Dark Wizard: Rise! My undead army!
Chapter 495 The Weak Goblin
As the integration continues, the skies of both worlds are changing.
On the sky above the goblin world, the outline of the Source Realm transformed from a blurry phantom into a clear image.
The folds of the mountains, the bends of the rivers, the boundaries of the forests—every detail seems to have been wiped clean of mist.
You can even see herds of animals roaming the valleys and birds flying through the forest.
In the sky above the Origin Realm, the reflection of the goblin world also became clear.
The walls of the imperial city, the chimneys of the factories, and the crops in the fields all seemed to be magnified and brought closer.
The goblins stood on the streets, on the ridges of fields, and on rooftops, looking up at the sky. They saw the forest and river opposite, as well as the orcs running and the dragons circling overhead.
Haru stood in the command room of the palace, in front of rows of instruments from the observation station.
Several technicians in white coats gathered around the screen, their fingers tapping on the keyboard, and the screen displayed a dense array of data.
Haru placed his hands on the table and leaned slightly forward.
"Report the observation results."
A technician looked up, holding a newly printed report in his hand.
"Your Majesty, the world opposite is a colossal world, much larger than the Empire, but with a much lower population density."
"The population data we observed for each race are as follows: approximately 800 million humans, approximately 300 million orc tribes, approximately 8 million elves, and approximately 25 million dwarves."
"In addition, there are a large number of magical beasts and sea creatures lurking in the ocean, and the number of sea creatures is impossible to count."
Haru breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this.
The world on the other side is vast, but the number of people is small, so it shouldn't be too difficult to deal with.
He tapped his fingers lightly on the table. "What about the strength assessment?"
The technician turned to a page of the report.
"The production level of the other world is far lower than ours. They have no industrial system, no mechanized agriculture, and no aviation and aerospace technology."
"However, the proportion of professionals in the other world is extremely high. We have observed many battle scenes where the strength of ordinary professionals is equivalent to that of our magic-powered mech pilots or elite soldiers."
"The strength of top-tier professionals exceeds the capabilities of conventional weapons. We have observed at least thirty extraordinary individuals whose destructive power surpasses that of the magic-powered giant cannon in battle."
Beyond the destructive power of the magic cannon?
That's really terrifying.
Haru's lips pressed into a line, he loosened his fingers and straightened up.
"In other words, we can completely suppress ordinary soldiers and low-level professionals with technological weapons, but we can't deal with top-level professionals."
The technician nodded.
"Yes, Your Majesty, those top professionals have extremely high destructive power, reaction speed, and physical qualities. Magic cannons may not be able to hit them, and magic mechs may not be able to catch them."
"To deal with them, we either need to deploy a large number of magic cannons and magic tanks in advance for a saturation attack, or... we can only rely on the gods."
Haru remained silent for a long time.
His gaze shifted from the data on the screen to the projection of the approaching continent outside the window.
"Continue to monitor; report any changes immediately."
The technicians responded and turned back to their respective instruments.
Haru stood by the window, watching the continent grow clearer and clearer, without saying a word.
...
In the human kingdom of the Origin Realm, several kings' envoys sat in a circle in the council hall.
An elderly man in a dark blue robe spread a map on the table, marking the boundary between the Origin Realm and the opposite world.
"The other side is a world dominated by goblins. Those goblins are dressed very well and live in very tidy houses. There are also iron boxes that can run on their own and iron shells that can fly."
"Their tricks are indeed impressive, but those iron boxes are just tools, no matter how powerful they are. We have brave and fearless warriors and mages with amazing destructive power. We are not afraid of these little greens."
"Those goblins are weaker than us, have shorter lifespans, and are less talented. They can rule a world only because of good luck."
"If they were in the Origin Realm, they would only be reduced to wild beasts."
Another general in silver armor slammed his hand on the table. "Then let's attack! Goblins are so weak, one slap is enough to kill one."
Several royal envoys beside them nodded in agreement, while the old man in the dark blue robe glanced at them.
"I can attack. But let's discuss how to divide the territory first. I want the plains to the south."
The general in silver armor laughed. "You certainly know how to pick. The southern plains are the most fertile; whatever you plant there will grow."
The old man's lips twitched slightly. "I'll choose the south side; the western mountains are yours. There are mines in those mountains, enough for you to mine for hundreds of years."
The general nodded. "Deal."
The messengers nearby also began to whisper among themselves, some asking for the eastern forest, others for the northern coast.
No one in the council chamber was discussing whether they could win; they were only discussing how to divide the spoils if they did win.
They're just a bunch of goblins; what trouble can they cause?
In the orc tribe, several chieftains sat around a huge campfire.
A whole wild boar was roasting over the campfire, its fat dripping into the fire and sizzling.
The chieftain cut off a piece of meat with his knife, put it in his mouth, and chewed it a few times.
"The other side is a goblin world."
His voice was muffled.
"Goblins are physically weak; they can be killed with a punch."
The orcs nearby nodded in agreement, and one of them threw a bone into the fire.
"The place where those goblins live is beautiful, the grass is green and the water is clear. We want that land."
The chieftain swallowed the meat in his mouth and raised the bone cup in his hand.
"Once they land, we'll charge in. We'll take the most fertile land first, then slowly fight our way through. The goblins can't beat us."
The orcs raised their bone goblets and roared in unison, their voices echoing across the wilderness.
In the council chamber of the dwarf kingdom, the king sat on a stone chair, holding a glass of ale in his hand.
Several dwarf elders sat around a table with a rough map on it.
"The other side is a goblin world. Goblins are physically weak, but they have those metal boxes that can run, big metal birds that can fly, and things that can breathe fire."
An elder put down his wine cup.
"No matter how powerful those things are, they can't compare to our runic armor and underground fortresses."
"Goblins are so weak, how could they possibly rule a world? They must have used some kind of trickery."
The king put down his wine cup and stood up.
"No matter what methods they use, we should defend our own territory first. Once they land, we'll send scouts over to check it out."
"If those goblins are really that weak, then we'll take a share; if those iron boxes are really that powerful, then we'll retreat underground."
The elders nodded, and someone poured another glass of ale.
All races seemed to be prepared, treating the other world as a spoils to be conquered at will.
As for those goblins...
They're just a bunch of green rats...
