Underworld: Starting with conquering countless lustful beauties
Chapter 7, Room 888
The two guests exchanged a glance, found it boring, finished urinating, and left.
After cleaning the men's restroom, Chen Feng went to the women's restroom. The women's restroom was relatively clean, but the trash cans were overflowing with used sanitary napkins and tissues, as well as several empty wine bottles. He cleaned it up, mopped the floor, and polished the mirror until it shone.
While doing these tasks, his mind was blank. Not numb, but a deliberate emptiness—suppressing his emotions to the lowest level, leaving only his body to move mechanically.
Children who grow up in the mountains are best at enduring. Enduring hunger, enduring cold, enduring the scorn of others. Endurance is not weakness, but rather a way to conserve strength so that when the time comes, a single strike will be decisive.
For the next week, Chen Feng lived like a shadow in the most opulent and luxurious lower level.
Blackie had long wanted to win over Lin Fang, but Lin Fang completely ignored him. So she couldn't stand Chen Feng no matter what, as if she was determined to destroy him. She dumped all the dirtiest, most tiring, and most offensive jobs on him. Unclogging sewers, cleaning up vomit, and even going to the back alley in the middle of the night to deal with the excrement left by drunkards.
Everyone thought this big, dumb guy would be forced to leave, or that he would explode and have his legs broken and be thrown out.
But Chen Feng did not.
...
It was Friday, the busiest time of day for business.
Blackie, a cigarette dangling from his lips, tossed a mop to Chen Feng with a wicked grin: "Someone threw up in the VIP area on the second floor. Go clean it up. That's the VIP area. If there's even a hint of smell left, I'll dock your entire next month's salary."
Without saying a word, Chen Feng picked up the bucket and mop, turned around and went upstairs.
By the time I got to the VIP area on the second floor, it was already dark. The neon lights outside the window came on, and the whole street seemed to come alive, shimmering with color.
The VIP restrooms were luxuriously decorated, with marble walls, gold-plated faucets, and even scented toilet paper. As soon as Chen Feng pushed open the door, he heard suppressed sobs coming from one of the stalls.
It was a woman's cry, very low, but you could hear the despair in it.
Chen Feng paused for a moment, then continued with his work—wiping the sink, changing the trash bags, and mopping the floor.
The door to the cubicle suddenly opened, and a girl staggered out. She looked to be under twenty, wearing a waitress uniform, but her skirt was torn, her hair was disheveled, there were tear stains on her face, and there was blood at the corner of her mouth.
Upon seeing Chen Feng, she shrank back in fright and crossed her arms over her chest.
Chen Feng glanced at her, said nothing, and continued mopping the floor.
The girl paused for a few seconds, then suddenly whispered, "Can...can you help me?"
Chen Feng stopped what he was doing: "Help with what?"
"I...I was beaten by a customer," the girl said, her voice trembling. "He wanted me to spend the night with him, but I refused, so he..."
She couldn't continue speaking, and tears started falling again.
Chen Feng remained silent. He didn't understand the rules of the nightclub, but Lin Fang had said: "Mind your own business here."
Seeing that he didn't speak, the girl's eyes dimmed, and she shook her head with a wry smile: "Never mind, you're new here too, right? You can't help me."
She straightened her clothes and tried to walk out, but her legs went weak and she almost fell.
Chen Feng reached out to support her. The girl was very light, like a leaf.
"Which private room?" he asked.
The girl looked up, a glimmer of hope in her eyes: "Bye-bye. But don't go, that customer is fierce, and he's familiar with Blackie..."
Chen Feng let go of the mop and picked it up: "I'll go clean the toilet."
The girl froze, then gave a wry smile: "Oh... thank you."
She staggered away.
Chen Feng continued mopping the floor, his movements slow and meticulous. As he reached the doorway, he heard a commotion coming from the hallway outside.
"Damn it, you're asking for it! I paid money to have fun, not to watch you cry!" a man roared.
Then came the girl's pleading: "Mr. Wang, I really can't... please..."
"No? Then get out! But you're not getting your table fee tonight! And where's your manager? Call your manager here!"
Chen Feng pushed open the door and saw several people gathered in the corridor. A bald, middle-aged man was grabbing the girl's hair and slamming her head against the wall. The girl's forehead was bleeding, and she was crying her heart out.
Two men in black suits, presumably the bald man's bodyguards, stood nearby, arms crossed, watching the commotion.
Several waiters stood at a distance, not daring to approach.
Blackie arrived as well, wearing a forced smile: "Mr. Wang, calm down. This girl is being unreasonable. I'll get you a different one."
The bald man glared: "Change? I want her! If she doesn't get into my bed today, you can forget about running this place!"
Dark-skinned man's face darkened. He turned to the girl and yelled, "Xiaoya, what the hell are you pretending to be innocent for? Apologize to President Wang right now!"
The girl shook her head, crying, "Brother Blackie, I really can't... I'm still in school, I'm just here for a part-time job..."
"Part-time job?" the bald man sneered. "Coming to a place like this for a part-time job, isn't that just selling yourself? What are you pretending for!"
He raised his hand to strike again.
Chen Feng walked over at that moment.
He was still holding a mop, the dirty water in the bucket sloshing around. His steps were unhurried, as if he were just passing by.
Dark-skinned man saw him and frowned: "What are you doing here? Go back and clean the toilets!"
Chen Feng ignored him, walked up to the bald man, and stopped.
The bald man was a head shorter than him and had to look up at him: "Who are you?"
Chen Feng looked down at the girl. Xiaoya's face was covered in blood, her eyes were swollen shut, and she was trembling.
"She said she didn't want to," Chen Feng said, his voice flat.
The bald man was taken aback, then burst into laughter: "Unwilling? Who do you think you are? Who gave you the right to speak?"
Blackie rushed over and pulled Chen Feng away: "Are you fucking crazy? This is Boss Wang! A big client! Get out of here!"
Chen Feng didn't move, looking at the bald man: "Let her go."
Three words, and it's all explained clearly.
The corridor fell silent for a moment.
The bald man's face darkened: "Kid, do you know who I am?"
"I don't know," Chen Feng said. "And I don't want to know."
"You—" The bald man's face turned pale with anger. He waved to his bodyguard, "Beat him! I'll take responsibility if he dies!"
Two bodyguards rushed forward. Both were trained fighters, and their movements were swift; one threw a punch at the face, and the other kicked in the stomach.
Chen Feng did not dodge.
He raised his left hand, grabbed the first bodyguard's fist, and twisted it.
With a sharp "crack," the bodyguard screamed as his wrist bent at an unnatural angle.
At the same time, he kicked out with his right foot, striking the second bodyguard squarely in the knee. With another "crack," the man fell to his knees, clutching his leg and howling in pain.
The whole process took less than three seconds.
Chen Feng released his grip, and the first bodyguard collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath in pain.
The bald man was dumbfounded.
Blackie was dumbfounded.
The waiters watching stared wide-eyed, unable to believe it.
Chen Feng bent down, put the mop into the bucket of water, dipped it in the dirty water, and then picked it up.
The mop was still dripping water, leaving rings of stains on the marble floor.
He looked at the bald man: "Now, can you release them?"
The bald man loosened his grip, and Xiaoya collapsed to the ground.
Chen Feng ignored them and helped Xiaoya up, asking, "Can you walk?"
Xiaoya nodded blankly.
Chen Feng helped her towards the staff rest area. As they passed Hei Pi, Hei Pi finally realized what was happening and growled in a low voice, "Chen Feng! You've fucking gotten yourself into big trouble!"
Chen Feng didn't stop walking: "I've finished cleaning the toilets, I'm going to hand it in."
Dark-skinned man trembled with rage, pointing at his retreating figure: "You...you just wait!"
Chen Feng did not turn around.
He helped Xiaoya to the rest area, found her a chair to sit down, and poured her a cup of hot water.
Xiaoya held the cup, her hands still trembling, tears streaming down her face. "Th...thank you..."
Chen Feng pulled a pack of tissues from his pocket—the same pack Lin Fang had used to wipe his mouth that morning, and there were still a few left. He took one out and handed it to her.
"Wipe it off."
Xiaoya took it and wiped the blood and tears from her face.
Chen Feng stood beside her, waiting until she stopped crying before asking, "Can you still go to work?"
Xiaoya shook her head: "I...I want to go home."
"Then go home," Chen Feng said. "Don't come tomorrow."
Xiaoya looked up at him, her eyes red: "But... the performance fee hasn't been paid yet, and this month's rent..."
Chen Feng was silent for a few seconds, then took out the five yuan Lin Fang had given him that morning—he hadn't used it yet. He placed the money in Xiao Ya's hand: "Take this for now."
Xiaoya was stunned: "This...this won't do..."
"Take it." Chen Feng's tone left no room for refusal. "Go home."
Xiaoya bit her lip, tears welling up again, and nodded heavily, "Yes!"
She stood up and staggered out. Reaching the door, she glanced back at Chen Feng, her eyes filled with gratitude and worry.
Chen Feng stood there until she left before turning around to pack up the mop and bucket.
Just as he reached the toilet door, Blackie and two other men blocked his way.
"Chen Feng." Dark-skinned man's face was ashen. "You're fired. Now, immediately, get out of here."
Chen Feng looked at him: "Where's your salary?"
"Salary?" Blackie laughed angrily. "You fucking injured Boss Wang's bodyguard, and you still want salary? You're being lenient by not having to pay for his medical bills!"
Two security guards surrounded them, each holding a rubber baton.
Chen Feng put down the bucket and stood up straight: "I want to see Sister Fang."
"Sister Fang?" Blackie sneered. "Even Sister Fang can't protect you! Boss Wang is a regular customer here, spending hundreds of thousands a year! What are you, a country bumpkin, to him?"
He waved his hand: "Beat them! Then throw them out!"
Two security guards rushed up.
Chen Feng did not fight back.
The rubber baton pounded against his back and shoulders with dull thuds. He gritted his teeth, enduring the pain, his eyes fixed on Blackie.
Dark-skinned man felt uneasy under his gaze and roared, "Attack! Attack him to death!"
After being hit a few more times, blood seeped from the corner of Chen Feng's mouth. He wiped it away and suddenly laughed.
That smile was cold, like the edge of a knife.
Blackie's heart skipped a beat: "What are you laughing at?"
Chen Feng didn't answer, but looked behind him.
