Chapter 95 Red-Eye Hotel

Red Eye Hotel, the most famous eerie hotel around ██ amusement park, bar none.

Those that tried to become more famous than Red Eye Hotel either had inferior decor and service or were simply no match for Red Eye Hotel in terms of overall strength. They were wiped out along with their territory and merged into Red Eye Hotel.

The owner's real name is unknown, and he has red eyes, so people simply call him Red Eyes, following the name of the hotel.

There are many industries for red-eyes, but when it comes to their favorite industry, it has to be hotels.

Every now and then, he would disguise himself as a strange bartender and work at the nightclub, and this time was no exception.

It's 6 PM now. The dance hall only opens after 7 PM, but the facilities are already running. The dazzling neon lights sway erratically, and the rousing music is deafening. Red Eyes wipes his golden wine glass, sways slightly, and squints at the center of the room as if there are many people in front of him.

Red-eye hotels don't need cleaners; the rules within the building at midnight every day will restore the scene to its original state, removing both the smell of blood and the bloodstains.

Even so, Red Eye still enjoys washing the wine glasses himself, as it's an important tool for him to interact with his customers.

"The artifacts of the Duchy of Hector are still so exquisite; it was worth the trouble of robbing them."

He carefully placed the cleaned gin glasses into the suspended glass cabinet, where the glasses were so exquisite they seemed to belong in a museum or a wealthy person's collection.

Red-Eye was admiring his spoils when a discordant note rang out as the door slammed open, disturbing his peace: "Red-Eye, someone has specifically asked for you by name. They don't seem to have any good intentions."

"If it's ██ Amusement Park coming to seek justice for the tourists from the day before yesterday, just tell them to get lost. This is a creepy hotel; if you dare to stay, be prepared to pay with your life," Red Eyes said irritably. "Breaking the rules and we can't kill them? Do you really think we're a normal horror-themed hotel?! We're creepy, not ghost stories! We don't use rules as entertainment with humans!"

As mentioned before, the strange entities near ██ Amusement Park, envious of its high foot traffic, have been posing as rest areas affiliated with ██ Amusement Park, hoping to gain a share of the profits.

The amusement park was naturally unhappy that the weirdo was using its name to kill people. The two sides had fought more than once, but the weirdo was very good at defensive battles, so the two sides were locked in a stalemate.

The stalemate led to the discovery of human diversity through strange tales.

The protests by human tourists against the forced demolition of the eerie hotel, a phenomenon associated with ghost stories, are partly driven by the Ghostly Human Rights Association and partly by individuals seeking thrills.

The former is similar in nature to animal rights, believing that even the supernatural should have human rights and that their efforts should be recognized. The supernatural's prohibition of building a resort hotel near the ██ amusement park involves denial of human rights, species discrimination, and so on.

The latter... The ghost stories discovered that among humans who wanted to experience thrills, 70% were ordinary people who weren't even superhumans.

Okay, the humans who can get to ██ Amusement Park are not ordinary people; at the very least, they should be prefixed with either "rich" or "powerful."

These people believe that the hotels provided by the amusement park are too ordinary and far less exciting than hotels with bizarre operations.

If the Blind Box Apartment hadn't been a planned attraction from the very beginning of the ██ Amusement Park's construction, rumors would likely have circulated that it was a rescue measure to avoid further losses in the failed competition within the ghost story accommodation industry.

After several meetings and discussions, the Ghost Stories finally decided that respecting other people's fate and not stepping on the brakes is a matter of high morality.

Of course, some of the ghost stories are about people who survived death and spent the rest of their lives suffering from PTSD. They would choose to stake out near eerie hotels in order to pick up a human they like and take them home.

Red Eyes believes his hotel is the best combination of hotel service and murder. Every guest feels at home, whether they leave alive or stay forever, they all have a smile on their face.

But those sons of bitches at ██ amusement park keep causing trouble, wishing they could shut the hotel down permanently.

This is ridiculous. It's like the world of rules is like any other world, with a so-called world government, or that supernatural beings have law enforcement powers.

"What do you mean by turning an extreme desire to kill into a desire to love? Isn't that just being love-struck? Every single ghost story is about this stupid, love-struck person who is obsessed with the human race."

Recalling both old and new grudges, his good mood was completely ruined. Seeing his subordinates still standing there stammering, his temper flared up instantly: "Aren't you going yet?!"

"But...but it wasn't someone from ██ amusement park who came..."

"Who is that? Who else in this area dares to call me by name?"

"Yes……"

Before his subordinates could explain, a voice that would make Red-Eye run away rang out: "It's been years, and Little Red-Eye's temper has grown quite a bit."

"Grass!"

In a panic, Red Eyes smashed the glass countertop and took the shards, intending to cut his own neck with them—he had a rule in his body that if he died from a specific method of death, he would immediately be resurrected in another territory, a trick he used to avoid trouble.

The sharp edge pierced halfway in, but it was still not enough to destroy the eerie vitality.

When he tried to move further, he found he couldn't move his body.

"With me here, you still want to run away? Do you think you're underestimating me?" Jiu Chonglou was in a great mood after failing to trick Ji Mo several times in a row. He finally got his revenge on someone else.

Red-eyed could only watch helplessly as his hand moved away on its own; the cut wound stopped bleeding and healed in a few breaths.

The terrifying Sanchuan Executor sat on the bar, giving off a look that said, "You'd better not even think about running away."

"Xiao Jiu, who is he?" Ji Mo was somewhat surprised that the person he was looking for was a strange creature.

He initially thought it was some kind of ghost story or a human involved in the ██ amusement park, but seeing that there was no one around, he realized that this eeriness did indeed appear at specific times.

"Let me introduce you. This guy, codenamed Red Eyes, is the most business-savvy weirdo. Other weirdos are either not as good at business as him, or those who are better than him are not good at business at all."

As Jiu Chonglou spoke, he snapped his fingers, and the restraints on Hongyan's body loosened. Just as he was about to continue his previous actions, he inadvertently met Jiu Chonglou's gaze. The emotion in Jiu Chonglou's eyes, devoid of any warmth and purely focused on the prey, sent a chill down Hongyan's spine. He instantly empathized with the humans who were usually hunted by strange creatures and reluctantly put down the glass shards.

Red-eye's experience tells him that if he can't escape immediately, it's best to try and talk to the other party, going along with their attitude.

Ji Mo also seemed to be deep in thought. He could sense that the other party was very strong, but there was still a step between them and the seventh rank.

Another person stuck at the seventh level threshold—no, it should be described as bizarre.
