Zombie Marvel? Luckily, I'm Superman!

Chapter 2 Tony's Troubles, the story begins.

Holding Morgan, she slowly descended to the ground. As soon as Morgan's feet touched the ground, she playfully pounced on Tony at the door, a common tactic of hers.

"Daddy! The boss did what he promised me! It's so much fun up there!"

Very good, they took the initiative right from the start and then turned the tables on us.

"You..." Tony was speechless. He quickly checked Morgan from head to toe, and only breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that she was alright. Then he glared at Lin Yi.

"How many times have I told you, don't take her to do such dangerous things! Have you forgotten rule number one?"

Lin Yi shrugged: "Mr. Stark, I only showed Morgan the clean-powered assisted levitation experience; I didn't violate any rules against flying!"

"Besides, Morgan said that this fulfilled your promise to her, and honestly, you should thank me!"

Just kidding, before he transmigrated, Lin Yi was a high-intensity surfing enthusiast who always claimed to have never lost a match against someone who used shamelessness.

Tony choked. He hadn't actually said he'd beaten Lin Yi. Compared to his incredible abilities, his verbal skills were even more impressive!

Just as I was about to retort, I heard the sound of a car engine.

Turning around, a car that had circled several times slowly drove up the side road and stopped in front of Tony's cabin.

The car door opened, and several unusually familiar faces stepped out.

It was exactly what Lin Yi had seen before: Black Widow, Captain America, Banner in his Hulk-fused form, and Ant-Man with an incredibly goofy look, Scott Lang. Lin Yi finally remembered his name.

Lin Yi's heart skipped a beat, and he thought to himself, "They're here."

He determined the exact timeline within a few days of his arrival: it was right after Thanos snapped his fingers and destroyed the Infinity Stones.

He once suspected that his time travel might have been an accident caused by the destruction of the Infinity Stones. But upon closer examination, he felt that the Infinity Stones couldn't possibly affect anything outside the fourth wall, so the reason for his time travel remains a mystery.

Natasha and the others walked towards Tony, and the atmosphere became somewhat awkward.

"Tony..." Steve's gaze swept over the group, his tone heavy.

"Captain, Natasha, what brought you here?" Tony nodded, his expression unreadable.

"We have something important to discuss with you." Natasha stepped forward, her gaze lingering briefly on Lin Yi and Morgan before she gave a slight nod in greeting.

Her expression was just as serious as Steve's, but she was unusually energetic, with a hint of excitement beneath her fatigue.

Tony paused for a moment, then frowned almost imperceptibly. "Come in and talk."

He stepped aside and pushed Morgan towards Lin Yi. "Lin, take Morgan inside and get her something to drink."

Lin Yi understood immediately and took Morgan's hand: "Let's go, Morgan, it seems your daddy has something to do!"

Morgan nodded without hesitation. She didn't know what it was about, only that she had escaped her daddy's lecture.

But Lin Yi knew all too well why these people had come. The moment he saw Scott Lang, Lin Yi knew that the plot of Avengers: Endgame had officially begun.

At this moment, Ant-Man had just emerged from the Quantum Realm, and five years was only five hours for Scott in the Quantum Realm.

They came here with the hope of time hijacking to discuss it with Tony.

The door closed, blocking out most of the sound.

Morgan, clutching his juice glass, tugged at Lin Yi's sleeve. "Boss, can we fly another lap tomorrow?"

"Fly again?" Lin Yi immediately refused, pointing out the window.

"You can't fly anymore. I reckon your dad won't be in a good mood for the next couple of days, so you'd better not provoke him."

Little Morgan peeked out and, at five years old, she was already able to sense the changes in the adults' emotions.

She recognized several people, except for the funny guy who was gesticulating wildly and seemed unusually excited.

Morgan turned to Lin Yi with some concern and asked, "Are they here to argue with Daddy?"

"They won't be arguing; they've come to ask your dad for help. But with your dad's temper, he probably won't agree so easily," Lin Yi pondered.

Morgan asked, puzzled, "Why?"

Why?

Morgan didn't know, but Lin Yi had seen the movie. Since defeating Thanos, Tony had withdrawn from most of the Avengers' activities.

He has dealt with all sorts of disasters and worried about too many things, including aliens and even cosmic-level catastrophes.

Now he's tired and just wants to live a peaceful life with Morgan and Pepper.

Thinking of this, Lin Yi glanced at Little Morgan and chuckled.

"Now that your dad has someone to worry about, he's become more timid!"

Pepper, who had just walked in, overheard this and gave Lin Yi a helpless look: "Lin, don't teach Morgan these things."

Lin Yi immediately raised his hands in surrender and made a gesture to seal his mouth.

About half an hour later, Natasha and Steve left, their backs looking somewhat forlorn.

Tony stood at the door, watching the car drive away, and remained motionless for a long time.

After a while, he turned around and went into the house, his face looking rather unpleasant.

Pepper pulled Morgan over, whispered a few words to him, and then took Morgan to rest.

Tony rubbed his temples and walked to the sofa, sitting down opposite Lin Yi.

"Were you just talking nonsense with Morgan again?" The tone was somewhat complaining, but not accusatory.

Lin Yi shrugged: "I'm just stating an objective fact. Men with families naturally have more concerns."

"You heard everything?" Tony felt a headache coming on; his thoughts were in turmoil.

Lin Yi didn't deny it; even without his super hearing ability, his five senses were far beyond what ordinary people could compare to. And even if he didn't hear it, he knew roughly what they were saying based on the movie.

Tony was still processing the conversation when a sense of irritation rose within him. He got up and went to the window after sitting for less than two minutes.

Gazing at the tranquil lake, a gentle breeze stirred a ripple, calming Tony down slightly.

"I'm not saying... I'm afraid or anything."

"Time travel? It's easy to say, but it's absolutely impossible..."

Lin Yi pursed his lips; he didn't really want to advise this guy. After all, he would naturally figure things out and make a decision once he calmed down.

But, considering Morgan and the fact that he hadn't collected rent for five years, Lin Yi still picked up his juice glass and walked past Tony, casually remarking, "Scott Lang's appearance already says something, doesn't it?"

Tony is trying to convince himself to stop pushing himself so hard and focus on holding onto the present.

But once hope emerges, illuminating the entire starry sky will only be a matter of time.

"Scott Lang's situation was just an accident. Do you think stabilizing such an accident is as simple as washing a juice glass?" Tony made excuses for himself.

Lin Yi washed the juice glass and placed it on the cup holder next to her. Next to the cup holder was a photo frame.

In the photo, Peter Parker is smiling brightly.

"Iron Man's appearance was also an accident, wasn't it?" Lin Yi asked rhetorically.

Tony was stunned for a moment, his lips moved, but he didn't know what to say.

Unable to bear the heavy atmosphere, Lin Yi patted Tony's shoulder heavily.

"I'm not saying this to blackmail you. You'll eventually come to your senses and make the right decision."

There is no right or wrong in any decision you make.

"You know my capabilities. If you need anything, just ask. Consider it as rent for the next five years."
