"Chen Feng! Get the hell out here!"

Mad Dog Qiang stood on the roof of an SUV, yelling through a megaphone with a desperate, ruthless tone, "Tonight we'll settle this once and for all! If you're got a man's got a penis, don't be a coward!"

Chen Feng stood by the second-floor window, watching the dense array of car lights outside the sand field weave together a daytime scene. Twenty or thirty vehicles carried over a hundred desperate men wielding steel pipes and machetes, with two bulldozers rolling in front like giant beasts. His brows furrowed into a knot.

"Brother Feng, they're going to launch a full-scale attack!" Monkey's face was deathly pale, his grip on the steel pipe turning white. "We only have fifty-odd men; a direct confrontation will definitely put us at a disadvantage. Should we... call the police?"

"It's useless." Chen Feng shook his head, his eyes as cold as ice. "Mad Dog Qiang dared to make such a big commotion; he must have already pulled strings. Calling the police won't help."

"What should we do then? Fight them?" Er Gou spat and gripped the steel pipe in his hand tightly.

"boom--!!!"

Before the words were even finished, two bulldozers roared into action, their massive buckets slamming into the iron gate of the sandpit with tremendous force. The cast-iron bolts creaked under the strain, sparks flying, and the next second they snapped with a loud crash, the twisted iron gate being torn away like a piece of paper.

"Let's fight!" Chen Feng roared, grabbing a thick, solid steel rod from the corner of the wall—a weapon he had specially prepared, heavy in his hand, carrying a chilling aura as it cut through the wind. He rushed downstairs first, and although the fifty-odd brothers behind him looked fearful, they gritted their teeth and followed after him, roaring as they raised their weapons.

"kill--!"

The two groups of people collided like two torrents at the entrance of the battlefield. The crisp sound of steel pipes hitting bone, the dull thud of machetes slicing through flesh, and the screams and roars of the dying instantly intertwined into a hellish cacophony.

Like a tiger breaking free of its shackles, Chen Feng wielded the steel rod with incredible speed and precision, creating a whistling wind. A burly man wielding a machete charged towards him, grinning maliciously as he aimed for Chen Feng's head. Chen Feng neither dodged nor evaded; instead, he slid his wrist, and the steel rod struck the man's wrist precisely. A cracking sound rang out, and the burly man screamed as he dropped the machete. Before he could even retreat, Chen Feng kicked him in the chest, sending him flying three meters away, where he crashed into the tracks of a bulldozer and fell silent.

"Watch out, Feng!" Da Zhuang's shout had barely faded when a steel pipe came flying from the side. Chen Feng whirled around, his steel rod blocking the attack with a loud clang that made the attacker's hand go numb. The attacker's arm was still tingling from the impact, and before he could react, Chen Feng had already closed in, his steel rod sweeping across and slamming into the attacker's knee. The attacker collapsed to his knees with a thud, howling and rolling on the ground clutching his leg.

Da Zhuang's steel pipe wasn't idle either. He possessed immense strength, and a single blow could knock the opponent's weapon out of their hand. A desperate criminal circled behind him, intending to ambush his injured forehead. Da Zhuang, as if he had eyes in the back of his head, suddenly turned around, and the steel pipe struck the criminal's nose directly. Blood gushed out instantly, and the criminal screamed in pain, clutching his face. Da Zhuang then stomped on his chest and delivered another blow, knocking him completely unconscious.

But Mad Dog Qiang brought far too many men; over a hundred surged forward like a tidal wave, quickly surrounding Chen Feng's group of fifty-odd men. Each man had to deal with two or three enemies simultaneously. Gradually, the Fenghua Building Materials brothers began to tire, screams of pain rising and falling, their defensive line being compressed step by step until they retreated to the piles of materials in the sand pit.

"Watch out!" Er Gou's pupils shrank suddenly. Without thinking, he lunged to the side and used his back to shield Chen Feng!

"Pfft—!"

The machete cleaved deep into Er Gou's shoulder, the blade almost halfway in. Blood gushed out instantly, staining his clothes red and splattering onto Chen Feng's back. The biting cold and the strong smell of blood instantly gripped Chen Feng's nerves.

"Er Gou!" Chen Feng's eyes were bloodshot and he turned around abruptly, his anger erupting like a volcano. Without the slightest hesitation, he swung the solid steel rod in his hand with tremendous force at Feng Biao!

"Bang!"

With a dull thud, before Feng Biao could even scream, his body fell straight down, completely unconscious.

The defensive line was on the verge of collapse. Brothers were falling one by one, and those remaining were all wounded, barely holding on. Chen Feng knew that if this continued, they would all perish here. He gritted his teeth, preparing to use his last ounce of strength to lead the remaining brothers out—

"Waaaaah—waaaah—"

The piercing siren suddenly approached from afar, like a death knell, instantly shattering the night sky. The siren came too quickly and too precisely, as if it had been waiting all along, appearing at the most crucial moment.

Several police cars sped in, their red and blue flashing lights casting an eerie and blinding glow over the scene, quickly forming a perimeter. Dozens of fully armed SWAT officers jumped out of the vehicles, wielding riot shields and batons, looking menacing.

"Stop it! Put your hands on your heads and squat down!"

The team was led by a middle-aged police officer with a hooked nose—Zhang Qiang, the deputy captain of the city's public security brigade, and Liu Dapao's confidant. His voice was icy cold and carried an unquestionable air of authority.

Upon seeing the police arrive, Mad Dog Qiang's men seemed to receive some kind of coded signal, instantly concealing their weapons. A few of the more alert ones immediately lay down on the ground, clutching their arms and legs and wailing, "Officers! Help! Murder! They're trying to kill us!"

Mad Dog Qiang was even more swift. He threw down his machete, raised his hands, and instantly put on a pitiful expression, shouting at Zhang Qiang, "Captain Zhang! You've finally arrived! We came here sincerely to talk business with Boss Chen, but he didn't even bother to find out what happened, and he brought his men with weapons to beat us to death! Look how many of our brothers have been injured!"

Zhang Qiang walked over with a cold face, not even glancing at the groaning man on the ground. He went straight past Mad Dog Qiang and stared intently at Chen Feng, who was covered in blood and still tightly gripping a steel rod.

"A gang fight involving weapons and assault is an extremely serious offense!" Zhang Qiang waved his hand, his tone leaving no room for argument. "Arrest the ringleader!"

"Why are you arresting us? They broke down the door first! They attacked first!" Da Zhuang roared, his eyes bloodshot, clutching his bleeding forehead. He tried to rush forward to argue, but was blocked by two SWAT officers.

"Shut up!" Zhang Qiang glared at him fiercely, pointed to the scene, and said, "I saw it with my own eyes. You were armed, and their men were lying all over the place. That's irrefutable evidence! Whatever you have to say, we'll talk back at the station!"

Several SWAT officers rushed forward immediately, ignoring the bloodstains on Chen Feng's body, and roughly pressed down on his arms. The cold handcuffs snapped shut on his hands, and the metallic chill instantly spread throughout his body.

Chen Feng did not resist.

Looking at Zhang Qiang's expressionless face, and then at the sinister smile that Mad Dog Qiang couldn't hide in the distance, he instantly understood everything.

This was a setup from the very beginning.

It's a dead end that not only wants to smash his place and ruin his business, but also wants to send him to prison with no chance of ever getting out of trouble.

Mad Dog Qiang slowly walked up to Chen Feng, deliberately lowering his voice to a whisper only the two of them could hear: "You little brat, aren't you so good at fighting? Aren't you good at using your cunning? What good is being good at fighting? In this world, it's all about connections and power! You're just a nobody with no backing!"

After saying that, he contemptuously patted Chen Feng's blood-stained face, his smug look extremely offensive.

Chen Feng stared at him coldly, saying nothing, but clenching his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

He was then forcibly put into a police car by SWAT officers. As the car door closed, he took one last look in the direction of the battlefield—where his wounded brothers lay, where everything he had worked so hard to achieve lay.
