Primordial Era: The Great Serpent of Yunmeng

Chapter 7 The Golden Immortal of Taiyi and the Final Arrival at Mount Buzhou

Chapter 7 The Golden Immortal of Taiyi and the Final Arrival at Mount Buzhou

For innate deities, achieving the status of a Taiyi Golden Immortal is a quick process, as long as they know the path and direction.

This is because when Heaven and Earth were conceiving them, the three flowers on their heads and the five elements in their chests had already been polished and perfected.

It grows day by day, hidden among the yellow buds of its own kind, and is not particularly noticeable.

Just as a person wouldn't pay attention to breathing under normal circumstances, it's even more surprising to have a fundamental treasure like the Dao Fruit attracting attention.

One only needs to use magic to create a state of life and death. In this state, one can use the life-giving yellow sprout to hook the Dao fruit, attract the three flowers to bloom, and the five energies to be released simultaneously.

Once successful, one's life cultivation and Dao fruit will be linked and naturally aligned. At that time, the Three Flowers will gather at the top of the head and the Five Qi will converge at the origin, enveloping the Dao fruit, so there will be no need to actively maintain this state.

The process shifts from active maintenance to passive maintenance, requiring no mental effort; Taiyi truly arises spontaneously.

The rest is the same as usual: accumulate magical power and cultivate both body and mind.

After filling and polishing the Dao Fruit that has been wrapped, you can then go and open your own Great Luo Heaven.

The Dao Fruit was placed there, connecting the vast wilderness, and thus the Great Luo was achieved.

Accumulating magical power can rely on external forces and consuming rare and precious herbs, but cultivating one's life force can only rely on oneself; it is a gradual process that requires time to hone one's abilities.

After separating from Hongjun, Qi found a quiet place in the Luo River to cultivate in seclusion, and became a Taiyi Golden Immortal in just a thousand years.

Most of the time is spent developing and adapting to that state, striving to find the most suitable approach for oneself.

The remaining time was spent observing how one changed under this state.

After becoming Taiyi, Qi had no desire to continue leisurely floating on the clouds. He grabbed a ferocious beast shaped like an eagle, used his magic to interfere with its senses, and flew towards Buzhou Mountain.

After speeding along for seventeen thousand years, and killing over a hundred ferocious beasts, Qi finally saw the body of Buzhou Mountain, and felt an indescribable excitement in his heart.

The true blood within his body seemed to awaken, surging and surging, his heart pounding wildly, and a faint yet powerful pressure permeated the world, which excited him immensely.

Qi saw a broad road leading into the mountains. On the road, Qi was excited and, with a pilgrimage-like feeling, headed towards Buzhou Mountain.

As they walked step by step into the mountains, the oppressive aura permeating the heavens and earth became increasingly pronounced as Qili Buzhou approached.

By the time they reached the foot of the mountain, the oppressive aura was already enough to make Qi feel the pressure.

At this moment, Qi saw a stone tablet with short, different colored marks on it.

Some traces have begun to fade, some are disappearing and returning to their original state, while others still shine.

Qi reached out and touched the first mark, feeling a golden light shining upon it. Suddenly, he knew who had left this mark.

Emperor Cangli's clan.

Qi felt just like leaving a "So-and-so was here" graffiti at a tourist attraction.

As you touch each of the following objects, you'll find different Daoist auras, some warm, some cold—all left behind by pioneers of the Dao, along with their names.

From this prayer, I also found many names that left a deep impression on my memory, as well as the names of the gods I knew.

Yuan Feng, Zu Long, Shi Qilin, Hong Jun. Next to Yuan Feng's name is another name, Yuan Huang.

Those familiar names include Xi, Wa, Di Jun, Taiyi, Yang Mei, Qiankun, Yuanshi, Taiqing, Shangqing, Minghe, Hongyun...

Among them, there are two marks that are clearly recent, and they are named Di Jun and Tai Yi!

Qi calmed himself down, gathered a point of white light between his fingers, and swiped it across the stone tablet, leaving his own Dao mark and name.

At the same time, I told myself that this was also part of the tourist attraction.

After inscribing the Dao marks, Qi discovered that this world was constantly eroding the Dao marks, which was why those marks became dim and gradually disappeared.

Prayer began climbing the mountain.

With each step forward, the pressure increased, and Qi's Daoist aura emanated from his body, becoming more rounded and full under the pressure.

During the climb, the dissipated Taoist energy gathers on the ground beneath one's feet, becoming part of the path.

The road narrowed as they walked, and ten years passed in the blink of an eye. The once wide avenue had been reduced to a narrow mountain path, but the path remained solid and unbroken.

The oppressive force between heaven and earth was extremely strong, and Qi's breathing was already very heavy. He then saw a majestic man wearing a long robe with gold thread and a crown with stars shining on his head sitting cross-legged in meditation by the roadside.

Upon seeing Qi's arrival and his apparent desire to communicate, the imposing man quickly refused, not rising but merely offering a perfunctory bow, saying:

"My name is Di Jun. I should have shown you full respect, but I am in such a sorry state that I cannot speak with you. My brother Taiyi is already ahead of me, and his talent surpasses mine. You may go ahead, as I have no strength left to attend to anything else."

After speaking, he closed his eyes to meditate and ignored the prayers.

Qi was somewhat bewildered, but had no desire to communicate. He figured they would meet again once they got out, and he was also curious about Donghuang Taiyi, the legendary number one person below the sage. So he kept quiet, quickened his pace, and chased after him.

Another year has passed, and now Qi is finding it difficult to walk, relying entirely on his willpower to keep up with Taiyi.

Taiyi was only three hundred paces away from Qi, but Qi knew that he couldn't catch up; he had reached his limit.

At this moment, Taiyi turned around and said, "Fellow Daoist, please stop here. You must act according to your ability."

Qi was helpless, knowing that he had reached his limit and no longer had the ability to go any further.

So he sat cross-legged on the spot to practice meditation.

At this moment, there was no road under Qi's feet, but behind him was a winding path radiating white light. That was Qi's path, the path of purification.

This is not about learning the transformation of the white lotus into existence or non-existence, but about praying for the true Tao.

The Dao that returns all Qi to its essence, though similar to the transformation between existence and non-existence, is a completely different Dao.

Pray that this is a blessing left by the great god Pangu for all living beings, so that as they gradually strengthen their resistance to the oppressive force, they may understand the true path they are following.

Qi Zhongming, who was sitting cross-legged on the ground, said that the problems he couldn't understand before were now very clear when explained by his current understanding.

Then look at the "White Lotus Pure World Universal Transformation and Enlightenment True Scripture," and its nature is quite different.

In the past, we could only see the last four characters, the beginning of enlightenment, but we forgot the words of the White Lotus Purifying the World and Spreading Transformation.

Taiyi was helpless; his older brother had gotten himself into trouble. This man was both stubborn and unreasonable.

They were born with great blessings and divine nature, yet they did not know how to utilize their advantages.

Even though the Daoist principles had already given hints, they stubbornly clung to the question of whether or not there was transformation, neglecting the essential for the trivial. Despite their extraordinary talent, they went down the wrong path and could never turn back.

Alright, let me remind you after we leave: only the path that suits you is the correct path.

Excessive pursuit of the principles of creation will only lead to one's own downfall. Although it is not good to speak too deeply with someone you don't know well, one cannot simply turn a blind eye to someone going astray.

Suddenly, Taiyi noticed that the person behind him had changed his aura, becoming more natural. He turned around and saw that the person was Mingdao.

Taiyi felt much better, having witnessed people suddenly realize their enlightenment and understand the Way. So he turned back to remind Qi to stop, as going too far is as bad as not going far enough.

After stopping, Qi walked another two hundred miles, but then felt that continuing would harm his mind and spirit, so he stopped. Taiyi then looked back at Qi.

Finding the man acceptable, he hesitated for a moment, then turned and walked back towards Qi.
