My clone invades all realms

Chapter 5 can be considered as becoming an apprentice.

On the other side, Roya straightened up, his gaze falling on the wooden handle in his hand.

The sturdy axe handle was now broken in two.

The axe has flown off somewhere.

In that collision, it ultimately couldn't hold on.

Roya's gaze then moved past the broken hilt to the shattered scabbard of the other's sword, revealing a blade that gleamed with an icy, bone-chilling light.

"Okay, I lost."

Roya released his grip expressionlessly, letting the broken axe handle fall to the ground.

Urokodaki Sakonji sighed silently in his heart.

lose?

It wasn't the boy who lost; he was the one who suffered a complete defeat.

My body is old and my physical strength is no longer what it used to be.

If the battle continued any longer, even if he used his real sword, he would not see the slightest possibility of victory.

This is a... monster.

He supported himself on the ground and slowly stood up.

Makomo's figure was as light as a falling leaf as she leaped down from the tree and ran quickly to his side.

"Shall I go then?" Roya's voice broke the silence.

If the other party really doesn't intend to teach, he turns around and leaves.

There are always other places in the world where you can find opportunities to learn breathing techniques.

"You must listen attentively to my teachings while you are here," Urokodaki Sakonji said, finally catching his breath.

"Besides the Breathing of Water, I will also teach you the responsibilities that a Demon Slayer must bear."

Luo Ya curled his lip indifferently.

You can say what you want; whether I listen or not is my business.

Seeing the boy's unyielding attitude, Urokodaki Sakonji's brows furrowed even more under his tengu mask, and he abruptly changed the subject.

"Ahem... Have you eaten?"

Luo Ya touched his already empty stomach and answered very honestly, "Not yet."

He had long since used up all the provisions he had on the road.

A bright and gentle smile instantly bloomed on Makomo's face as she said in a light voice, "We're having roasted rabbit tonight!"

Roya's eyes widened suddenly, staring intently at Makomo.

Bunnies are so cute.

How can you eat rabbits?

His Adam's apple bobbed, and he asked in an extremely serious tone:

"How many are there?"

"It's all you can eat." Makomo's smile widened. "You can eat until you're stuffed."

This new junior apprentice looks like he's going to be very interesting.

"Let's go." Urokodaki Sakonji used a flat tone to mask his physical exhaustion, while subtly rubbing his lower back.

That hard impact just now seems to have strained my back.

Makomo keenly noticed her master's subtle movements, smiled, and stepped forward to support his arm.

"Teacher, let me help you down."

"Cough cough!" Urokodaki Sakonji coughed twice, his back instantly straightening: "No need."

He forced himself to walk towards the small house at the foot of the mountain.

A barely perceptible smile curved at the corners of Luo Ya's lips.

"Stubborn to save face."

Following the mountain path down, at the foot of the mountain is the wooden house where Urokodaki Sakonji lived. Several small houses are connected together, bearing the simple traces of hand-built construction.

"I'll go prepare dinner!" Makomo said cheerfully and ran towards the house first.

Urokodaki Sakonji then said to Roya, "Come with me."

Roya followed him into one of the wooden houses.

Inside the house, a pot of hot water was boiling over a fire, steam rising gently.

Urokodaki Sakonji sat cross-legged.

Luo Ya sat down opposite him without any hesitation, with the pot of hot water bubbling between them.

Judging from the rising steam, this pot of water has obviously been boiling for a long time.

"When will you teach me breathing techniques?" Roya broke the silence first, his eagerness undisguised.

Urokodaki Sakonji stared at the boy's calm yet anxious face.

"I will teach you the breathing techniques, but before that, I must teach you how to become a qualified demon-slaying swordsman."

Just as Luo Ya was about to retort, he remembered the duel they had just had.

You have to accept the consequences of your bet.

He shut his mouth and chose to listen for the time being.

"As a demon-slaying swordsman, I do not bear the name of strength, but the responsibility of slaying evil spirits and protecting the hope of others..." Urokodaki Sakonji's voice became low and solemn.

It went in one ear and out the other.

All he could think about was breathing techniques.

The situation on his own side is not very optimistic, and he doesn't have time to listen to these grand principles.

Until darkness completely enveloped the sky.

"Knock knock".

There was a knock on the door, and Makomo's voice came from outside.

"Teacher, the food is ready."

Urokodaki Sakonji then stopped lecturing, stood up and said, "Let's go, let's eat first."

"Then the breathing technique..." Roya immediately pressed for an answer.

Without turning his head, Urokodaki Sakonji opened the door: "Starting tomorrow."

Luo Ya secretly breathed a sigh of relief and followed them out.

A small wooden table had been set up outside, and several roasted rabbits, golden brown and glistening with oil, emitted a rich aroma that whetted one's appetite.

He plopped down without any hesitation.

The dinner table was silent.

All that could be heard was a chilling "whoosh" sound.

Urokodaki Sakonji and Makomo simultaneously looked up at Roya.

Every movement of Roya was as elegant as if she were attending a banquet, from tearing the meat to chewing, it was all with a pleasing rhythm.

But the food disappeared so quickly it was like a blur!

"Slow down!!" Urokodaki Sakonji finally snapped, grabbing his chopsticks and joining the fray.

Not to be outdone, Makomo launched into a fierce battle on the table, with several plump roasted rabbits rapidly separating from the meat at a visible speed.

When the rabbit on the table was all gone, Makomo smiled and turned around to bring out a new plate from the kitchen.

It really does fill you up.

Only after everyone had eaten and drunk their fill did Luo Ya leisurely take out a handkerchief and wipe his mouth.

"Are you... a nobleman?" Makomo finally couldn't contain her curiosity and asked softly.

Luo Ya's dining etiquette was far more refined than any of the wealthy young men she had ever met.

Urokodaki Sakonji also pricked up his ears, his eyes beneath the mask fixed on Roya.

There are too many mysteries surrounding this young man.

Luo Ya paused for a moment as he wiped the corner of his mouth.

These deeply ingrained rituals are nothing more than a way to please their useless master, Ronosya.

As a slave, he could not lose face for his master.

The next second, Roya grinned, his smile carrying a chilling ferocity.

"I am not a nobleman."

"But rather, they were Avengers who were just passing by."

As soon as the words were spoken, the air seemed to freeze instantly.

Makomo looked puzzled.

These bloody words simply cannot be associated with the powerful, elegant, and even strangely endearing young man before them.

Urokodaki Sakonji frowned.

The letter from Tomioka Giyuu describes him as the son of a farming family whose parents were killed by evil spirits!

Moreover, they possess the physical instinct to fight demons.

He thought of the terrifying power the boy possessed that was beyond his years.

That wasn't fighting a demon; it was a power that could crush a demon to the ground!

This boy is shrouded in mystery.
