Yuanshi continued, "Although my immortal apricot cannot compare to the effects of your yellow plum, which can directly make one a Great Luo Golden Immortal, it still has its own miraculous effects. Each of these three fruits contains the power of wind and thunder. Eating one will allow you to grow wings on your back and control thunder. Eating the second will give you three heads and six arms, greatly increasing your supernatural power. Eating the third will open a third eye between your eyebrows, which can emit the light of thunder, like divine punishment."

This golden pagoda was clearly the Heaven and Earth Profound Yellow Exquisite Pagoda, a treasure of acquired merit, which Xuanhuang found extremely enviable.

Above the auspicious clouds of the Jade Purity Daoist Yuanshi, there were hanging necklaces and floating golden lamps, with a Three Treasures Jade Ruyi floating on top.

With these three precious jade scepters here, it is clear that the twenty-four-petaled Creation Lotus has already been divided and become the three people's treasures for proving their Dao.

Sure enough, when the Taoist Master Tongtian of Shangqing appeared on the auspicious cloud, five white waves rolled and surged above it, supporting a three-foot-long sword that released boundless sword energy, radiating light and appearing extremely fierce.

This precious sword is naturally the Qingping Sword, a treasure for attaining enlightenment that reaches the heavens.

Xuanhuang chuckled and revealed his own auspicious cloud, which was a yellow plum tree with strands of chaotic energy hanging down, its aura no less than that of any of the Three Pure Ones.

Immediately, five-colored light shone forth, illuminating all directions.

Xuanhuang continued to speak of his own Five Elements Dao, and after his journey to the West, his understanding of the Great Dao was clearly more profound.

It progresses from simple to complex, penetrating to the core, extremely detailed and captivating, so much so that even the Three Pure Ones were nodding and swaying, completely engrossed.

After a long while, Xuanhuang stopped lecturing, and Laozi, the Taoist of Taiqing, clapped his hands and said, "Excellent, excellent! Fellow Taoist, you entered the Tao through the Five Elements, yet you have been able to encompass Yin and Yang within it. The Tao of the Five Elements and the Tao of Yin and Yang are interconnected and can be transformed into each other. You have truly attained a profound Tao!"

"Now, fellow Daoist, please listen to my Dao. My Dao is exactly the opposite of yours; it begins with the Dao of Yin and Yang and culminates in my Dao of Non-Action!"

So Lao Tzu began to preach the Tao. As he preached, Xuanhuang felt a profound stillness, and he himself felt incredibly relaxed, at ease, and immersed in the sounds of the Tao.

In Lao Tzu's philosophy of Yin and Yang, all things are transformed from the two energies of Yin and Yang, and often carry Yin while embracing Yang.

The interplay of Yin and Yang constitutes the Dao!

Finally, Lao Tzu's own Dao gradually emerged, which is called Wuwei (non-action). It is the way of Heaven, which is in harmony with nature. It is mysterious and wonderful.

Even the gods and immortals were full of praise.

In his view, Taiqing's way of non-action far surpassed the way of others he had encountered before.

Zhen Yuanzi and Hongyun are not as good as him, nor are Jieyin and Zhunti.

Taiqing Laozi truly deserves to be called the foremost sage. As the eldest sage, the head of the Three Pure Ones, and the true successor of Pangu, he is indeed worthy of the title.

After Lao Tzu finished explaining his philosophy of non-action, Xuanhuang was still not satisfied, but Yuanshi continued to speak.

The Dao of the Primordial Beginning is named after itself. The Dao of the Primordial Beginning takes itself as the orthodox doctrine, and has a sense of vastness and majesty. It is also a very profound Dao.

As for Tongtian, he combines swordsmanship and formations. His swordsmanship can transform into all laws and merge all paths. Furthermore, he can use formations to coordinate swordsmanship, making swordsmanship condensed and its power terrifyingly strong.

The profound impact of the discourse on Taoism was indescribable.

At this moment, Tongtian invited Xuanhuang to a duel. Xuanhuang thought for a moment and agreed, saying, "I have condensed the Five-Colored Divine Light with the Five Elements Dao. Although it is not yet fully mastered, it is still extraordinary and can sweep away all things. Fellow Daoist, you need to be careful."

Upon hearing this, Tongtian waved his hand dismissively and said, "Fellow Daoist, please feel free to make your move."

Xuanhuang smiled and left the Sanqing Hall with Tongtian, coming outside.

With a thought, Xuanhuang conjured five divine lights behind him, soaring into the sky.

The five divine lights stood side by side, each one enormous, seemingly containing immense magical power, and were exceptionally heavy.

Upon its first appearance, it caused the heavens and earth to change color, and the sun and moon became indistinguishable, with five-colored light illuminating all things.

Seeing this, Tongtian's expression also turned serious.

Laozi and Yuanshi exchanged a glance, their eyes revealing surprise.

"Indeed, he has not yet achieved great success." After observing for a while, Yuanshi said to Laozi.

Lao Tzu nodded, then shook his head, saying, "Although it is not yet fully developed, its power is terrifying. I'm afraid few things of the Five Elements can escape its light!"

Before he could finish speaking, Tongtian had already made his move, summoning the Qingping Sword, which instantly transformed into countless sword lights, slashing towards Xuanhuang.

Xuanhuang smiled lightly, and the five-colored divine light behind him swept forward.

The five-colored light reached its peak at this moment.

The world was filled with five-colored light, making it impossible to see anything else.

A moment later, the five-colored light quickly receded and reappeared behind Xuanhuang, still soaring into the sky.

Everything was as if it had never happened.

But looking at Tongtian again, he saw that Tongtian's hands were empty and his face was full of embarrassment.

His Qingping Sword had clearly been absorbed into the Five-Colored Divine Light.

However, Xuanhuang naturally wouldn't covet the Tongtian Qingping Sword. Among the five divine lights, the white one flickered slightly, and the Tongtian Qingping Sword flew out from it.

Tongtian reached out and beckoned, and it returned to his hand.

Tongtian laughed and said, "Fellow Daoist's supernatural powers are indeed impressive. I am truly impressed. However, I have one more request."
