The dream of becoming a Pokémon master

Knowing that this was the Crimson Lotus Dojo, Kyosuke felt utterly bored.

I originally wanted to challenge the Crimson Gym while I was at it, but not now!

My current feeling is like discovering that after searching for a dream for a long time, it turns out to be Ditto.

Crimson Lotus Dojo, blacklisted!

Kyosuke silently crossed out the Crimson Lotus Dojo in his mind.

"Hey old man, let's go, we've come to the wrong place."

"Oh wow..." Charizard also lost interest.

Blaine below was getting impatient. "You've come all this way, why don't you at least challenge the gym? Why are you leaving already?"

After Kyosuke and Charizard landed, Blaine asked, "How did you see through my disguise? No one has ever noticed before."

Kyosuke: "I just have the eyes of a normal person."

This is not a normal person's answer at all!

Blaine then asked, "How did you know about the Moltres?"

Kyosuke: "I have my own channels."

It's just "no comment"!

Seeing that Blaine was about to ask another question, Kyosuke interrupted, "So, can you tell me about Moltres now?"

"You'll have to defeat me first," Blaine replied.

As for being defeated? That's not going to happen. At worst, we'll just bring out our main force.

"I suspect you don't know anything about Moltres at all, and you're just lying to me. I'm leaving now; there are plenty of shady gyms in Kanto anyway." Kyosuke didn't want to talk to this old man whose brain wasn't working properly anymore, and walked towards Charizard to leave.

"Then let's begin!" Kyosuke instantly moved to the other end of the battlefield.

Seeing Kyosuke's decisive and efficient manner, Blaine couldn't help but sigh that he was indeed a young man and should be very suitable for Fire-type Pokémon.

"Sabrina, League Veteran, Crimson Gym Leader, I am Trainer Kyosuke." Kyosuke answered quickly, "Then shall we begin!"

"As for the Nine-Tails..." Kyosuke hesitated for a moment, but then made his choice. "Ryuuji, I'm counting on you!"

Although he really wanted to use the assassin to take on three opponents at once, Kyosuke always felt that there was a trap involved.

Blaine was also a little surprised to see Kyosuke's Pokémon: "Dragonite, that's a very rare Pokémon."

"Ryuu, Water Wave!" Kyosuke used the first strike without hesitation!

"Long'er, get out of the way quickly!"

The Dratini quickly twisted its body to avoid the vortex of fire.

In his usual training, Kyosuke's most frequent training exercise was "avoidance".

"Although it's strong, it's not invincible. Where does your unease come from?" Kyosuke roughly knew the level of the opponent's Pokémon, but something still felt off.

Dratini tried to use Rain Dance, but failed!

"Trying to bring rain inside a volcano? That's impossible. Even in Pokémon battles, you have to be mindful of your surroundings," Blaine instructed Kyosuke. "My turn, Ninetales, use Flame Whirlpool again!"

"The environment here is like a perfect sunny day for Fire-type Pokémon... In that case..."

"Ryuu, surf across!"

A large number of waves appeared out of nowhere, but they were much weaker than they were outside. Dratini rode the waves and rushed toward the vortex of fire!

Even if you can break the water's ripples, it's still not very realistic to use a fire vortex against surf.

The surfing weakened slightly, and it continued its charge towards the Nine-Tails.

"Nine-Tails, Flame Charge! Finish them off!"

He summoned Water Pulse and used Water Tail to break it. Some of the water rushed towards Kurama, and the rest was used to enhance Surf!

But Kyosuke had already determined the outcome of the match with his own eyes!

When the steam dissipated, the Nine-Tailed Fox had been defeated, and Long'er was covered in wounds and panting heavily.

"Thank you for your hard work, Nine-Tails." Blaine retracted the Nine-Tails and then said to Kyosuke, "What is the hottest flame in the world, magma within magma, a blazing flame that burns automatically within it?"

"A platypus?"

"You truly are a genius in the world of riddles! Now, come out, you platypus!"
