Chapter 102 The fifth wife
In the Purple Cloud Palace, Xuanhuang attained enlightenment and became a Primordial Golden Immortal. This should have been an earth-shattering event, but it went unnoticed in the primordial world.
Firstly, one internally realizes one's own Dao and naturally achieves the primordial Dao fruit, thus the response from the Heavenly Dao is not strong.
Secondly, it is because it is located in the Zixiao Palace, which is not within the scope of the primordial world.
Therefore, apart from Nuwa, who had already attained sainthood in the Thirty-Three Heavens, having a slight sense of it, none of the other powerful beings knew about it.
However, when Xuanhuang appeared in front of Wuzhuang Temple, Zhen Yuanzi, as the local lord, was still able to sense it.
After all, Xuanhuang hadn't made any deliberate attempt to hide it. Zhen Yuanzi, who was meditating in the temple and comprehending the Great Dao, suddenly had an idea and instructed the two boys, Qingfeng and Mingyue, whom he had recently enlightened, "Go outside and welcome your master uncle in."
When the two boys arrived at the temple, they indeed saw a young Taoist priest with a bamboo staff and a calm expression. They quickly bowed and said, "Are you Uncle Xuanhuang? Please come in, Master."
Upon hearing this, Xuanhuang glanced at the two boys and smiled slightly, saying, "Alright, you two lead the way."
The two boys then led the way into the temple.
Upon arriving at the temple, Xuanhuang saw Zhen Yuanzi waiting for him. Zhen Yuanzi's cultivation level was now at the mid-stage of Quasi-Saint.
Clearly, Zhen Yuanzi had severed another corpse, and even had a profound understanding of his own obsession.
His spiritual attainments are extraordinary.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have realized that being heartless is not heartless, but rather one with being sentient, and thus had Kong Xuan convey this to him.
However, Xuanhuang could clearly see Zhenyuanzi's cultivation level, but Zhenyuanzi was suddenly startled when he looked at Xuanhuang.
In the past, although Xuanhuang's cultivation was high and unfathomable, he still had some sense of it.
But now, when Zhen Yuanzi looks at Xuanhuang, he only feels that it is a void, as if it were empty space.
This feeling...
"Could it be that you are a fellow Daoist?" Zhen Yuanzi asked tentatively.
Xuanhuang nodded slightly.
Zhen Yuanzi took a deep breath, then his face lit up with joy, and he said, "Congratulations, fellow Daoist, after countless years of cultivation, you have finally attained enlightenment."
Xuanhuang also laughed and said, "If it weren't for you, fellow Daoist, it would have been much later before I could attain Dao."
"Oh?" Zhen Yuanzi asked, slightly puzzled, "What's the reason for this?"
Xuanhuang said, "It was what you said, fellow Daoist, about the concepts of sentient and insentient beings, that enlightened me and allowed me to begin to understand the Great Dao."
Zhen Yuanzi suddenly realized, but did not take credit, saying, "Even if it helped you, it was just luck. Why should you worry about it?"
Xuanhuang smiled but did not argue with Zhen Yuanzi. He said, "Besides telling you this matter, there is another matter that concerns Master Hongjun of Zixiao Palace."
Upon hearing this, Zhen Yuanzi's expression hardened, and he asked, "Is this related to Master Hongjun? What does this mean?"
"This is a joyous occasion."
Xuanhuang laughed and said, "Brother Dao will know once you go to Zixiao Palace."
Seeing this, Zhen Yuanzi was helpless. He shook his head and ordered two boys to knock down all the ginseng fruit from the tree.
He presented these fruits to Xuanhuang, saying, "Consider these fruits my congratulatory gift to you."
"Ha ha."
Xuanhuang laughed heartily, but did not refuse, and accepted it directly, saying, "Then I will accept it without being impolite."
Zhen Yuanzi then ordered two boys to escort Xuanhuang away, while he himself bathed and burned incense, preparing to go to Zixiao Palace to pay homage to Hongjun Daozu.
Xuanhuang left Wuzhuang Temple and was about to depart when he glanced at the two boys. Suddenly, an idea struck him, and he called out to them, "You two, wait a moment."
"Does Master Uncle have any further instructions?" The two boys quickly stopped and asked.
Xuanhuang took out two ginseng fruits, gave one to each of them, and said, "Take one of these fruits and eat it."
The two boys exchanged a glance, and were overjoyed. They quickly thanked Xuanhuang.
Although they had picked many ginseng fruits, they had never tasted any of them. Now they could finally give them a try.
Moreover, ginseng fruit contains the pure essence of Earth, and its benefits for cultivation are beyond description.
The two were naturally overjoyed and extremely grateful to their senior master, Xuanhuang.
Seeing the two boys return to the temple in high spirits, Xuanhuang smiled. He was just acting on his whim, spreading some opportunities.
It wasn't that I had any ulterior motives.
A twelve-petaled purple lotus of reincarnation appeared beneath his feet, lifting him up as Xuanhuang flew towards Yingzhou Island.
Upon returning to Yingzhou Island, Xuanhuang went into seclusion once again.
During his trip to Zixiao Palace, he finally achieved the Great Dao Perfection, using the reversal of Yin and Yang to prove Taiji, and attained the status of Hunyuan Daluo Golden Immortal.
This can be described as a momentous event.
However, Xuanhuang's mindset calmed down, and he silently comprehended the Way of Tai Chi.
The Way of Tai Chi.
In the Dao of Xuanhuang, this is a very important step: Taiji is one. One means that Xuanhuang integrates all the Dao he has comprehended into one, transforming it into Hunyuan.
It is precisely because of this that the reverse proof of the Taiji by Xuanhuang has become Hunyuan.
In addition, Tai Chi can also represent the state before the creation of heaven and earth, before the chaos was divided into Yin and Yang.
This brings us back to the Dao of Xuanhuang, and how it will continue to evolve and change in the future.
In the calculations of Xuanhuang, Taiji is one, and going further forward, there should be zero, and this zero should be Wuji (the limitless).
From Wuji arises Taiji. The Way of Wuji is a higher realm than the Way of Taiji.
However, before this, there are four other paths that can be combined with Taiji. These are Taiyi, Taichu, Taishi, and Taisu.
Together with Tai Chi, they are known as the Five Primordial Elements.
Having learned from the experience of transforming the four symbols into yin and yang, Xuanhuang clearly understood that he wanted to reverse the process from Taiji to Wuji in one step.
This will definitely be very difficult.
Therefore, in addition to the Way of Tai Chi, he should also comprehend the other four Ways.
Once you have mastered the Five Elements, you can then attain the Limitless without hindrance.
The Five Great Ways involve the process of the creation of heaven and earth from nothingness. Taiyi, Taichu, Taishi, Taisu, and Taiji are five stages that are formed in sequence.
Among them, Taiyi is closest to Wuji, representing a state of boundless emptiness in the universe.
Taiyi is the state before Yin and Yang changed, a vast and boundless void, without light or image, without form or name. Silent and desolate, this is called Taiyi. Taiyi is the beginning of the spirit, before the appearance of Qi.
At this stage, even the differentiation of Yin and Yang had not yet appeared; there was only a vast and boundless primordial void.
In this stage, there is neither light nor darkness, no image, no shape, and no name.
This is Taiyi. Taiyi refers to the beginning of all phenomena, before energy has appeared.
The next step from Taiyi leads to Taichu.
The beginning of time is the first appearance of Qi. The beginning of time represents a formless and intangible state of the universe, consisting only of primordial Qi, a state even more primitive than chaos.
At this stage, it is in name only; although it has energy, it has not yet taken form, hence the name "Primordial Beginning".
The beginning of Taichu was the initial state of Qi, before it took form. Taichu represents the stage where the transformation of Yin and Yang produced Qi, but before it had taken shape.
Tai Shi represents the primordial universe, which was tangible yet intangible, invisible to the senses, and existed before the creation of heaven and earth. It is the third stage, the transition from Wuji (the limitless) to the birth of heaven and earth and the generation of all things.
At this stage, form begins to appear. Yin and Yang combine and blend into one. From this oneness, form arises. Although there is form, there is no substance. This is called the Great Beginning.
The Great Beginning is the beginning of form, before it has any substance. This stage is the initial stage of form before it has any substance.
After the Great Beginning, came the Great Simplicity. The Great Simplicity represents the state of the universe before the creation of heaven and earth, when primordial matter appeared. It is the fourth stage, and it is much more complete than the Great Beginning.
