There are many spirits in the mountains, most of whom are gentle in nature. After learning that she, the lady, was in charge, more and more people came to pay their respects and seek her protection.

On this day, Bai Yeying was meditating in a newly opened quiet room deep inside the cave.

Before the words were finished, a gust of wind carrying a fishy smell swept into the cave passage, causing the fluorite lamps embedded in the walls to sway erratically.

Bai Yeying's eyes narrowed, and with a wave of her hand, the Shadow Whip hanging on the stone wall flew into her hand with a "whoosh".

She walked quickly outside, and Huang Wu and the little demons Cui Luo Teng Han, who had rushed over upon hearing the commotion, followed closely behind, their faces filled with fear.

Upon exiting the cave, they indeed saw a colossal creature standing there.

The bear-headed, human-bodied monster was nearly two zhang tall, wielding a spiked club. When it slammed its club into the ground, several cracks appeared in the earth.

That display of power terrified the little demons behind Bai Yeying, turning their faces pale and trembling with fear.

"So you're that little wench who took over my territory?"

The Black Wind Monster sized up Bai Yeying, especially noticing her slender figure and beautiful face. His yellowish-brown eyes gleamed with lust: "Such delicate skin, daring to act like a king on my mountain? Perfect, I'll capture her and make her my cave-dwelling wife, to bear me a litter of cubs!"

Behind it followed seven or eight lewd-looking little demons, who were laughing and joking, spewing vulgarities.

Bai Yeying felt a surge of anger, but she didn't immediately lash out. Instead, she gripped the Black Shadow Whip tightly, the tip of which gently rubbed against the ground at her feet.
