Underworld: Starting with conquering countless lustful beauties
Chapter 87 Biu! Biu! The world is mine now!
The following afternoon, the security department office was resplendent in gold.
Chen Feng was leaning back in his chair, smoking a cigarette, looking languid.
"Fengzi!"
The office door was pushed open, and Er Gou ran in grinning, carrying a long, narrow black cloth bag that looked like it contained some kind of musical instrument. He locked the door behind him and then mysteriously closed the blinds.
"Got it?" Chen Feng sat up straight and stubbed out his cigarette.
"Hehe, you can trust me to handle things." Er Gou placed the black cloth bag on the table and carefully unzipped it.
A cold, metallic luster came into view.
It was a double-barreled shotgun with the barrel sawed off, commonly known as a "shotgun." Although the gun body was somewhat worn, it was very clean and emitted a faint smell of gun oil.
There was also a box of bullets next to it, with a red plastic shell, and it was quite heavy.
"I got this from that old hunter up north who deals in mountain goods," Er Gou said in a low voice. "Its power is undeniable; one shot at close range can blow a wild boar's head apart. I've tested it; the firing pin is incredibly accurate."
Chen Feng reached out and picked up the gun; its heavy weight immediately made him feel much more at ease.
He skillfully opened the breech, inspected it, and then nodded in satisfaction.
"How much?"
"This number," Er Gou held up five fingers, "five thousand. The old man was initially hesitant to sell, but I told him it was for warding off evil spirits and I added a little more money before he agreed."
Chen Feng took a wad of cash from the drawer and threw it to Er Gou: "This is ten thousand. Five thousand is for the gun, and the remaining five thousand is your hard-earned money. Take the brothers out for a good meal."
"Thanks, Fengzi!" Er Gou grinned, stuffed the money into his pocket, and pointed at the gun. "This thing makes too much noise. Don't show it unless absolutely necessary."
"I know." Chen Feng put the gun back into the bag and locked it in the safe. "This is for survival. As long as Mad Dog Qiang doesn't drive us to the brink, this thing will never see the light of day."
With this trump card, Chen Feng felt completely at ease.
The next two days passed by unusually peacefully.
Chen Feng was like a patient hunter, sharpening his claws. At night, he would stay at the Golden Palace, listening to Monkey's reports on various matters while secretly training Da Zhuang and his newly recruited security guards.
He didn't rush to cause trouble for Mad Dog Qiang, nor did he rush to force Lao Li to sign the contract.
He is waiting.
Waiting for an opportunity, waiting for the mad dog to lose its composure first.
After all, it wasn't him who was anxious now, but Old Li, and even more so, Mad Dog Qiang who was watching the meat fly away from his mouth.
That evening, the resplendent security department office was filled with smoke.
Chen Feng was studying a newly bought map of Donghai City with Er Gou. Suddenly, the cell phone on the table started vibrating wildly, breaking the silence in the room. The screen displayed an unfamiliar number.
"Feed?"
"Boss Chen! It's me, Old Li from the sand quarry!" Old Li's anxious voice came from the other end of the phone. "Mad Dog Qiang's men are blocking the door again! There are more than a dozen of them this time, saying they'll smash my equipment if I don't get an explanation tonight! If you can deal with Mad Dog Qiang's men, things will be easier to discuss regarding the quarry."
Chen Feng's eyes suddenly turned cold, and his grip on the phone tightened slightly.
"Uncle Li, don't worry about me." Chen Feng stood up, stubbed out his cigarette, a cold glint in his eyes. "Lock the door and don't go out. I'll be there in twenty minutes."
After hanging up the phone, Chen Feng did not hesitate at all and immediately dialed Dazhuang and Monkey's numbers, asking them to bring their men to meet at the foot of Qinglong Mountain.
"Bring your weapons, the more the merrier." Chen Feng's voice was as cold as ice. "If we can't settle this tonight, Fenghua Building Materials will never be able to hold their head high in Nancheng again."
"Ergou, grab your weapons, let's go!"
"Damn! This day has finally come!" Er Gou grinned as he hoisted the steel pipe onto his shoulder.
Half an hour later, at the fork in the road at the foot of Qinglong Mountain.
Three vans lined up in a row, their headlights gleaming. Da Zhuang and Monkey were already there with more than twenty of their brothers, each carrying weapons—steel pipes, baseball bats, and machetes—which gleamed coldly under the streetlights.
Chen Feng parked his car, opened the door, and strode out, his gaze sweeping over the crowd.
"How's the situation?"
"Mad Dog Qiang sent over a dozen men," Monkey whispered, leaning closer. "They've blocked the gate to Old Li's battlefield and are swaggering around there. Mad Dog Qiang didn't come; looks like he doesn't take this seriously."
Chen Feng sneered, "Didn't take it seriously? That's perfect, I'll teach him a lesson tonight."
He waved his hand: "Let's go!"
The convoy drove up the winding mountain road, and a few minutes later, the gate of Lao Li's sand pit came into view.
Sure enough, several motorcycles were parked haphazardly at the gate, and a dozen or so thugs in floral shirts were sitting around drinking and playing drinking games, looking completely fearless.
Dust billowed on the mountain road, and the car headlights pierced the darkness like sharp swords.
Before even reaching the entrance to the sand pit, bright lights could be seen in the distance. Two huge yellow bulldozers were parked across the iron gate, their engines roaring, their buckets raised high, poised to smash. Under the bright spotlights, more than twenty thugs wielding clubs and machetes were shouting and yelling.
"Old Li! You're asking for it, aren't you? Hiding inside like a turtle?"
"I'll count to three, and if you don't open the door, I'll just raz this lousy house to the ground and drag your slutty wife out for a good laugh!"
"three!"
"two!"
The leader was a chubby guy wearing a black vest that revealed his full-arm blue dragon tattoo, and he was shouting wildly through a megaphone. He was also carrying a machete, which he used to chop at the iron gate, sending sparks flying.
Just as that word "one" was about to be uttered—
"squeak--!!!"
A screeching sound of brakes ripped through the night sky.
The three Jinbei vans executed a beautiful drift, smoothly blocking the group of thugs' path. Their high beams blazed on, instantly blinding the group.
"Splash—"
The car door opened, and Dazhuang jumped out first, followed by twenty burly men dressed in uniform black security uniforms and carrying steel pipes. Their movements were synchronized, forming a dark and menacing mass.
Chen Feng was the last to get off the bus.
He was wearing a sharp gray suit, a freshly lit Hongtashan cigarette dangling from his mouth, his hands in his pockets, as he slowly walked to the front of the line.
"Who is it? Don't you want to live? Meddling in other people's business?"
The fat man squinted, shielding his eyes from the light with his hand, and turned around cursing. When he saw the group of people who had come over, his arrogance subsided slightly, but he did not back down.
To rise to this position under Mad Dog Qiang, Fatty's strength wasn't the only factor. He's 1.75 meters tall, broad-shouldered and thick-waisted; one stomp of his butt could kill someone. He also possesses genuine martial arts skills.
"Which gang are you from?" Fatty gripped his knife tighter, his eyes sweeping over the group. "Who the hell are you? We're on a business trip. Get lost if you know what's good for you, or don't blame me for being ruthless!"
Chen Feng exhaled a smoke ring, looked at Fatty through the swirling smoke, and a contemptuous smile curled at the corner of his mouth.
"You're the chubby kid?"
"I'll teach you a lesson!"
Calling him Fatty would have been normal enough, but adding "Little" makes it sound a bit cute, not imposing at all. That immediately ignited my anger. Only his parents had ever dared to call him that since he was a child—who do you think you are?!
Chen Feng walked forward slowly, his leather shoes making a crisp "clack-clack" sound as they stepped on the gravel.
"Little Fatty, go back and tell Mad Dog Qiang that this land now belongs to the Chen family."
