What Delta? Isn't it Operation Assara?

Chapter 268 Seizing the Ship and Breaking Through the Harbor

"We're not deaf, Luke," Roy Smee's somewhat helpless voice came through the communication channel.

"Command, a large number of armed personnel have boarded the ship. Requesting identification!" Luke ignored the bee doctor's rambling and hurriedly reported to command.

Originally, after confirming that the ship was equipped with Dark Star fuel units, he should have evacuated. However, he wanted to confirm the sound—

However, before he could search, a burst of gunfire erupted from above.

"Be careful! A large number of unidentified armed men have boarded and are attacking the cargo ship. Mission objective updated; we have confirmed the cargo ship's contents. Everyone, evacuate immediately." Zoya's worried voice came through the headset to the three echoing figures.

"No, judging from the sound, it's a GTI-class military helicopter. Command, confirm!"

"impossible!"

"I think it's good!"

"Wait, let me check. Logically, it shouldn't be like this—"

No, there really is one of our helicopters in that area!

"The callers are—Red Owl and Bit!" Zoya's mind went blank.

"Fire Rain, we have successfully suppressed the enemy and taken control of the cargo ship's surface. Prepare to move in." In the communication channel, Bit began to notify Fire Rain, who had been lying in ambush.

The only people who boarded the ship were Zhao Yu, Bit, Yanlong, Nuhuo, and Zhao Yu's chief guard, who were responsible for controlling the cargo ship. Huoyu, along with the other Said personal guards, disguised themselves as pirates and launched a surprise attack using a large number of speedboats.

After being depleted by Echoes and his two companions, and further weakened by the attacks from Zhao Yu, Bit, and the leader's guard, the cargo ship's firepower and manpower on its surface had been completely wiped out. The cargo ship was simply no match for such a large-scale attack.

"Sayed, the tributary for turning around is not far ahead. According to the plan, I must now take control of the bridge. You go and take care of Hudson's henchmen on the ship!"

"Be careful, there might be other unknown forces on board," Bit said to Zhao Yu beside him.

"be safe!

"Flame Dragon, Fury, follow me!" Zhao Yu said to the two adjutants beside him.

"Understood, boss!"

"Don't worry, sir!"

"There might be something on this ship, so try not to use rockets!" Bitt warned again.

"understood."

"You guys follow Lahar. He's a scholar. Don't die here," Yanlong also warned.

Zhao Yu took the lead, preparing to guide his men to clear the Hudson Guard soldiers from the cargo ship layer by layer.

His men were still equipped with the Level 6 helmets and armor that GTI had handed over last time. Although there were many Hudson SS soldiers on the cargo ship, their equipment was about the same as that of the top-secret Hudson SS soldiers in the space program.

Facing Zhao Yu's side, who were battle-hardened and had an absolute advantage in equipment, they were utterly powerless to fight back.

"Hello, can you hear me?"

Bit, Red Owl, what's going on here?

Bit, weren't you out on a field assignment?

"Why are you and Red Owl on that ship!" Soon, the communication between the two parties was connected, and Zoya's voice, tinged with doubt, reached Zhao Yu and Bit's ears.

The three members of Echo went on a mission and contacted Bit to seize a cargo ship with a large number of helicopters. Although both were related to GTI, the two sides did not share intelligence. Zoya only confirmed that it was Bit after investigation.

"Zoya?"

I received intelligence that the Hudson Group is plundering large amounts of gold from Asara through the Hafk Group's channels, and a cargo ship fully loaded with gold is about to pass through the port of Ums.

After confirming it, Said and I devised this plan to seize the cargo ship. Bit was also greatly puzzled when he heard Zoya's voice coming from the suddenly connected communication channel.

"Is there gold on board?"

Damn! Echo, Bee Doctor, and Shepherd are on board! We've confirmed that the ship is carrying a large number of Dark Star fuel units!

Bit, you've been too reckless. Hafk's forces in Ums will not stand idly by and watch you take the cargo ship. Hafk's reinforcements are on their way!

"How will you evacuate then?" Zoya's voice was very anxious.

The cargo ship's speed is definitely not faster than Hafk's navy!

"The garrison at Hafk won't be able to get here!"

"GTI's top brass has passed a resolution to seize Umsport, and the front-line troops are already on their way to Umsport!" Bit's words silenced Zoya, as well as Echo, Bee Doctor, and Shepherd, who had been added to the same communication channel by Zoya.

Logically, the operation to seize Ums should not begin for some time.

However, Bit himself lobbied several GTI executives, who also felt that the Red Owl's attack on the cargo ship was a very good opportunity to seize Ums.

It is now clear that Hafk is plundering Assara's resources through the sea route of Ums port, and he has a legitimate reason to take action!

"The bridge is under control, Said. How's it going on your end?" Bit quickly accessed the cargo ship's control system and began to take control of the ship. For someone with his exceptional technical skills, these things were no problem at all.

"Almost there!" Zhao Yu raised his gun and shot down several Hudson's personal guards. This time, he chose a fully modified M14 marksman rifle, using 7.62×51mm bullets to accurately take the lives of his enemies.

"Now, Hudson's lackeys on the ship are no longer a threat!" Zhao Yu continued.

That's true. Among the Hudson's personal guards on the ship, the few powerful operators like Nameless, Red Wolf, and Dragon were capable of single-handedly slaughtering the entire ship. Not to mention the four GTI elite operators, plus Zhao Yu and his two lieutenants, as well as Zhao Yu's leader's guard.

"Boss, we've arrived. The brothers are boarding the ship now!"

"But boss, I think I saw Reese, Hamk, and Raven. Did you invite them to join us?" Fire Rain boarded the cargo ship via a zipline.

Then, holding the SR-25 marksman rifle that Zhao Yu had given him, he covered the other Said guards as they boarded the ship, while looking into the distance.

Through the sniper scope, one speedboat after another could be clearly seen approaching. At the very front, Reis's figure, draped in a coat, was clearly reflected in Huo Yu's eyes through the scope.

"No!" Zhao Yu's expression changed upon hearing this, and he then sped up the process of clearing out Hudson's personal guards.

However, no one could see Zhao Yu's expression through the mask.

"Don't worry, boss!" Huo Yu shot and destroyed a rocket fired by Reis's gang, watching it explode into a ball of sparks in the air.
