He became the White-Haired Evil God after wearing the Seven Curses Rings.

When the curtain of water filled his vision, Xie Bai's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Is that the boundless sea? It doesn't look much different from a regular great flood..."

Just as Xie Bai was thinking this, the whole world suddenly shook again.

Xie Bai turned his head and saw that the same water curtain had appeared on the other side of the world.

To be precise, it's from all directions.

A vast curtain of water, large enough to cover the entire continent, enveloped the world at the same time, as if it were trapped within a magnificent city wall.

But it's not over yet.

Immediately afterwards, Xie Bai felt the world shake violently.

Looking down, she realized that the surface of the continent was already covered by a layer of water, which was rising at an extremely fast speed.

This time it surged up from underground.

Since the area below hasn't been overlooked either, then the area above...

Xie Bai looked up and found that the sky was now covered by a curtain of water that had fallen from the sky.

All the water curtains converged from all directions, forming a massive water prison that enveloped the entire world.

Watching the water prison gradually shrink inward and constantly squeeze the remaining space, Xie Bai finally understood the true meaning of the boundless sea.

She had originally thought it was the kind of ocean that stretched out to the horizon, but it turned out to be an ocean that didn't even have a horizon, a truly boundless ocean?

There's no need to call it the sea; just call it the Water World.

Xie Bai roughly sensed the world and found that the situation outside was just as he had imagined. All the space had been completely filled with water, and there was no so-called boundary.

Once the last bit of space was filled with water, the boundless sea finally stopped its activity.

Xie Bai swung his arm and, apart from feeling a slight coolness, did not notice anything else unusual.

"If it's just a simple enclosure of water, then at least many aquatic creatures can survive. I don't see any place that could endanger the gods."

"However, it could also be because I am immune to the disaster I release, or perhaps this boundless sea has other properties that I am unaware of."

Just as Xie Bai was about to get up to study the boundless sea, she suddenly noticed that the surrounding light seemed to be decreasing rapidly.

After investigating the cause, she discovered that the boundless sea also enveloped the sun of this world.

Theoretically speaking, water does not affect the sun's combustion; on the contrary, it may even contribute to combustion to some extent.

But the water in this boundless sea seems to be somewhat unusual.

At the interface between the sun's surface and the boundless sea, one can see the boundless sea gradually eroding inward, turning the scorching sun's surface into water just like the boundless sea.

As time passed, the entire massive source of light was swallowed up by the boundless sea, transforming into a body of water from which no trace of its past could be seen.

If the sun is swallowed up, then the continent below won't fare much better.

When the world completely darkened, the continent where Xie Bai could have settled had also disappeared.

Looking down, it was a truly bottomless abyss.

If this scenario were viewed by someone else, they would probably still be suffering from the same illness even without the deep sea.

At this point, all the characteristics of the boundless sea were finally revealed to Xie Bai.

Xie Bai took a look at the world as it was now.

It was empty and quiet, without the slightest sign of life, not even God.

The whole world seemed to have returned to its original, most primitive state, where only the purest indifference could be felt.

"Is this... what it looked like at the beginning of the era?"

Is this what she sees before her eyes at the very beginning of the era, when there was nothing at all?

It was only then that Xie Bai realized that there was not a single superfluous word in the phrase "the boundless sea at the beginning of the era".

The true power of this apocalyptic disaster is not simply flooding.

The true power of this apocalyptic disaster lies in resetting the entire world to its original state.

"In that case, does that mean we can stop playing on Earth?"

Given its current characteristics, let alone a tiny blue planet, the entire universe might suffer as well.

Keep in mind that this is only the first apocalyptic disaster; there are five more disasters of this intensity to come.

After it was taken out, the Book of Truth immediately turned to a new page.

The actual intensity of the apocalyptic disaster depends on the strength of the divine essence consumed. The divine essence of the old gods, possessing integrity and orthodoxy, is undoubtedly the pinnacle of divine essences. The apocalyptic disaster released according to the divine essence of the old gods has long exceeded the intensity of normal specifications.

Under normal circumstances, the intensity of a global disaster unleashed solely by the malice of the world would not exceed that of an apocalyptic disaster caused by a demigod.

Based on the current level of disaster intensity, we can deduce that the corresponding global disaster would be a flood covering 1.2 kilometers of land.

Looking at the answer given by the Book of Truth, Xie Bai nodded thoughtfully.

"Oh...is that what you mean? But it seems like all I can bring out is the divine spark of an old god. I can't summon any calamities of lower strength either."

【…】

"Only a 1.2-kilometer flood? Although it's still deadly, at least Earth itself will be alright, so there's still some hope."

"By the way, since you know so much, can you just tell me what the remaining disasters look like?"

The Book of Truth remained silent for a moment, then turned to another page.

[Answering directly would exceed the scope of current authority; it is recommended to reach a conclusion through on-site deduction.]

"I see... Alright then, we'll speed things up from here on out."

After saying that, Xie Bai immediately left the place and went to the second timeline she had prepared.

Just like before, Xie Bai took out an old god's divine spark and began to activate the Doomsday Apocalypse.

Day of Annihilation

Unlike the Boundless Sea, which required a cutscene, the activation of the Annihilation Day was quite swift. The moment the Old God's divine essence dissipated, Xie Bai's vision went completely black.

"Will all the light be lost in an instant this time?"

Xie Bai scratched his head.

Since there was no light, Xie Bai couldn't see what was happening.

But the next second, she realized that something was wrong with this world.

It's not only very dark here, but also very empty.

She felt almost nothing; it was even more terrifying than the boundless sea she had just experienced.

She tried to break out of her normal perception and use the power of the void authority to understand what was happening.

"Hmm? Wait a minute..."

"What do you mean by 'all the photons in this world disappeared in an instant'? Does that mean not only visible light disappeared?"

The current state of the world is somewhat beyond her expectations.

Although the true gods of this world are still alive, due to the collapse of reality, they can only remain in their own abstract concepts.

Furthermore, due to the disappearance of most abstract concepts, many true gods are also gradually heading towards extinction.
