Laozi wanted to be the leader of the Human Religion, and Yuanshi and Tongtian should also establish their religions based on the human race and educate all living beings in the primordial world.

This involves the interests of many important figures. For the sake of the Three Pure Ones, Li Yunjing was able to participate and obtain the title of Master of the Human Race, which is already a huge opportunity.

Too much of a good thing is bad; if Li Yunjing were to hope for anything more, he would lose even more.

The benefits Li Yunjing received from the human race were already enough to satisfy him. As the human race grew stronger, his own fortune would also increase along with the fortune of the protagonist of heaven and earth.

"My Way is supreme non-action. Where the Way is, there I am. I do not judge the few by the many, nor the many by the few; I do not bully the weak with the strong, nor do I seek strength from the weak."

Lao Tzu's figure manifested in the void, with endless radiance emanating from his body. He first elucidated his own Great Dao, and finally explained the Great Dao of Taiqing to all living beings.

All the humans knew this was an incredible opportunity, and they all sat on the ground, quietly listening to Lao Tzu preach. Even Li Yunjing listened to the quasi-sage's teachings along with the others.

The principles of caring for the human race are not profound. They start from the Celestial Immortals and continue to the Taiyi Golden Immortals, but do not involve the cultivation paths of the higher-level Daluo Golden Immortals and Quasi-Saints.

Even so, Li Yunjing kept these principles in mind, constantly verifying them in his own cultivation, and continuously correcting and perfecting his cultivation.

For other experts, some might disdain listening to such low-level principles, but for Li Yunjing, every word of Lao Tzu is a profound truth, a lifetime of cultivation experience from someone about to attain enlightenment.

As Laozi's aura stirred, the Heavenly Dao responded, and the merits of Pangu's creation of the world and the establishment of the religion descended simultaneously. The massive amount of merit far exceeded the merits of Nuwa's creation of humans. Laozi received these merits and immediately became the Primordial Saint.

After a flash of light, Lao Tzu finally attained enlightenment. Golden lotuses sprang from the earth, and flowers rained down from the sky. The aura of a sage spread throughout the entire prehistoric world, and spiritual energy fell like rain upon the prehistoric world.

Just as when Nuwa became a saint, the heavens bestowed boundless spiritual energy and merits to benefit all living beings, and the whole world rejoiced.

"Establish the People's Education System!!!"

As soon as this sound was uttered, it was heard throughout the primordial world. In the darkness, all living beings seemed to know that a sage had appeared, and they all knelt down and worshipped the sage from afar.

Li Yunjing assisted Laozi in educating the human race and became their teacher. Heaven was moved by this and a thick golden light of merit flowed into his body from between his eyebrows.

The power of merit was about to instantly boost Li Yunjing's cultivation level, pushing him to the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm. However, with a thought, Li Yunjing suppressed the merit within his body and did not use it to enhance his cultivation.

In his view, merit was too precious, while advancing to the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm was very easy; he could simply go back and cultivate in seclusion for a few hundred years. Using merit here was a pure waste.

In the future, merits will be hard to come by. There are three paths to sainthood: one is to prove the Dao through force; the second is to sever the three corpses to attain the Dao; and the third is to attain the Dao through merits. Each path is extremely difficult, and since they are all precious things related to proving the Dao, Li Yunjing is unwilling to waste a single bit of them.

With Laozi establishing his religion and becoming a saint, a second saint appeared in the second generation of the Xuanmen sect, causing a tremor in the primordial world.

Originally, the three thousand Purple Cloud Guests, those who had not obtained the "Primordial Purple Qi" and possessed great supernatural powers, harbored a bit of wishful thinking, believing that obtaining the "Primordial Purple Qi" did not necessarily guarantee sainthood, and that if they cultivated diligently, they would eventually have a chance.

But reality dealt them a heavy blow. First, Nuwa created humans and became a saint, and then Laozi established a religion and became a saint. Both of them were appointed to sainthood by Hongjun Daozu!

Yuanshi and Tongtian are both incredibly powerful, and with a sage brother, they are not to be trifled with. Zhunti and Jieyin are inseparable, always bound together. Both are late-stage quasi-sages and also hold the title of disciples of Hongjun Daozu, so no one dares to provoke them either.
