Zombie Marvel? Luckily, I'm Superman!

Chapter 36 Do I look like your father?

This approach proved effective, and Morgan was overjoyed, clucking incessantly. Anyone who didn't know better would think someone's chicken coop wasn't properly closed.

"How about it? Don't I look like your dad?"

Lin Yi chuckled. With those swaggering movements and that perfectly replicated voice, anyone who came would have to admit it was Tony Stark.

"So alike! So alike!" Little Morgan was very obliging, grinning from ear to ear, and clapping her little hands vigorously for Lin Yi!

"Hey, you're talking about this? Come on, punch me!" Lin Yi laughed and ran over to squat next to Morgan, gesturing for her to punch him in the chest.

She's so sensible, we can't let her down!

Morgan immediately put his hands on his hips and cheerfully threw a soft punch.

"Ugh!" Lin Yi, in a dramatic mood, continued to use Tony Stark's voice.

He was struck as if by a heavy blow, squatting down like a frog, clutching his chest, taking two steps back, and collapsing to the ground with a thud, uttering a painful pleas for mercy.

"Wow! Miss Morgan is amazing! She defeated Iron Man, Tony Stark!"

"Oh my god! That's amazing, Miss Morgan! Please forgive me! I was wrong! It's all my fault!"

"Please forgive me, Miss Morgan!"

Using Tony's voice, Lin Yi, dressed in MK85s, rolled around on the ground without any shame.

What is shame? He's Tony Stark now, so if anyone's going to be embarrassed, it's Tony Stark who's going to be embarrassed!

Morgan jumped up excitedly, screaming as she crouched down and kept punching the MK85 with her little fists. Every time she punched Lin Yi, he rolled around, and every punch sent him rolling further and further away.

Morgan's unrestrained laughter echoed throughout the park entrance, truly letting loose his natural instincts.

At Stark Industries, Tony Stark frantically grabbed his hair, acting like a madman.

"What is he doing! What is Morgan doing!"

Watching these two use his image to create abstract art, I felt an overwhelming sense of embarrassment, like ants crawling all over my back.

"Oh no! Less than two hours later, she's already replacing me, her daddy?!"

"And another thing! Where did he get that MK85 outfit? Where did he get it?!"

"Jarvis!" Tony cried out, his eyes bloodshot as he stared at the screen.

"Sir, no loss of your combat suit has been detected."

"Furthermore, Sir, the target mission has been confirmed to possess spatial storage technology. The match rate has risen to 58.92%."

"Is that what I'm asking you? I'm asking where he got his suit!" Tony said, his face darkening.

"Sir, we speculate that the target comes from a parallel universe, which matches one of the characteristics mentioned by the quantum man. His suit may have been a gift from another of you in a parallel universe."

"Attempt to connect to the suit has been made, but the other party refuses to connect. Should we try to force a connection?"

Boom!

dong dong!

Tony slammed his fist on the table twice, gritting his teeth, "Not for now!"

Another one? Haha, she must have lost her mind, giving this bastard an MK85, what was she thinking?

Lin Yi, who had been wearing MK85s and paired with a small Morgan bag for half a day, was finally exhausted.

Fighting is less tiring than comforting a child!

After leaving the amusement park, Lin Yi held Morgan's little hand as they searched for a place to have dinner.

After today's incident, Lin Yi has appeared in her list of close friends.

Ah, children's friendships are so simple!

"Lin Yi, why do you have Daddy's MK outfit?" After randomly choosing a Chinese restaurant and ordering some food, the two sat down by the window.

At this moment, Morgan couldn't help but ask Lin Yi about the MK suit. She knew her dad's personality; it was almost impossible for him to give the MK suit to anyone else, even though her dad now had a new suit. The MK85's technology was already considered to be of the previous generation.

"Good question. Didn't I already tell you I come from another universe?"

"Do you know about parallel universes? This is a gift from your father to me in another universe." Lin Yi told the truth directly. There was no need to lie to Morgan about this information. He had already figured it out beforehand, and it wasn't anything important.

Morgan's eyes lit up again.

"Really?! Does my daddy exist in your universe too?"

Morgan didn't know much about parallel universes; he only knew the concept.

"That's right. Most parallel universes develop in a similar way, but the details can be vastly different, and some may even have completely different futures."

"I've taken a look, and the two universes we live in have a high degree of similarity, but we can't find any past history to verify it."

"Our universe not only has your dad, but also you!" Lin Yi chuckled and reached out again, pulling out a cell phone out of thin air.

Lin Yi gestured for Morgan to sit down and opened the photo album.

"Wow! A younger version of Daddy?" Morgan looked at the photo with curiosity.

The photo shows Tony, who is proudly showing something off to the camera.

This daddy has almost no gray hair, while my daddy's hair is half gray.

Lin Yi casually swiped the screen, and the next photo was of a young Morgan, being held in Tony's arms. Tony was carrying a cake in his other hand, and the two had just gotten out of the car.

"Is this me?" Morgan exclaimed in surprise as she reached out and touched the screen, where a message popped up.

A commemorative photo of Morgan's third birthday in 2022.

Little Morgan looked almost exactly like her, just like she had a few years ago. It was a novel feeling, seeing a version of herself that was exactly the same, experiencing a past that she herself had never experienced.

"Is there more? Is there more?!" Morgan was very polite. Instead of flipping through the photo album, she looked up at Lin Yi expectantly.

"Of course! I'll find them for you!" Lin Yi certainly wouldn't refuse this small request, and flipped through the pages one by one.

His camera doesn't contain any images that children shouldn't see, so he's not worried at all.

Banner posing for a photo, Steve holding up his shield and smiling – these were casually taken by Lin Yi at the Avengers headquarters.

"This is Uncle Thor!" Morgan exclaimed, looking at the pot-bellied version of Thor. He had only heard his daddy mention that Uncle Thor used to be very fat, but this was the first time he had ever seen him!

"This is..." Lin Yi turned to the next page of the photo, feeling a little embarrassed.

The photo is taken from a very low angle, looking like a child holding a phone and shooting upwards. In the picture, Lin Yi and Tony are giving each other the middle finger.

Morgan smiled knowingly. "It's obvious you have a great relationship with your daddy from another universe!"

"It's alright." Lin Yi scratched his head and quickly turned to the next page, but his expression suddenly froze, sensing that something bad was about to happen!

Sure enough, the moment Morgan saw the photo, he froze and fell silent.

Lin Yi pursed his lips, realizing he had been careless, and reached out to swipe open the photo, but was stopped by Morgan.

"Mommy..." Morgan's voice was low as he stared blankly at his phone screen.

This is a group photo of Pepper and Tony sitting on a picnic blanket on the lawn by the lake.

And the smaller version of Morgan sat among them.

"Your universe, Mommy is still alive, right..." Morgan's voice was muffled, her face lowered, so Lin Yi couldn't see her expression. He could only reach out and pat her head, hoping to offer some comfort.

"Yes, Mommy is still alive. You in another universe are happy and joyful..."

Lin Yi regretted saying it as soon as it left her mouth. Wasn't that like stabbing the child in the back? Oh, my mouth!

"Hello! This is your set meal, please enjoy."

Just as Lin Yi was thinking about how to comfort Morgan, the clueless waiter appeared and placed two set meals, one large and one small, in front of them with a blank expression.

Morgan didn't say anything, nor did he look at Lin Yi's phone anymore. He picked up his fork and silently ate his meal.

Lin Yi scratched his head. This damn show-off! It felt like he'd worked for nothing all afternoon. The photo he'd finally managed to coax back had been taken back.
