Ram didn't have time to mourn Green, because the beluga whale was already slowly swimming towards her.

"There seems to be a life sign over there."

The thought crossed the beluga whale's mind, and its massive snout suddenly opened, thick mist beginning to gather in its throat.

Ram frowned, her hands gripping the magic mirror tightly, trembling slightly.

In the stillness of the night, its faint creaking sound was amplified infinitely.

Seeing this, the beluga whale stopped its charging motion and approached, turning its body to examine the little mouse with its huge pupils.

The small rodent seemed terrified by the giant object in the air, its whole body trembling as if it had been electrocuted, before it stiffened and fell to the ground.

"So it was a mouse? It was as light as dust."

The beluga whale blew a breath that shook the rat's body away, then turned around and headed off to search for Ram's whereabouts.

Ram lay in wait for another half hour, until the beluga whale had completely disappeared into the horizon, before she made her move.

"Are they finally gone?"

Ram's pounding heart finally settled back into her chest.

The surrounding light distorted again, slowly fading out Ram's figure.

Ram collapsed to the ground, releasing the magic mirror from his grasp.

"You little brat, your grip is too strong! You almost squeezed my body out of shape!"

The magic mirror, floating in mid-air, cried out in distress, condemning Ram's crimes.

Ram stared at the scattered wreckage of the dragon chariot in silence. After a moment, she stood up and bowed deeply to the front.

"Mr. Grimm Andersen, Ram will always remember your kindness and thank you for risking your life to save me."

As Ram looked down, he saw the white-furred mouse that was frozen in fear.

At this moment, the rat actually stood upright in human form, hands on its hips, and its right foot rhythmically slapping the ground, as if accepting Ram's worship.

Just as Ram was wondering, the rat spoke.

"Haha, Ram, wasn't I cool just now? So touching, how about you adopt me as your godfather or something?"

A hint of surprise flashed in Ram's eyes, but then he swept away his gloomy mood and smiled as he squatted down and lifted Green, who had turned into a mouse, into the air.

"Mr. Green? You really are a rat!"

"You're the rat."

No sooner had he finished speaking than Green automatically dispelled the transformation spell due to depleted magic power, instantly reverting to human size.

Ram felt an immense weight suddenly appear in his hands, making it impossible to lift.

"Um!"

Ram winced in pain and forcefully pushed Green away.

The magic mirror nodded and said, "You can't die, Master! If you die, I'll slowly turn to stone too! Next time something like this happens, we can just throw that brat out as bait!"

Green's face darkened instantly, and he slammed the magic mirror onto the sandy ground and began rubbing it.

"Ah! Master, no!"

The magic mirror wailed, and finally, unable to withstand the pressure, it transformed into a wisp of light and entered Green's body.
