Tersey stood there, stunned.
The two gunshots still seemed to echo in his ears as he listened to the man in front of him describe Yellowstone, a beautiful place that was like paradise.
Scammer! Absolutely a scammer!
This was Tercy's first thought, but the demeanor and attire of the people in front of him didn't seem like someone who was all alone.
Tyrsey didn't know why, perhaps it was out of his own longing for such a place, but he gradually believed the man's words and agreed to go to Yellowstone.
"Wake up, Tyrsey."
Sasha's suppressed anger rang in her ears. Tersey turned to look at Sasha, who was saying in a serious, low voice, "This is definitely fake. We can't go."
"Hey ma'am, could you speak a little louder? We can all hear you."
Caesar stood to the side, seemingly unconcerned by their hushed conversation, and spoke magnanimously.
Sasha blushed and paled as she glanced at Caesar, realizing that Caesar wasn't as irritable as she had imagined. After all, it was their first meeting, and she had already seen Caesar smash two people's heads; he certainly didn't seem like a good person.
Caesar ignored their expressions and simply said, "Since you don't believe me, why don't you go and see for yourself?"
"When you see Yellowstone with your own eyes, you will know that paradise is not a fantasy."
Tersey said solemnly, "Sasha, my gut feeling tells me he's not lying."
"Let's go take a look."
Sasha pondered for a moment, looked at her brother's serious expression, and said helplessly, "————Alright then."
"In that case, you'll need to help move some things later."
Caesar made his demands without any hesitation.
"What are you moving?" Tersey pressed.
Caesar raised his chin and said to the remaining three members of the prison group of five, "You know what we need to move, right?"
Alex's two small tufts of mustache trembled as he nodded. "I understand what you mean, sir. We are willing to offer that food to you."
Caesar nodded in satisfaction. "Very good, I accept."
"Well, it's getting late, let's hurry up and move it."
Urged on by Caesar, Alex led the two big oafs into the dining hall, with Sasha and Tersey following behind.
As soon as Tersey entered, his eyes widened suddenly as he looked at the stacks of grain sacks in the storeroom and the piles of canned goods on the shelves, his expression becoming somewhat out of control.
Sasha's expression was equally shocked.
They had been wandering for a long time and hadn't seen so much food in a long time.
Terci pulled Alex aside. "Have you been eating this stuff all this time?"
Alex frowned, looking at Tersey with a puzzled expression. "If we don't eat these things, what else can we eat?"
He took two steps forward, picked up a can of food from a nearby box, and rummaged through it with a look of disgust. "Eating these cans of food, I feel like I'm getting pickled up. I'm so tired of them."
Oscar and the big guy both looked terrible. After eating the same thing for almost a year, they had lost all desire to enjoy these canned foods. Every day, they could only pinch their noses, close their eyes, and force themselves to eat them.
When eating is solely for survival, then there is no enjoyment or pleasure in eating.
The storage room fell silent. Sasha took a step forward, glanced at the door, and, seeing no one watching, whispered, "Are you really willing to go to Yellowstone?"
Sasha ultimately felt that this place was unreliable, as it was described as too perfect and too beautiful.
Alex crossed his arms and stared intently at Sasha, his eyes gleaming with wisdom.
Sasha felt a little uneasy under his gaze and asked in a low voice, "What are you doing?"
"Heh~" Alex chuckled twice, patting Oscar and the big guy behind him. "This stupid woman actually thinks we have other options!"
Then, Alex approached Sasha, his smile fading, and said seriously, "Do you want your head to explode too?"
"We have no other choice but to survive first, and then we can think about everything else."
After saying that, Alex picked up a box of canned food, followed by Oscar and the big guy, who also picked up food and walked out together.
As Alex passed Sasha, he bumped into her and said coldly, "Get out of my way, little girl."
The three of them went outside, and Alex's fawning voice could still be clearly heard from inside the storage room.
The Sasha was somewhat stunned. Tersey patted her on the shoulder: "Don't think about it too much, we should get to work."
Tyrsey knew that Sasha liked to nitpick, and now was not the time for them to think about such things. The most important thing right now was to survive under Caesar's group.
After a few words of persuasion, Tersey picked up her things and walked out, leaving Sasha standing there stunned for a long time.
To make it easier to transport food, Caesar ordered his team to drive all the vehicles to the back of the prison.
Something has happened here; the outer barbed wire and walls have collapsed, allowing direct access into the prison from the outside.
Caesar and his men entered the prison from here, and their vehicles are parked here as well.
Caesar and Rick stood by, watching Tyrsey and the others work.
A few warriors stayed by Caesar's side, while the rest went into the prison to begin clearing out the remaining zombies.
With sufficient protection, powerful weapons, and suitable terrain, this group of exceptionally strong warriors would be able to wipe out all the zombies in the prison.
Given their fighting prowess, Caesar was not worried that they would make mistakes such as being greedy for credit or acting rashly.
"We're attacking this prison just for this little bit of food?" Rick asked in surprise.
Yellowstone is a very large city, and this amount of food was already considered a lot by Tyrsey and the others.
But for a gathering place with more than a thousand people, it is far from enough, not even enough for Yellowstone's daily consumption.
Making this trip for these grains is a completely unprofitable business.
Caesar shook his head. "Of course not, I'm after this prison."
"Prisons are easy to defend and difficult to attack, making them an excellent location for establishing power in the apocalypse, and subsequent expansions are very convenient."
"Including some of the facilities inside the prison, it could be said to be a more suitable place as a camp than Black Pine Valley."
After hearing Caesar's explanation, Rick was even more confused.
"So, you want to take over the prison and move it here?"
Rick thought it was impossible when he said it. Black Pine Valley was a vast area with excellent natural conditions, and after operating there for so long, he didn't think Caesar would be willing to give it up.
To everyone's surprise, Caesar nodded. "That's right. I want to take over the prison, but not move it here. Instead, I want to use it as an outpost to both mislead the enemy and potentially launch a war."
"For example, this time, ever since we caused such a ruckus at Woodbury, the governor has been frantically searching for any trace of us."
