Shang Jiang has always been impulsive; once he's put his mind to something, he's bound to do it.

Wang Yunyun had long since figured out Shang Jiang's temperament, and hearing him say this, she felt extremely annoyed.

I clearly told my aunt not to bring this up casually, so how come I let her be alone with Shang Jiang and let her say so much without me even noticing...

Wang Yunyun gritted her teeth in anger, but still had to force a smile and follow Shang Jiang after him.

"Brother Shang, wait for me, I haven't finished speaking yet."

But how could she outrun Shang Jiang? She didn't chase him for long before she couldn't even see him anymore.

Wang Yunyun stopped, panting, and cursed inwardly. Then she thought that Tan Ruixue's destination had been changed, and even if Shang Jiang went to investigate, he might not be able to find out. Moreover, even if Tan Ruixue came back, she couldn't compete with her. She breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Shang Jiang is a soft-hearted man; go back and say a few nice words to coax him.

Shang Jiang, holding his breath, rushed back to the compound, hesitated for a moment halfway, and then turned around to find Shang Hua.

"Sis, do me a favor," he said eagerly as soon as he entered the door.

Shang Hua, still feeling weak from being pestered by Peng Wanzhou for most of the day, leaned against the headboard and lazily asked, "What have you been up to now?"

Shang Jiang frowned, disapproving of Shang Hua's behavior: "Sister, sit up straight! Look at your posture! Have you forgotten what Dad taught us? Sit like a bell and stand like a pine tree!"

Shang Hua: "..."

"It's none of your business how I sit!" Shang Hua snorted. "If you have something to say, say it; if not, get lost!"

Seeing his older sister's sullen expression again, Shang Jiang didn't dare to scold her anymore and quickly said, "Help me find someone. She went to the countryside, but I don't know where she went."

"Who is it?" Shang Hua raised her eyelids slightly. "Someone you met outside? Male or female?"

"A woman! I'll marry her once I find her!" Shang Jiang said resolutely.

Shang Hua was so shocked by his words that he almost choked on his own saliva, and it took him a good cough to recover.

"Where is she from? How old is she? What does she do? When did you meet her? Why are you going to marry her?" Shang Hua bombarded him with a series of questions.

Shang scratched his head, explained Tan Ruixue's situation, and then said with distress, "She's angry with me now and has gone to the countryside without saying a word. I have to find her and bring her back."

"I'm angry with you?" Shang Hua sneered. "You've got quite a temper. I don't think you're a good match. Let's just forget about it."

"Sister!" Shang Jiang exclaimed in shock, "How could you do this? What's wrong with us? She has a very good temper. I must have done something wrong to upset her."

Shang Hua looked at his silly younger brother with curiosity. He was over thirty years old and had finally fallen in love?

"What did you do to make everyone so angry that they all went to the countryside?"

He was still vague and unwilling to speak.

Shang Hua's face darkened, and he said coldly, "If you don't want to talk, then forget it. Go find someone yourself!"

There was no other way, so Shang Jiang could only give a brief explanation.

At first, Shang Hua listened casually, but later he sat up straight, and finally he slapped Shang Jiang on the back of the head without any hesitation.

Shang let out a miserable cry: "Sister! You hit my head again! And you always say I'm stupid. It's all because of you and Mom that I've become stupid."

Shang Hua was so angry she wanted to grab a slipper and hit him.

Unbeknownst to them, Shang Jiang was actually tricked into becoming a fool by a woman, and ended up doing such a thing to another girl.

"How are you any different from that bastard Ge Jiangtao?" she cursed.

Shang Jiang shrank back: "Why are you comparing me to Ge Jiangtao like Zhuang Qingxiang? We're completely different, okay?"

"No difference!" Shang Hua cursed angrily. "How could I have such a stupid brother like you? I don't even need to hear the whole story to know that girl will be heartbroken by you! I think you shouldn't even bother looking for her anymore. That girl has a strong will; once she decides to leave, she won't turn back. There's no use in looking for her! Besides, you haven't dated anyone at all. Why should she marry you?"

Shang Jiang scratched his head: "She's a city girl, a high school graduate, and has a respectable job. She's never farmed before, and she definitely wouldn't be able to handle the hardships of going to the countryside. I have to bring her back."

"You can ask that guy surnamed Wang to give her back her job, or introduce her to another job. If she has a job, she can come back. She doesn't necessarily have to marry you!" Shang Hua scoffed.

Shang Jiang hadn't expected this at all. After a moment of surprise, he cautiously asked, "Sister, are you planning to help me find a job?"

"No!" Shang Hua couldn't stand Shang Jiang anymore. She rubbed her temples. "If you want a job, ask your parents for help. But let me remind you, even if you find her a job, she might not want it! Get lost, I need to rest for a while."

"It's almost dinner time, why are you still resting? Mom and Dad are waiting for you and Peng Wanzhou to come back for dinner." Shang Jiang muttered, then pleaded, "Sister, please help me find her address in the countryside. No matter what, I have to try."

"I'm not going back to eat. Your brother-in-law is taking me out to eat," Shang Hua said impatiently. "You'd better get home right now. I'll try to find that girl for you."

"Okay, thank you, sister." Shang Jiang smiled and left happily.

Not long after he left, Peng Wanzhou returned, his face beaming with joy.

Shang Hua glanced at him: "Is there any progress on the housing allocation?"

"Yes." Peng Wanzhou leaned closer and sat down next to her. "Weren't Ge Jiangtao's family evicted? That house became vacant, and they said they'd give it to me directly. I felt uncomfortable with it, so I swapped places with them. After they move out, I can tidy up the little courtyard they lived in and move in there."

"It's hot, get out of here." Shang Hua shoved the man who had come closer with disdain, frowning as she said, "How much longer is it going to take?"

The single bed is too small; she doesn't want to live in this dorm anymore.

Peng Wanzhou seemed to have springs attached to him; he was pushed away and bounced back, sticking back to her, and said with a smile, "I've already arranged with someone to finish moving in three days."

Moving in three days, then tidying up, and at least painting it white, right? By any measure, it'll take a week to move.

Shang Hua said lazily, "Alright then, I'll move back to my parents' house first."

Peng Wanzhou was stunned: "What? You're moving back to your parents' house? We just got married, and you're going to separate from me?"

Shang Hua glanced at him: "You can move back with me, or you can stay. Even if we're separated, it'll only be for a few days."

Peng Wanzhou was conflicted. He didn't want to move to Chief Shang's house because it would be inconvenient for everything, but he also didn't want to be separated from him.

We just got married and were just starting to enjoy our new life together, and now we're separated. It's too cruel.

"Sister...why do we have to separate? We're doing just fine," Peng Wanzhou said in a sticky, affectionate tone.

Shang Hua warily pushed his face away: "The bed is too small, I can't sleep well!"

"It's not small at all; it's just the right size to hold while sleeping," Peng Wanzhou said immediately. "Let's try it again if you don't believe me."

Shang Hua quickly jumped out of bed.

Why even try? He's so big, he can take up a whole bed by himself. How can she sleep with him on top of that? Sleeping together like an octopus would be unbearable.

"I've made up my mind!" she said sternly.

Peng Wanzhou said helplessly, "Then I'll move back with you..."

He would rather look but not eat than not see at all; he would never allow a separation, not even for a few days.
