The person is at Hogwarts, but the system is in Middle-earth!

Chapter 108 Intimidation, the Zhang Family!

Chapter 109 Intimidation, Time to Go Home!

The partition wall at King's Cross station acted as a dividing line, separating two worlds. Lowe pushed his trolley out of the ticket gate.

[System Warning: Entering a low-magic zone.]

[Environmental Scan: The Edge of Middle-earth.]

[Enemy unit reaction detected.]

Without needing any system notification, Luo Wei saw it.

In the crowd not far away, a man with a purple face, almost no neck, and a beard was pacing restlessly. Beside him stood a thin, horse-faced woman with an astonishingly long neck, and a boy who looked like a fat pig wearing a wig, chewing on his fingers.

Vernon Dursley.

Harry had clearly seen them too. The relaxed and cheerful expression vanished from his face in an instant, replaced by his habitual tension and timidity.

"Hurry up, kid!" Uncle Vernon roared as soon as he saw Harry, drawing stares from passersby. "Do you think I have all day to wait for you? Quiet that damn bird!"

Hedwig flapped her wings anxiously in the cage and let out a cry, as if sensing her owner's fear.

"It's just tired, Uncle Vernon," Harry whispered, trying to hide the cage behind his back.

"I don't care if it's tired!" Vernon's purplish-red face loomed closer to Harry, spitting as he spoke. "If you make another sound, I'll put it in the pot and stew it! Now, throw your stuff in the trunk, and we..."

'

A hand suddenly darted in, blocking Vernon and Harry, firmly cutting off Vernon's aggressive momentum.

Vernon paused, following the hand's gaze, and met a pair of deep, dark eyes, as cold as an icy pool. Lowe stood there, his posture upright, exuding an incongruous, chilling aura in the somewhat crowded and noisy station.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Overseer." Rowe's voice was clear and cold. "While I don't expect orcs to know anything about manners, yelling in public is really...unseemly. It will frighten the 'Hobbits' around."

"Who are you?" Vernon took a wary step back, his small eyes scanning Rowe with suspicion and disgust. "Harry's... weird friends? I'm warning you, stay away from me!"

"Love! No..." Harry panicked and tried to stop him. He knew all too well how much his Uncle Vernon hated wizards, and the consequences of a conflict would be unimaginable.

Rowe simply raised his left hand slightly, signaling Harry to be quiet. His right hand rested casually on his waist, where a long-handled black umbrella hung.

"Who I am is not important." Lowe slowly stepped forward, approaching Vernon. He was half a head taller than Vernon, and the oppressive feeling from his superior height made the fat man instinctively shrink his neck.

“The important thing is that Harry is now my comrade-in-arms.” Rowe lowered his voice, speaking in a tone only the two of them could hear, “He just went through a war at the school that you can’t even imagine, shedding blood to protect the world and slaying dragons. He is a Ringbearer worthy of respect.”

Vernon's face turned a deep purplish-red, veins bulging on his forehead: "I don't care what he did in that asylum! Now that he's back, he has to follow my rules! If he dares to use those tricks in my house..."

"Clang."

Lowe pushed open the umbrella's clasp with his thumb, revealing a silver metal rod inside. But in Vernon's eyes, he seemed to see a chilling glint of light leaking out, piercing straight to his throat.

[Skill Activation: Intimidation LV.2]

[Judgment in progress... Opponent's willpower is extremely low (orc overseer template).]

[Detection successful! "Extreme Fear" effect has been inflicted.]

"Listen, overseer. If I find out he's been treated unfairly this summer... if I find out you've cut his rations or locked him in a cramped dungeon...—"

Rowe leaned forward slightly, his dark eyes seemingly burning with fire, and whispered in Vernon's ear, "The swords of the Northern Rangers have no eyes. The laws of Gondor may not apply here, but the justice of the Rangers is never absent."

Vernon Dursley shuddered. He swore that for a moment, he truly felt the breath of death.

His face turned deathly pale instantly, his lips trembled, and his previously arrogant demeanor deflated like a punctured balloon.

"I...we've always been good to him..." Vernon stammered, cold sweat trickling down his temples, "As long as he...as long as he doesn't cause trouble. We...we feed him, we give him shelter..."

"Very good." Rowe withdrew his aura and reverted to being a polite student. He smiled and helped Harry lift the heavy trunk as easily as if he were carrying a sack of cotton.

"This is just a friendly suggestion." Rowe turned around, patted Harry on the shoulder, and his eyes softened. "Be patient, Frodo. This is the moors on the edge of the Shire; patience is a form of training. If the orcs dare to rebel, have Hedwig send me a message. The beacon fires of Gondor could be lit at any moment, and Rohan's cavalry will be there at a moment's notice."

Harry stared in disbelief at the scene. He had never seen Uncle Vernon so frightened. Even Dudley, who had been trying to kick Harry's shin, was now hiding behind Aunt Petunia, looking at Rowe in terror, dropping his chocolate bar in fright.

"Thank you... Rowe," Harry whispered, a warm feeling he had never experienced before welling up inside him. It wasn't just because Rowe had gotten him out of that predicament, but also because of the feeling of being protected and valued.

"Go on." Rowe waved, as if bidding farewell to a comrade about to embark on a long journey. "See you after summer vacation. Don't forget to practice your swordsmanship... I mean, don't forget to do your homework."

Watching the Dursleys scramble into their car as if fleeing for their lives, and speed away, leaving a trail of black smoke behind, Rowe nodded in satisfaction.

[System Settlement: Final Warning]

[Mission Evaluation: A bloodless victory. Successfully instilled psychological fear in enemy units, establishing a long-term deterrent mechanism.]

[Reward: Skill - Intimidation upgraded to LV.3.]

[Gained Trait: The Bond of the Fellowship. Harry's trust in you has reached the level of "sworn brotherhood."]

He turned around and pushed his luggage cart toward the exit. Sunlight streamed onto the streets of London; though not as bright as Hogwarts, it had its own unique, down-to-earth charm.

"Alright, System," Luo Wei silently said to himself, "This season's adventure is over."

Luo Wei stretched and a relaxed smile appeared on his lips.

Now, only one last thing remains.

Time to go home!
