mental space, like Baal.

To my utter surprise, I couldn't keep the person, but my superpower mutated just like that.

Based on the description in the last line, does that mean he can now directly exchange souls with others?

If he were to directly possess Baal's body, wouldn't he be invincible?

Of course, such a dream is just that—a dream. It's obvious that to swap souls, one must first assess one's mental strength.

Unless one's mental strength can completely overwhelm another's, it is impossible to achieve the effect of exchanging items at will.

"Awooo..."

Seeing that the crisis was over, the leopard at his feet started to feel sleepy again. It yawned widely, lay down again, and prepared to continue digesting its feast.

Chen Guan bent down and hugged it back into his arms; it seemed a little heavier than before.

It seems these extra meals have had a significant effect; I've gained weight.

"I'm gone."

Li Yan's voice came through.

He had already reached the massive base of the signal tower and was looking up at the hundred-meter-tall black spire.

Chen Guan responded, picked up Leopard, and quickly followed.

The two of them, one after the other, stepped onto the dark, smooth plaza beneath the signal tower.

The ground beneath their feet was cold and hard, like a solid piece of obsidian, reflecting the eerie purple band of light in the sky, as well as the figures of the two people, one large and one small.

"Are you ready?" Li Yan stopped, his voice sounding somewhat muffled in the empty square. "There are guards on top of this tower."

Chen Guan put the sleeping leopard down from his arms. The little guy smacked his lips, turned over and continued sleeping, the tip of his tail unconsciously twitching.

He looked up at the hundred-meter-tall black spire, the twisted patterns on its surface writhing slowly like living things, radiating a deep-seated malice.

The writhing black patterns on the tower's surface, like summoned venomous snakes, converged from all directions. In the center of the plaza, the flowing crystals began to climb, twist, and reshape themselves.

A humanoid silhouette, over five meters tall and composed entirely of black crystals, slowly stood up.

It has no facial features; its head is a smooth, rhomboid crystal; its limbs are thick and strong; the strange, flowing patterns on its body surface are still preserved; and it holds a huge crystal battle axe connected to its body.

"Crystal Tower Guardian," Li Yan called out its name.

It made no sound, but simply turned its smooth head toward the coffin, a will to crush all intruders locking onto this tiny human.

"Awoo?"

The leopard on the ground seemed to sense the chill and shifted uneasily, letting out a low, dreamlike growl from its throat. But its eyelids remained heavy, its digestive system working at full capacity, leaving it with no energy to spare.

"Go to sleep." Chen Guan patted its back, then stood up straight, and the huge scythe appeared out of thin air in his hand.

Before he finished speaking, his figure had already transformed into a black shadow, charging towards the crystal tower guardian.

The Crystal Tower Guardian reacted quickly, raising its massive crystal battle axe and creating a gust of wind pressure as it cleaved down at the charging shadow.

Chen Guan shifted his feet, his body grazing the axe blade the instant it hit the ground, his scythe drawing a dark arc as it precisely struck the Crystal Tower Guardian in the waist.

clang.

Sparks flew everywhere, making a crisp sound.

A white mark appeared on the waist of the Crystal Tower Guardian, but the next second, the surrounding black crystal patterns flowed, and the white mark disappeared without a trace.

The Crystal Tower Guardian missed its attack, then swept its massive battle axe across the room.

Chen Guan leaped back to avoid it, and raised an eyebrow as he looked at the restored black crystal.

This thing's recovery mechanism is even more cheesy than the previous Crystal Turtle.

A head-on confrontation is a complete waste of energy.

Chen Guan put away his scythe and watched the Crystal Tower Guardian walk towards him again, but he didn't move.

In his mind, the description of the Trickster's sub-skill, "Void Weaving," clearly appeared in the explanation.

"Causes irreversible damage to the target's stable structure..."

Chen Guan murmured to himself, and with a thought, activated his new ability.

Standing at a distance, Li Yan only saw Chen Guan raise his hand, and then the imposing Crystal Tower Guardian stopped moving.

The next moment, a bizarre scene unfolded.

The massive body of the Crystal Tower Guardian began to flicker like a poorly positioned image.

Its outline switches rapidly between real and transparent, and with each blink, a tiny misalignment appears in a certain part of its body.

Click.

A soft sound.

The guard's arm, which was gripping the battle axe, snapped off without warning, falling to the ground and shattering into tiny black crystals.

Click, click.

A chain reaction has begun.

The guard's chest, legs, and head began to develop numerous cracks. These cracks were not caused by external forces, but rather by the collapse of the internal structure.

Its internal support was removed out of thin air.

Finally, with a soft "poof," the smooth, diamond-shaped head shattered, and the entire Crystal Tower Guardian was completely reduced to a pile of meaningless black sand, scattered on the ground.

From the moment Chen Guan raised his hand to the end of the battle, the entire process took less than ten seconds.

"What is this thing...?"

Li Yan heard himself ask a question in a very low voice that was destined to receive no answer.

Are all mythological systems this illogical?

It really is!

After a moment, Li Yan felt relieved.

Chen Guan slowly lowered his hand, feeling a slight dizziness in his head. The consumption of his mental energy was much greater than he had imagined.

But the results were much better than he had imagined.

He walked to the pile of black gravel, where a fist-sized crystal was quietly suspended in the center.

Unlike the previous crystal nuclei, it was not a solid entity, but rather presented a strange state of being translucent, constantly shimmering between reality and illusion.

Chen Guan reached out and effortlessly grasped it in his hand, then stored it in his storage space.

"Awoo?"

The leopard on the ground was finally awakened. It got up, shook its head, and stared blankly at the empty square and the pile of black sand in front of it, its golden vertical pupils full of question marks.

Where are the big ones? Where are the canned goods?

It sniffed the black sand but found no scent, so it listlessly walked back to Chen Guan's feet and rubbed its head against his trouser leg.

Chen Guan smiled and rubbed its head, his gaze passing over the black sand on the ground and looking at the entrance of the black spire in front of him.

At the entrance is a slowly rotating door made of flowing crystals.

"The closer you get to the top of the tower, the stronger the monsters you'll encounter."

Li Yan suddenly spoke up: "If you encounter something you can't handle, retreat immediately."
